Planning to watch the Oscars this Sunday for the first time in 3 years… just to see if “Joker” will win Best Picture and see if Tom Hanks will win his 3rd Oscar…

Yeah, I’m planning to watch the Oscars this Sunday for a few reasons. 1) I want to see if “Joker” is gonna win for Best Picture 2) See if Tom Hanks is gonna win his third Oscar for his Mr. Rogers movie.

I’ve taken a long break from watching the Oscars. It may have seem like I haven’t watched it in many years but technically, I’ve noticed I haven’t watched it in 3 years. The last time I watched the Oscars was when “Spotlight” w/ Michael Keaton won Best Picture. I stopped watching after that due to all the politics going on and stuff, ya know?

I am gonna watch this year, though. There are some good nominations this year, that’s another reason it got me interested in the Oscars again.

Is this movie “Parasite” worthy of all these nominations? Is it Best Picture worthy? I’m not sure. I haven’t seen “Parasite” yet but I’m planning to watch it this weekend since I bought it on BluRay this week.

I saw “Joker” finally, though and fucking LOVED IT. I really hope “Joker” wins “Best Picture” and there’s a good chance it will.

I’ve watched the Oscars throughout most of my life… since my high school years pretty much. Took a few year break ’cause of their left-wing politics. I’m sure there are going to be some politics this year but I’m gonna do my best to ignore it all. I probably will end up watching the whole show.

Oscars gonna be interesting this year. I hope “Joker” wins it but it’ll probably end up going to “Parasite”. Never though, neither “Joker” or “Parasite” would get Best Picture and it can end up going to something else. “Little Women” might win it, though, I wouldn’t be surprised. If lucky enough “The Irishman” or “Marriage Story” could end up being the first Netflix Best Picture winner. We’ll see this weekend.

Thoughts on the Oscar nominations for 2020… looks good this year… will I watch? Thinking about it…

Well the Oscar nominations came out for this year and they look surprisingly good. I haven’t watched the Oscars in like several years or more for a few reasons: 1) Hollywood won’t stop getting political 2) The nominations has been shit lately. This year the nominations are looking pretty decent, in my opinion.

The “Joker” movie scored the most nominations and it actually scored a “Best Picture” nomination which is really surprising. The Oscars has never been too friendly with comic book films and violent films so for the Oscars to be all over “Joker” is kind of weird. It’s cool, though. I haven’t seen “Joker” yet but I bought the BluRay for the “Joker” movie last week and I will get to that film sometime this week. I’ll watch it tomorrow night probably.

Anyhow, the other Best Picture nominations for this year looks good… only ones I’ve seen out of the Best Pictures are “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood”, “Marriage Story” and “The Irishman”.

I just watched “Marriage Story” on Netflix last night and it was alright. Not actually the best movie of 2019 like everyone was buzzing about but it was pretty good. Nothing I’ll watch over and over but I thought the best part about “Marriage Story” was Adam Driver’s performance which he actually got nominated for that role. I would like for Adam to win an Oscar for that role but Joaquin Phoenix is probably gonna get the Best Male Lead for “Joker”.

I’m happy that Tom Hanks got nominated for his Mr. Rogers, “It’s a Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood” movie. It does look like Tom Hanks maybe winning his 3rd Oscar ’cause that was a really good performance. I saw the Mr. Rogers movie in theater and LOVED IT.

I’m glad “The Irishman” got some nominations ’cause that was a fucking awesome movie. Loved that one and I’m happy for Quentin Tarantino that he’s in the Oscars spotlight again. “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” was great too and I predict Quentin might win for Best Original Screenplay for that one.

Was there any snubs for this year’s Oscars that I was disappointed in? Well the only snub I can think of was that Adam Sandler was snubbed for his role in “Uncut Gems”. I saw “Uncut Gems” last week as well… it was a pretty good film but Adam Sandler’s role in that film was the best part about it. I think it’s a shame Sandler got ignored and that was one of his best performances.

I’ve noticed “The Lighthouse” movie with Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe didn’t get too much nominations hardly at all. I’m gonna get to “The Lighthouse” movie this week ’cause I rented it through Google Play so looking forward to that one. I heard “The Lighthouse” is real good and getting a lot of award buzz but it seems it has gotten ignored by the Academy pretty much. “The Lighthouse” movie only got nominated for Best Cinematography category which kind of sucks. I do want to see that film and been wanting to see it for a while. Looks good.

https://oscar.go.com/news/nominations/oscar-nominations-2020-list-nominees-by-category

Other than that, the Oscars looks good this time and I might actually watch this one. Yeah, there’s probably gonna be a lot of politics and Trump bashing but I’ll do my best to ignore all that. I’m just curious to see what’s gonna win Best Picture, Best Leading Male actor and Best Supporting Male Actor. I want Tom Hanks to win for the Mr. Rogers role and I really think he’s gonna get it. Joaquin Phoenix is probably gonna win for “Joker” and I wanna see him win that one too.

I haven’t seen “Joker” yet but gonna get around to it tomorrow night. I know “Joker” is the most talked about movie of the year and I’ve never gotten around to seeing it in theater so I bought it on BluRay.

Will “Joker” end up being the first comic book movie to win a “Best Picture” award? I don’t know but it will be amazing so we’ll see. Cross our fingers for now.

Yes, I ended up watching the Oscars last night and it was pretty decent… pretty good show actually!!!!

I’ve stayed away from watching the Oscar awards for the past several years. Why? Simply because they’ve gone too political lately. I’ve been boycotting the Oscars for a long while and decided to watch last night.  I was a little worried that the Oscars would go political again this year. They did go “political” but not as bad as in the past. Spike Lee talked trash about Trump even though he didn’t bring up Trump’s name but the Trump bashing wasn’t that bad last night. It was a pretty calm show for the most part.

I was surprised the Oscars opened the show with Queen performing. That was actually great. I’m a huge fan of Queen but not a huge fan of Adam Lambert fronting them, though. Don’t like Adam’s singing but Queen performed good.

I wanted to watch the Oscars last night ’cause I wanted to see if “Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse” was going to win Best Animated Picture (which it did) and wanted to see if “Green Book” wins Best Picture (and it did). I’m glad Mahershala Ali won for his role in “Green Book” too. I’m also happy for Remi Malek for winning for “Bohemian Rhapsody” as I also loved that film. The winners went to the right people and I was happy how the results turned out to be.

As for the live performances go, I loved Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga performing together. I thought that was really great and I do love the song “Shallow”. I have the “Star Is Born” soundtrack on my Ipod. It’s a great soundtrack.

The Oscars proved last night that they don’t need a host to run a show. While it wasn’t a bad show last night, the fashion on the celebrities seem to be getting worse each year, though.

I haven’t watched the Oscars in a long while and it was interesting to see how the Oscars are now.

I’m just happy that “Green Book” won BEST PICTURE and glad “Black Panther” didn’t get it. That’s the best thing that happened at the Oscars last night. “Green Book” really was a great film and it is Best Picture worthy. I saw that film in theater and loved it. Plan on getting the film on Blu Ray soon ’cause it comes out on Blu Ray next week on March 5th. I’m definitely picking up a copy.

I thought the Oscars was pretty good last night and they’re slowly getting better. Glad I watched.

Thoughts on Jeanine Pirro getting kicked off “The View” to promote her book… nothing to see there… just more Trump Derangement Syndrome…

Some of you readers may be wondering what my opinion on this is. Ya know, Whoopi Goldberg kicking off a FOX News host Jeanine Pirro off “The View” to promote her new book and to talk about it. Jeanine was asked by the View to appear on the show and Jeanine gladly obliged to get interviewed by them. At the start of the interview, they started to talk about Jeanine’s book at first but of course, they had to get into a huge debate about Donald Trump. Jeanine got a little pissed as you can see ’cause she went on the show to talk about her book, not talk about Donald Trump but the ladies on the View kept talking to Jeanine about Trump anyways.

They get into an argument about illegals and immigration and all that accusing Trump of hate like a typical liberal would. Jeanine tries to explain to them that the economy is in good shape but of course, the ladies on the View just ignores her and tries to change the subject. As you can see in the video, Whoopi goes to on to say that she doesn’t have “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and tries to defend herself then she goes off about Trump’s presidency.

Then Whoopi abruptly ends the interview real fast. After that, Jeanine goes on Sean Hannity to talk about what happened after the interview. Jeanine was walking through the hallway downstairs to leave the building but she ends up seeing Whoopi again. Jeanine tries to talk to her again and then suddenly Whoopi tells her to “Fuck you, get the fuck out of the building”.

So let me get this straight… Whoopi claims she doesn’t have Trump Derangement Syndrome and she kicks out a woman who is a Trump supporter? Seriously? In my opinion, Jeanine shouldn’t have gone on the show and she should have declined the invitation. She should have seen this coming. Liberals hate Trump supporters so much and they are willing to do anything to humiliate them. I think this incident was all set-up and planned by the View. They intentionally wanted to humiliate Jeanine on National TV which they did a good job of. They knew exactly what they wanted to do to her ’cause they wanted to entertain the anti-Trump crowd.

Sure, what Whoopi and the View did was stupid and wrong… yes, Whoopi should be fired for it but it would never happen. She’s a liberal that’s why. I’m sure liberals in America are loving Whoopi for this. ABC and the View probably thought to themselves, “Hmmmm, what could we do to bring the ratings up? Lets invite a conservative author so we can bully her on live TV!!!” That’s what it was all about.

The thing is, liberals are trying their best to normalize hatred toward Trump supporters and conservatives which they are doing a very good job at. They harass and bully Trump supporters, they probably won’t get any punishment for it.

Jeanine was trying to be nice and friendly to the women on the View but all they wanted to do was yell at her. That’s liberalism today, folks. Liberals yelling at Trump supporters and conservatives for differences of opinion. Sickening.

Anyhow, Jeanine shouldn’t feel bad about this ’cause the View’s hate toward her is great publicity for the book anyways and I’m sure Jeanine’s book sales would skyrocket after this, watch it. The book will easily become a best seller pretty quickly. I’m definitely going to buy it ’cause I love Jeanine. Always did. I’m planning to pick up a copy of her new book soon. I like to watch her show on FOX News on Saturdays sometimes.

Roseanne spin-off simply titled, “The Conners” a go by ABC… really? No one’s gonna watch this, trust me!!!

This is bullshit but no surprise, though. It is also hilarious at the same time. Did ABC really think people are going to watch this garbage without Roseanne? No. I don’t fucking think so. No one’s gonna watch this without Roseanne. I know I won’t.

When Roseanne was actually on, this show got millions and millions of ratings but ABC screwed up by letting her go over something political. The same cast of the Roseanne show are still gonna star in the new spin-off but Roseanne Barr herself won’t be in it.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/roseanne-spinoff-conners-officially-a-go-at-abc-1117397

It’s unfair. Roseanne got fired from her show that she loves over a simple joke on twitter and yet Peter Fonda threatens to take Barron Trump away from Donald and Melania, Fonda is still releasing his next movie.

We’re now in an age where conservatives gets punishment for saying bad things, but when liberals says bad things they get no punishment. That’s the world we’re living in right now. Crazy.

Thoughts on this whole Roseanne getting cancelled over tweet joking about Valerie Jarrett thing… just more double standards and left-wing hypocrisy… nothing to see here, y’all…

roseanne-supporters-want-bill-maher-fired-for-double-standard-ftr.jpg

Some of you are probably wondering what my thoughts about this are by now. Ya know, Roseanne show getting canceled all of a sudden over a tweet Roseanne herself posted on twitter making fun of former Obama official, Valerie Jarrett. The reason Roseanne is in hot water for this is ’cause Roseanne made a joke about comparing Valerie Jarrett to Planet of the Apes and Muslim Brotherhood. Of course, liberals and the die-hard left are outraged… calling her racist and they’ve even gone as far as calling Roseanne supporters racist too. Sickening.

When will the left ever apologize for their harassment and bullying toward people who don’t think the same way they do? The left has said 10x’s much worse things to people on the right. So it’s okay to call Donald Trump an ape too? It’s okay to make fun of his weight and pick on his so-called health problems? It’s okay to pick on his hair and other things???

It’s okay for the left to call conservatives all kinds of nasty and horrible names like racists, white supremacists, nazis, misogynists, bigots, homophobes, teabaggers, islamaphobic and on and on and  on????

It’s okay for left-wing TV personalities such as Bill Maher, Joy Behar, Kimmel, Keith Olberman, Rosie O’ Donnell and others to spew their hatred toward Trump and conservatives?

This is the media’s view of the world: it’s good to be a liberal and bad to be conservative. Messed up.

As far as Roseanne comparing Valerie Jarrett to an ape and a Muslim, she did nothing wrong, in my opinion. I thought it was funny and she’s so right on that. Liberals are upset ’cause it’s racist and Valerie is a black woman. Really? Um, no. Valerie is not a black woman at all. If you look at her skin, she’s definitely white. I don’t see how it’s racist at all. Just stupid libtards looking for a reason to call Roseanne a racist.

This whole thing was planned out and orchestrated by the media. They wanted Roseanne’s show pulled off the air and they got it. They waited for Roseanne to say something stupid and they jumped in on the opportunity to make her look bad. This is just more liberal double standards and hypocrisy like usual.

The left never gets hold to account for their horrible things they said and did, but it’s conservatives are always the ones that are getting in trouble. It’s so sickening.

Never apologize to the left; no matter how outraged and offended they get. I never did. We’re in an age where conservatives get in trouble for saying certain things even if there’s nothing wrong with them. Always stick to your guns and never cave into the left. I never did.

Roseanne didn’t do anything wrong and you know it, too. She got attacked ’cause of her support for Trump and for her “free thinking” beliefs. Period. End of story. When it was announced that Roseanne’s comeback show was going back to ABC, I predicted ABC would be the wrong network for it after the same network cancelled “Last Man Standing” over politics.

I’m tired of the ass-kissing toward Obama and his former administration officials.

Once again Valerie isn’t black, she’s an Iranian woman. She’s not African-American at all, lol. So what Roseanne did wasn’t racist.

I’m tired of the term “racist”. Most overused term in history. Come up with new attacks, idiots.

With all this being said, I stand with Roseanne Barr. All this makes me love her even more now. Her show will possibly be moved over to FOX which means even bigger ratings.

Now that the new “Roseanne” show revival scored 18 million in TV ratings, hopefully Fake News and the rest of TV will get the hint of what Americans want to see… GOOD TV!

I’m pretty sure CNN, NBC and other liberal networks are in a jealous rage ’cause ABC scored huge ratings over the Roseanne reboot premiere. The Roseanne reboot premiere scored 18 million in ratings. Yep, 18 million people in America watched the show last night and I was one of those who watched the show.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/tv-ratings-roseanne-revival-skyrockets-stunning-premiere-1097943

There is liberal bias everywhere on TV and ABC proved that it doesn’t have to be. Yeah, the writers for the “Roseanne” show are all liberal and I’m sure they wanted the new show to be all liberal but they couldn’t. I’m sure they had to go for Roseanne Conner to be a Trump supporter ’cause Roseanne Barr is a Trump supporter in real life too. I’m sure Roseanne herself had to teach the writers a lot about conservative politics ’cause I’m pretty sure they don’t know anything about being conservative.

Hopefully Fake News TV will get the hint of what America wants to see. We want to see good TV. Good TV is coming back but very slowly. If Fake News and the rest of TV wants their ratings back then they need to stop their bashing of Trump and conservatives. Get back to reporting the news and real stuff.

Can’t wait for the next episode ’cause the show is great so far. Hopefully the show doesn’t go downhill and I’m sure it won’t.

Kev

Watched the Roseanne premiere last night and it was really great!!! Making TV great again!!!

I don’t watch a lot of sitcoms with the exception of a few of them. The only sitcoms that I watched over the years of my life were “Roseanne”, “Seinfeld”, “Frasier” and “Home Improvement”. They were the good sitcoms, but other than that I’m not a fan of sitcoms much.

Last night, “Roseanne” returned to television after like 20 years of being off the air. I used to watch the old “Roseanne” show obsessively when I was young ’cause it was one of the sitcoms that was actually good and watchable. The show is back and the whole gang is back too. Yeah, everybody from the original show has pretty much returned.

I watched the full hour of the new “Roseanne” last night and I was pretty impressed with the show actually. It was very enjoyable and watchable all the way through. I wasn’t bored one bit. The writing was really good for a sitcom and the show was well-acted by the whole cast. Most importantly, Roseanne Barr and John Goodman both still got it after all these years so it doesn’t surprise me. Roseanne can still do her trademark laugh really well. John Goodman has been away from the small screen for many years due to his movie career. John was already a big movie star before “Roseanne”, but I’m sure “Roseanne” helped boost his movie career ’cause he starred in many big roles over the years after the original “Roseanne”. Now John is back and it doesn’t surprise me that he still can play Dan Conner pretty well.

It was said in the new Roseanne revival that Roseanne and Dan Conner are gonna be Trump supporters and conservative people. When I watched the show last night, it turned out exactly that… Roseanne and Dan being Trump supporting conservatives while other people in the family are liberals especially Jackie Harris who is Roseanne’s younger sister. Laurie Metcalf reprises her role as Jackie for the new revival. In this revival Jackie is a die-hard liberal and in the premiere, shows Jackie and Roseanne arguing over politics most of the show which was entertaining as hell. Something we can all relate to in real life.

The show wanted to depict what families lives are really like during these political times. Yeah, I’m sure a lot of families out there have mixed political views.  A lot of families out there have political arguments just like in the new “Roseanne” show. It’s like in real life, ya know? That’s what I liked about the show. I think the goal with the new show is that it wanted to try and bring liberals and conservatives together. Ya know, the show was about unity the way I saw it.

Some may think that the new “Roseanne” show was aimed directly to a conservative audience but not really. The show is for liberals too. There were both conservative views and liberal views in the new show. It had everything: pussy hats, Nasty woman, abortion, gun rights, freedom of speech, transgender, homosexuality, etc. I’m sure we’ll get even deeper in politics in the upcoming episodes. This was only the beginning.

With that being said, I was very impressed with the show. Finally a show on TV that I can actually watch ’cause I don’t watch much TV hardly at all. Most of my TV watching is on Netflix and WWE Network. I play video games and watch movies most of the time too so I don’t watch much cable TV.

I thought it was a really good show and I plan to watch every Tuesday night until the Season finale. I’m sure the season premiere of “Roseanne” did very well in the ratings. I predict the ratings did really big so we’ll wait until the rating numbers come in.

Kev

I didn’t watch the Oscars last night like most… but they only did 4 things right…

Yep, like most people I skipped the Oscars last night just like I did last year. It’s a shame ’cause I used to enjoy the Oscars, but they seem to be getting worse each year. Yeah, The Oscars going political is a major problem, but that’s not the only problem with the Oscars. They have more problems like their nominations are always terrible every year and this year is the worst with their nominations! The only films I saw out of the nominations for “Best Picture” this year were: “Dunkirk”, “Get Out” and “Lady Bird”. The rest of ’em I haven’t even seen. The only other movie I want to see out of the Best Picture nominations is the film “Darkest Hour”. That’s another film that interests me and I want to see it. I’m planning to pick up the BluRay for “Darkest Hour” when I hit Best Buy this week.

With that being said, the Oscars did 4 things right when giving away awards last night. I was happy when the Oscars gave Gary Oldman his first award. Surprisingly enough, Gary Oldman never won an Oscar before until now. That man is a very talented actor. He’s one of the best and I’m glad he finally got an Oscar. That was long over due. Jordan Peele winning the Oscar for “Best Original ScreenPlay” on the “Get Out” movie was the right move ’cause the writing for that movie was really good. “Get Out” was a really good movie except the only thing I didn’t like about it was all the Obama worship but what do you expect from liberal Hollywood, hey? Other than that, “Get Out” was a great psychological horror film. I actually liked it a lot and watched it a couple of times. The other two things the Academy got right was giving awards to Blade Runner: 2049 for “Best Cinematography” and “Best Visual Effects”. These were the things that the Oscars got right last night, but all the other awards given last night were terrible.

It doesn’t surprise me that the TV ratings for this year’s Oscars are at an all time low. The Oscars were down 16% from last year’s Oscars. The Oscars get worse every year ’cause of the liberal propaganda and bad shows. Bad nomination choices is another factor of why the ratings are so low. Again, I used to love the Oscars, but Hollywood is going downhill pretty fast. It’s a shame ’cause I am a huge movie buff as you all know. I love watching movies ’cause it’s one of my favorite hobbies.

I’m glad I didn’t watch last night. I too had no interest in Hollywood lecturing us how much they despise Trump and ramming their liberal propaganda down our throats. I’m fed up with all that too. When will they learn that politics and entertainment don’t mix? Instead, I watched the movie “Casino” w/ Robert De Niro on Netflix which was even better. Fuck the Oscars. I’m completely done with award shows. I don’t watch any of them anymore.

Kev

Tim Allen takes to twitter to speak out his feelings on getting fired by ABC and he’s not happy about it…

We all know the real reason why Tim Allen was fired off ABC. Simply because Tim Allen went on Jimmy Kimmel to talk about what it’s like being conservative in Hollywood and he said it’s like being in 1930’s Germany. Meaning he just exposed how one-sided liberal Hollywood is. Well that angered ABC so they got rid of him and his show “Last Man Standing” which is a sitcom that he stars in.

ABC responds and their reasoning is different, they said the reason for the cancellation is that they don’t want to do comedies anymore on Friday nights. What?

ABC defends ‘Last Man Standing’ cancellation

We know ABC is lying about the reason they fired Tim Allen. They fired him ’cause he’s conservative and a Trump supporter. If they didn’t want comedies on Friday nights they could have simply moved “Last Man Standing” to a different night, ya know? Instead, they canned the whole show. So that’s a sign right there they definitely have a negative grudge against Tim Allen.

Sad. ABC has been Tim Allen’s home for years as his hit show “Home Improvement” was aired on that show during the 90’s. Not only our news media is corrupt to the core, our entertainment industry is corrupt to the core as well. Kind of strange that ABC would get rid of “Last Man Standing” and then they greenlight the “Roseanne” revival show. Keep in mind, Roseanne Barr is a conservative and she’s a Trump supporter too.

Ah well, I don’t see “Last Man Standing” ending for good. It’ll probably get a new network. Maybe Netflix will pick it up.

Tim Allen is a talented man. I’ve been watching him through sitcoms and big screen movies for most of my life.
