That’s Sly’s wife Jennifer Flavin. She’s into fitness and working out just like her man, can you tell?
Sly certainly doesn’t want an aging woman when he’s 63 now, can’t blame him.

Over the years in Sly’s career, he has made some mistakes choosing roles, and the man even admitted that his film career almost failed plenty of times. It’s a good thing, he brought back “Rocky” and “Rambo” to bring his career back on track. With the “Expendables” coming out soon, that movie will be even bigger.
Here are five films that I wish Sly would have done with him in the leading role:
1. Taken
(Liam Neeson was great and he delivered the movie, but an action movie like this would have been perfect for Sly…I can definitely see Sly in the leading role in this)
2. Death Sentence
(An action thriller that starred Kevin Bacon, about the revenge of his murdered son. Sly would have been great in this one too…)
3. The Wrestler
(Mickey Rourke, was great in this, don’t get me wrong, but I think Sly would have perfected the movie. Darren Aronofsky wanted Sly for this but Sly was too busy working on the new “Rocky” and “Rambo” at the time…Sly played in a movie about wrestling before, it was his directorial debut, “Paradise Alley”…)
4. Tarantino’s “Death Proof”
(Man, I can see Sly playing Kurt Russell’s villain character, Stuntman Mike, in this flick. Russell was a badass in this flick, but Sly would have made an even more badass if he was in this)
5. American Gangster
(The mobster movie that starred Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. Russell was okay in this movie, but I can definitely see Sly Stallone in this flick instead of Russell Crowe. I’ve always wanted to see Sly and Denzel in a movie together, maybe one day it will actually happen)

Tim Burton will be making a special appearance, live in person, at the San Diego Comic Con next week to present a semi trailer for “Alice In Wonderland”. He never appeared at these Comic Con conventions before, this will be his first time.
Burton also breaks the news that he is planning a sequel to “Alice In Wonderland” as to follow Lewis Carroll’s series of the Alice adventures.
Once Burton is at San Diego Comic Con next week, expect bootleg versions of “Alice In Wonderland” footage to hit youtube very quickly.
No word if Johnny Depp will go with Burton at the Comic Con appearance, but who knows. These Comic Con events are always unpredictable and they are always giving out surprises, so maybe Burton will surprise us by inviting Johnny with him. Cross our fingers?
MTV Movies Blog reports:
Very cool. Tim Burton is the man, one of my favorite directors. I’m really looking forward to his take on the world’s famous “Alice” story.

If there is any other UFC Fighter that I could see take the title away from Brock, I think Dana should bring back the Iceman Chuck Liddell for another match. I don’t think Chuck and Brock ever fought in the Octagon before. If they already did, then my bad.
Brock vs. The Iceman would have been a good match though.
I’m sure Dana will let Chuck Liddell go for a comeback at some point, but maybe not this soon.
Chuck Liddell is not yet officially retired from MMA/UFC. He has one more match on his contract. The man said so himself. I think he should save that last match against Brock for the Heavyweight title.
More on it here:

Chuck Liddell was one of the reasons I started watching UFC, he’s been a favorite fighter of mine for a long time too.
During his time away from UFC, he’s been training other fighters and training himself as well to keep himself busy.
I’m sure the Iceman will come back to UFC to fight another match, down the road. Just not this soon. I don’t see Chuck being gone for good.
If Randy Couture came out of retirement and took the Heavyweight title, Chuck can do the same.

Sorry about the word “bitch” in the title of this thread but I’m really starting to dislike Madonna very much, that I had to put it there. Two people has died at the stage collapse in France, and she claims she’s devastated and heartbroken about it.
More on it here:
http://www.nme.com/news/madonna/46156#comments
In the video below, Madonna pays tribute to the people that died. I don’t see how she’s devastated and heartbroken at all. If she really was, then she would have postponed those tour dates to help mourn with those families of those two dead people, but nope, she doesn’t do that. She’s all about herself and her music.
Why does Michael Jackson die and she’s still around?

I’ve been buying the new games I wanted for the Ps3, and so far, I have a total of 21 games in my collection, and counting!
Here are top 5 video games I’m looking forward to that are coming out this year…
1. Batman: Arkham Asylum
(The new Batman: Arkham Asylum, video game comes out August 25th, which I will probably pick up on that day. A game I can’t wait to play, looks awesome…finally a new Batman video game, WOOT)
2. God Of War III
(The new installment to the Greek mythology series with Kratos and a new adventure, this game hits video game stores December 31st, on New Year’s Eve, actually)
3. Wolfenstein
(The new Wolfenstein first person shooter game, hits stores on August 18th, another game I can’t wait to get!)
4. Bioshock 2
(The sequel to the best first person shooter ever made, this game comes out November 3rd of this year)
5. Red Dead Redemption
(Another Wild West, cowboy action/adventure game… this game is supposed to be very similar to the Grand Theft Auto series, of course it’s created and made by Rockstar, the same company. Not sure when this game comes out, but it’s supposed to be out in the Fall of this year. This game is supposed to have never ending sandbox gameplay like Grand Theft Auto, looking forward to this one…)

Madonna’s stage in France that collapsed killing one man and injuring several others…hmmm…it would have been great if Madge was on that stage too, right?
I never had anything against Michael Jackson since I’m a fan of his, but I do have something against Madonna.

So Kevin Cogill the “Chinese Democracy” leaker, got some probation time and house arrest for leaking some of the new songs on his blog. In other music blogs and message forums, readers are calling Axl Rose a prick for this. Most readers are on Kevin Cogill’s side. Thinking there is freedom of speech and the 1st amendment, that Kevin Cogill had all the right to do this.
Correction: You’re wrong.
If you read the back of the album covers, take any CD. Look at the back of it, there you’ll see a huge “FBI Piracy Warning”…under it will say “”Unauthorized copying is punishable by Federal law”. Get the hint of the word Federal. This is why Kevin was sent to a Federal trial because he broke a Federal law by uploading unreleased tracks to his blog without Axl Rose’s unauthorized permission and consent.
You must understand copyright infrigement and piracy.
Is Axl a dick for this? I certainly think he is for sure, but if you use a little common sense…this is Axl Rose’s right to do this. Axl is in the right. It’s his copyrighted music. If he created it, and it is copyritten/trademarked. Axl has the right to force legal action.
People out there have to learn that it is not okay to take people’s music without unauthorized permission. That’s what Kevin Cogill did, he needs to suffer consequences for it by Federal Law. Kevin didn’t think it was illegal, now he knows.
Whether you like “Chinese Democracy” or not, Kevin didn’t have the right to upload those tracks before the album’s release date. It is stealing.
Respect the artist’s music that they own. People don’t understand copyright and don’t understand how it works, that’s why they are all shitting on Axl for it. I’m on Axl’s side for this because if my music was stolen without my unauthorized permission, I would force legal action myself. No musician or band likes getting their music stolen so some internet blogger can release it early. Respect the copyright and respect the trademarks of an artists work.
Kevin Cogill certainly got what he deserved.

Some of you out there may hate Brock Lesnar. If you really think about it, if Brock Lesnar never had his run at WWE, then no one would know who he was. He wouldn’t have gotten signed to MMA/UFC, if he never joined the WWE in the past. Brock is actually a smart dude for that.
Although WWE is fake wrestling and performing, the only reason I think Brock joined the WWE was to help get his name out in the mainstream. Before Brock joined WWE, no one knew who the man was.
Like it or not, I think Brock Lesnar will be the first UFC star to be an undefeated Heavyweight champion for a VERY long time. You may think that bigger guys than Brock can take him out and get the title from him, but you can’t assume that either.
UFC fans wants a Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko match for the Heavyweight title. Fedor the 7 foot Russian fighter. Everybody thinks that Fedor can take Brock out easily.
Ya know, if you think about it, just because Fedor is much bigger than Brock still doesn’t mean that Brock can’t take Fedor out. Brock has a very good chance in destroying Fedor pretty easily as well, so don’t get your hopes up that Brock could lose to him.
No matter how tall or how big a fighter is than the other opponent, the other opponent still can take him out.
How is this possible? Well…knowing how quick and how much speed and strength Lesnar has, this is how easy Lesnar can take a tall guy out quickly. I don’t know how Fedor fights in the ring since I never seen him before, but Brock will not back down on this guy either. Brock will do whatever it takes to win no matter how much bigger of a guy the opponent is.
If you think Fedor can definitely take Brock out, then you need a reality check. Brock has fought bigger guys than him before outside of the WWE. It may be difficult for Brock to give Fedor a take down in the Octagon, but if Brock trains hard enough I’m sure Brock can beat Fedor with no problemo.
On top of that, I don’t want Brock to lose the title to a Russian fighter. Brock is an American and I would want an American fighter to hold the title. Title belongs to Brock. I don’t think anybody can take it from him.

So, “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” will be out this week. Will I go see it?
No.
Why? Not only that I think that Harry Potter is the most overrated novel/movie franchise in the history of entertainment, I just think the stories don’t do anything to me, they don’t grab my attention, and I don’t see anything special about ’em. The truth is, I just can’t get into this whole Wizard thing. It’s not really my type of storytelling
I like stories that are much more darker, which is one reason why I love the “Twilight” series more.
Both Harry Potter and Twilight have a few things in common. Both franchises were created by women, J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer. Both have a huge amount of mainstream popularity. Both have a huge following of tweeny girls mostly.
As you can see, I’m no Harry Potter fan at all. I find J.K.’s stories boring. Stephenie makes her “Twilight” series more entertaining.
What is so entertaining about a couple of children becoming wizards to learn magic and go on these silly adventures that mean nothing?
I think “Twilight” is better stuff, because Stephenie make her storytelling more insightful and more detailed than J.K. Rowling’s. The “Twilight” series has more stories to tell than just a girl falling in love with a vamp. The “Twilight” series is easy targeted, the series get made fun of because of it’s tween content…when the funny thing is, “Harry Potter” is pretty much the same exact thing.
I have no interest in Harry Potter whatsoever. Tried reading the first book, couldn’t get into it. Tried seeing the first couple of movies, didn’t like ’em.
When Stephenie Meyer brought us, “Twilight”, I was impressed that Stephenie is trying to compete with J.K. The truth is, “Twilight” is bigger and more successful than “Harry Potter”.
Just wait until “Twilight: New Moon” comes out in theaters, it will destroy, “Half Blood Prince” in the box office.
Stephenie Meyer likes to make her stories more realistic and fun as if they were happening for real. Stephenie likes to explain in detail how people become vampires and werewolves, while Harry Potter doesn’t explain anything.
J.K. is overrated, pure and simple. I admire Stephenie’s work immensely. Those who make fun of Stephenie’s work because of her teen vampire views is a stupid idiot, in my opinion. I admire Stephenie’s way of trying to bring horror fiction for young kids. Of course, both Stephenie and J.K.’s work can be for people off all ages, not just for teen girls.
Sure, I get made fun of for liking the “Twilight” series, but I don’t care what anyone thinks. I enjoy whatever grabs my attention no matter what age audience the stories are aimed at.
