BREAKING NEWS: Anne Pressly, KATV news reporter who cameo’ed in the movie “W.” is dead…

NO! NO! NO! This is JUST UNREAL!

More heartbreaking and sad news that the woman who cameo’ed in Oliver Stone’s movie “W.” that was found unresponsive in her bedroom has died later in the hospital. She was 26 years old.

Now that Anne is dead, this is now obviously considered a murder.

Lets hope they catch those creeps that did this to her. This is a sad weekend of reading the news. First comes Jennifer Hudrson’s family members being murdered, and now Anne Pressly. RIP Anne, justice will be served!

The “Saw” series….overrated and boring…

Why do people enjoy these “Saw” movies so much? To me, I find them to be overrated and boring. I only saw the first two, and I’m like, “Meh, that’s enough Saw movies for me”. I won’t even see III, IV or V. It’s not that I’m scared. It’s not that I get grossed out or start to puke over blood and guts scene ’cause I very much enjoy that stuff.

I enjoy horror films. It’s one of my favorite genres to pay attention to. I FUCKING LOVE THE HORROR GENRE. I’ve been into the horror genre for years, pretty much ever since I was a child believe it or not. I enjoy scary and dark things. It’s what pumps me up and gets my mind going.

Many would think the “Saw” series is getting just as popular as Friday the 13th, Halloween and the Nightmare on Elm St. series. Well to  tell you the truth, the “Saw” series is not even in Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers and Freddy’s league. The “Saw” series are all pretty much the same thing. Being trapped in some strange house with some guy trying to play this game with the group of kids trapped in. *yawn* You call that storytelling?

It’s understandable kids would enjoy the “Saw” films since they probably aren’t into the horror genre at all. There are way better horror films than “Saw”. If you look at my Top 20 horror films a few blogs back, I can name plenty of great horror films that I love.

I know a good horror movie when I see one and the “Saw” series aren’t good movies. I know a lot about the horror genre since I spent my life on it. When I was a kid, I’ve read all the Stephen King books, seen the Tales from the Crypt series on HBO back in the day, seen all kinds of R rated horror flicks when I was even underage as well.

There’s nothing special about the “Saw” series. It’s just bad storytelling, and bad acting as well. It ain’t even scary at all either. It is not an original story because these kids trapped in a house and trying to get out alive has been done over and over and over and over again so many times. The “Saw” movies were clearly made for the younger generation around the 20’s – 30’s age range. I just don’t get it. I don’t like the movies at all and there are better horror films out there.

The movie “Dead Silence” which is a horror film made by James Wan who is also the creator of the “Saw” series, “Dead Silence” is a much better film than “Saw”. “Dead Silence” I would say is a creepy film and the story was very well written. I would reccomend “Dead Silence” if you haven’t seen it  yet.

Those that support the “Saw” series, just don’t understand what true horror is all about and they just go see the movies for popcorn “entertainment”. That’s what “Saw” is to me, a popcorn entertainment movie, not a horror film. I know what makes a good horror film and a good horror story. Those who actually do get scared by watching the “Saw” series are probably new to the horror genre.

Thoughts and prayers goes out to Jennifer Hudson…

Thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer and her family/friends. She’s gotta be in so much emotional pain right now. Her Mom and her brother is probably all she’s got other than her music/acting career. I’m a little upset over this news. We probably won’t hear from Jennifer Hudson about this for a long while because she just had two deaths in the family, people that were probably pretty close to her than anything.

Things were going so well in Jennifer’s life. She became successful in American Idol even though she didn’t win the competition, she got casted for the movie “Dreamgirls” which she won an Oscar for, she is soon to be married to her fiance, and all of a sudden her mom/brother is murdered? WTF!

The killer probably did this out of jealousy rage, he’s probably jealous of Jennifer’s fame. Reading TMZ, I read the suspect has been caught already and taken into custody. That’s good. We all know he’s the one.

Lets hope the little nephew is found alive and the sick son of a bitch that did this be put on death row.

This is the worst news I’ve read all year long. Jennifer has the public’s love and support.

Cool Video: Clint Eastwood’s “Gran Torino” trailer is already on the nets!!!

Oh my, look like Clint Eastwood is finished with “Gran Torino” film this soon. The man works fast doesn’t he? He sure does.

Welcome back to the leading roles Clint!!! It’s great to see Clint playing the leading role again after all these years.

As usual Clint never dissapoints in his films. “Gran Torino” looks absolutely amazing and I’m definitely seeing this. Clint is one bad ass dude you don’t want to mess with in this movie. Check it out.

Is Clint hungry for a “Best Male In a Leading Role” Oscar?

Report: EA’s “Army Of Two” video game coming to the big screen…

The popular video game “Army Of Two” made by Electronic Arts is getting a live action treatment to the big screen. Universal Pictures has acquired the rights with EA to make “Army of Two” into a live action picture. Scott Z. Burns will write the script, he previously co-wrote “The Bourne Ultimatum”.

“Army of Two” isn’t really a first person shooter it’s basically a war action adventure type of game.

I know about this video game, I’ve been looking at it everytime I visit Best Buy. It looks like a fun game, I won’t buy the game “Army of Two” yet, but maybe down the road sometime.

My next video game purchase will be “Dead Space”, I’m picking that game up next week.

BREAKING NEWS: Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother found murdered, nephew missing…

I am sad to report this shocking news about tragedy with former American Idol star and the star of the movie “Dreamgirls”, Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother have been found dead in a home in Chicago on the South Side, Hudson’s 7 year old nephew is also reported missing.

Jennifer Hudson’s sister’s husband is being blamed for taking the nephew.

Read more on this horrible story here:

So sad. A tragedy. How do you like that? Jennifer Hudson makes her dreams come true with music and acting in movies, and this is what she gets?

My heart goes out to Jennifer Hudson although I’m not a fan of her music, but she deserves the support. Thank god, nothing happened to Jennifer Hudson herself and glad that she is still alive.

This is messed up. Not only that I think that her sister’s husband took the nephew, I also blame him for killing Jennifer’s mother and brother. Hope the cold blooded asshole is found and be put in prison fast.

Report: John Singleton pulls out of directing “The A-Team” remake…

“Boyz in The Hood” and “Shaft” director John Singleton has been confirmed and attached to directing “The A-Team” remake but has pulled out of directing the film because Twentieth Century Fox wanted more time to write the script, so they pushed “The A-Team” film back to 2010.

For the past year or so, Singleton seemed committed into directing “The A-Team” remake until now. Singleton had plot ideas that he wanted the film to not be a comedy at all but to be more like 80’s action movies. While there was no cast for “The A-Team” film, Singleton approached Woody Harrelson to play the role of Murdoch but Harrelson never confirmed the role. It has also been long rumoured that either Ice Cube or Tyrese Gibson will play B.A. Baracus.

Variety Reports:

That’s kind of too bad. I was rooting for Singleton to make the A-Team remake ’cause I think he’s the only director that can make a really good “A-Team” movie knowing what he did to the “Shaft” remake. Now that Singleton is out, I don’t want this film made at all.

“Dead Space” maybe my next game purchase for the PS3…

This game is a mix of horror/action/sci fi. It’s also a mix of a first person shooter and a regular adventure game with a storyline into it. There are other games I want to get for the Ps3 but once I saw the trailer for this game, I’ve been sold to this one.

I still haven’t beaten “Metal Gear Solid 4” yet, I just finally beat the first boss of that game, the Laughing Octopus, it was challenging and difficult boss to beat, but I took time and patience to figure out how to get past that Laughing Octopus character. “Metal Gear Solid 4” is a sweet game although I wish the game wasn’t so long with the storyline segments, that’s my only complaint.

I just hope “Dead Space” has more action than storyline.

While I do love to play a variety of genres in video games, I mostly like to play action adventure type of stuff. I do enjoy first person shooter vidoe games, I do enjoy sports games sometimes, I love any kind of car racing videogame like “Need For Speed” or “Midnight Club” or whatever. I enjoy fighting games such as Soul Calibur, Smackdown Vs. Raw, etc.

I enjoy action/adventure games the most because I do like the storytelling in some of them games, the action is a lot of fun and most importantly action/adventure games can get you thinking, when you’re walking around places trying to figure out clues and puzzles and stuff like that, it gets you thinking and learning. Action/adventure video games can be insightful.

If I had the skills, I could go to college to learn animation for video games, that would be a cool career for me to have, work for the video gaming industry. I’m a storyteller in fiction, and I could come up with a lot of great story ideas for original video games.
