BREAKING NEWS: The real reason for William Regal firing on last night’s WWE RAW…

For those who watched last night’s RAW and seen how UK wrestler William Regal  (real name: Darren Matthews) lost a match against wrestler Mr. Kennedy, it was Mr. Kennedy vs. William Regal in a “career firing match” that Mr. McMahon forced them into, if the loser wins, you’re fired. William Regal lost the match and been fired from WWE storywise. Now that’s just a storyline.

The real reason behind this is that William Regal has been suspended from WWE for 60 days in “real life”. It was his 2nd time being caught with drugs, the WWE spokesperson Jennifer McIntosh, refuses to say what drugs they were. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were ‘roids or HGH.

Matthews (or Regal) faces a 30 day suspension without pay for a first violation, and a 60 day for second, if he gets caught again for a third time, he’s fired from the company for real. Performers are tested 4 times a year.

WWE made the wellness policy more strict ever since the Chris Benoit tragedy in 2007. It’s a good thing WWE is finally taking action on these wrestlers! We don’t want anymore wrestlers dying!

We will see a new RAW General Manager soon. I have a feeling it is going to be Stone Cold Steve Austin the new RAW GM, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it was.

I do prefer Eric Bischoff coming back more than Stone Cold though. I thought Bischoff made the best RAW GM out of them all.

Could Ric Flair come back as a RAW GM once again after retiring as a wrestler? Just a thought…

Thought: “The Office” season finale…hilarious…

Over the weekend, I finally got around to watching the 1 hour season finale to “The Office” that I recorded on my DVR, and I would say it’s the best episode all year long. I enjoyed this year’s season.

No, Jim did not yet propose to his co-worker girlfriend Pam, he was about to but put the ring back in his pocket to save it another time. Maybe Jim and Pam will get hitched next season. Toby Flenderson leaves his job as he gets a replacement with some woman that the office boss, Michael doesn’t like at first but then begins to have a romantic interest in her later in the episode. Michael’s romantic interest in her cuts short when he runs into his former pregnant girlfriend at a local grocery store.

The show ends with previews and clips of “Get Smart” which stars Steve Carrell in the leading role of the film. “Get Smart” is an action comedy crime type of film that also stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. “Get Smart” is a remake of a 1965 film directed by Mel Brooks.

I’m a huge fan of “The Office”, I’ve been watching the show since the show started, Steve Carrell is awesome and so are the characters in “The Office”. I also like Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson, those two are also my favorite actors on the show.

I’ll be looking forward to next season when the show comes back next year!

Report: Bryan Dattilo returns to “Days of Our Lives”…

Actor and soap star Bryan Dattilo is back on “Days Of Our Lives” playing his longtime role of Lucas Roberts. He wasn’t fired, he didn’t quit, and he wasn’t suspended for any reason. The film crew for “Days” forced Bryan to take a break from the show due to a storyline where Lucas goes to prison for shooting EJ Wells in the back at Sami and EJ’s wedding. In a recent storyline, EJ Wells forgave Lucas for his mistake and willing to get him out of prison to make Sami happy. It’s all about the storyline with Bryan’s break from the show, the film crew had nothing against him.

It’s good to see Bryan back from a 4 month break and the show will now get interesting.

Report: Kenny Chesney writes open letter to fans on his official website…

If you go to http://www.kennychesney.com/ , Kenny Chesney the man himself wrote this on his website:

“Dear Friends…

I want to thank each of you personally for your part in this 4th Entertainer of the Year Award… You are not just the reason we do this, you are a lot of what makes us Entertainer of the Year. Beyond even your votes – which were critical – but the way you inspire me and the guys. We are more because you give so much… and I want to make sure you know how much I appreciate you, and how much a part of this you guys are.

Just hearing the sounds from the parking lot when everyone’s out grilling and hanging with their friends makes me wanna get out there and rock. To be part of that kind of a good time is the reason I started going to shows, and it’s absolutely why I live to do this.

Which is part of the confusion over my response to the change in the awards criteria. There’s a lot more to being Entertainer of the Year than what we show you… and that’s because I want the music to just be your music, your songs, your life – the way it was for me. I’ve always been a bit uncomfortable with the amount of information that gets out there about how many trucks, how we do the effects, those sorts of things… because I don’t want it to be about semis, I want what we do to be about that moment when you hear the music and we hear you.

To me, Entertainer of the Year is about the work that goes into it. I don’t ever want you worrying about the work; I want you living the songs… being in the moment of the music… finding your life on the radio, whether it’s something easy like “Summertime” or a song that helps you through a rough time like “I Go Back” or “There Goes My Life.”

That was my point. Let the people who do the work, judge the work part of it… let the fans love what we do for that. And that was what I was being asked about… what a lot of people in the business were talking about… and frankly something an awful lot of artists and business people have told me they not only agree with, but something the entire media room applauded pretty resoundingly after I addressed it Sunday night.

Sure, to make me sound ungrateful is a sexy way to spin this to drive viewers. It’s controversy, and that sells. But realistically – and based on the response in our fan forum – you know how important you are to me, how much I believe in the way we’ve all built this together. You, the fans, are the reason I keep pushing, keep striving, keep wanting to be more and better.

When I stood on the stage and said “this means the world to me,” I meant it… because it means not only am I blessed with the best fans in the world, but you guys were willing to stand up for us and be counted. It’s not the same award… given for the same things… but knowing how much you care, how much you believe in this dream, well, that is everything.

So please know… I love you. I believe in you – and the way you believe in this music, these nights we get to share, the way it all comes together when we’re together. There is nothing like the feeling of being out there with you guys… and I live my whole life just for those moments. Thank you for that, because in the end, that is what matters the most to me.”

Yo Kenny, I think this is a sign that you should drop off major labels and go indie. Trisha Yearwood already did it last year. The national media is all about controversy in the news because it’s what picks up TV ratings and more hits on the websites. They could give a rats ass about the music, people love controversy.

Kenny wasn’t putting down the fans, he’s putting the blame on the media.

Kenny’s comments about this award thing shouldn’t even be news and you can see that Kenny called out on that in his letter here.

As long as you’re a hot music star at the top of your prime, the media will make news on just about anything on you no matter what it is. Thanks for the internet who feeds in on all that.

Report: Eastwood says no to returning as Dirty Harry…

Those who think Clint Eastwood will be reprising his legendary action hero character Dirty Harry, think again. Dirty Harry Eastwood himself says “NO” to it, when asked about it at Cannes when he was at the “Changeling” premiere. So don’t expect Dirty Harry to return to the big screen anytime soon.

The Associated Press reports:

I think Eastwood is lying, trying to keep surprises underwraps. Dirty Harry will come back, trust me.

Report: “Highlander” remake greenlighted…

Summit Entertainment studios had just greenlighted to remake the first original “Highlander” film which was made back in 1986. The original “Highlander” film starred Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. They are not only re-making the first one, they plan to start the series all over again with a clean slate and to hopefully make them better films. Summit has signed the writers from the movie “Iron Man” to write the “Highlander” remake and they want the original “Highlander” producer of the original film to produce the new version.

Since the earlier “Highlander” films and TV spinoffs were flops, Summit studios hopes to bring the “Highlander” series back with a high note by making the series successful this time around.

No director and no cast has been signed to the remake as of this moment.

Hmmmm, will they get Christopher Lambert back as Connor Macleod? I hope so. I actually love the 4 Highlander films as a matter of fact, I’m a huge fan of those movies.
