I practice my balancing every day and it improves little by little…

Ever since I first started Yoga, I’ve noticed that my balance is really bad. I really need to get good at balancing. Be able to stand on one leg for a long period of time. Be able to stand on one leg both the left and the right leg. I really need to get good at that. Ever since I started Yoga, I’ve been practicing my balancing skills ever since. Each time I do that, I notice a slight improvement each time. I guess it takes strength and getting used to in order to get good at balancing.

Balancing is important in life ’cause it can help improve the way you walk, the way you stand and all that stuff. If you want to get into other sporting activities like martial arts or boxing, balancing will help you get good at that stuff. Also as you age and get older, you won’t fall a lot and will be able to walk without a walker. Being good at balancing will help you with pretty much anything in life. If you wanna become a dancer, balancing is important for that. There are too many reasons why balancing is important and I really need to get good at that.

Thanks to my Yoga instructor, she gave me a really good balancing practice tip that is really helping so I could get good at balancing in about a month or two… we’ll see.

I would like to learn how to dance to music better but in order to do that, I must have a flexible body and be good at balancing. Why do you think all those pro dancers are good at what they do?

Balance is good for ya too. I vow to get good at that sometime in the future and I will be a success.

More on Yoga… I’m definitely gonna stick with it, I think… I really need it…

So I had my second Yoga session at the Y last night and it was a lot of fun. I’m really enjoying Yoga, I really am. So I think I’m gonna stick with Yoga. LIke I said before, I’m gonna suck at it for a while at first ’cause I’m not that flexible and not good with balance. I’m a beginner at it so it’s gonna take me a while to improve. Even though I suck at Yoga, it doesn’t matter. Ya know, what Yoga does to ya is that it helps you relieve stress and makes you a happier & more energetic person. Yoga is really relaxing, it really is. Yoga will help clear your head and will help make you think. Yoga helps me feel like I’m a much much better person.

Yoga is really amazing, guys. If you’ve never tried it before, you must. It’s recommended. I’m not really good at balance at this time but after Yoga class at the Y last night, I stayed after class to have the Yoga instructor to teach me a practice technique where I can get good at balancing. She gave me a simple tip that really works. While I’m practicing my balancing on one leg skills, she gave me advice that I should stare at my foot that’s touching the floor the whole time. I was surprised of how that worked. She gave me that practice tip and I took it.

Yoga is very healthy for your body and for your mind. It’ll get you in shape pretty good. For now, I’m beginning to think to hell with weight lifting and I’ll probably stick with Yoga & Boxing ’cause both will get you in shape. Yoga & boxing will get you in better shape than lifting weights, in my opinion. I’ll never give up lifting weights but I’ll cut down some. I don’t want to do too much.

Another thing I love about Yoga classes is that it gives you an excuse to check out the hot women in the class. As I expected, I figured I would see hot women in the class ’cause you know how women love Yoga. Some of the women in that class has got smokin’ hot & well built bodies. As we were doing the poses, I can’t help myself but look over and check out the women doing the Yoga poses. I’m pretty much the only male student in that class, I think. Most of the Yoga students are women ’cause you know how popular Yoga is with women than men. Not a lot of men get into Yoga. Maybe it’s because women have more flexible bodies than men is why.

Anyway, Yoga is really awesome and feels really good. It may be tough at first but the more I keep at it, like I said before, I’ll become the Yoga master. It’s what I want, a flexible body ’cause I really need it. If you have a flexible body that will help you do a lot of things. Yoga is really good for your body for so many reasons.

Sooner or later, I’ll be doing a lot of cool Yoga poses that could impress and surprise a lot of people. I want to be able to do the Jean Claude Van Damme leg split someday. Whenever I am able to do that, it could make peoples jaw drop open. On a serious note, doing Yoga is not only to impress other people… it’s about impressing yourself. Improving your life, that’s what it’s about really.

I’m glad I got into it. Other people seems to be glad I got into it too.

Found this excellent youtube page that teaches you boxing…

While I’m taking boxing classes at the Y, I’m gonna teach myself boxing moves by learning from youtube instructional videos and I’ve already found a youtube channel that is great. This channel is pretty awesome and I’ve already learned a few things from this guy.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrYqUsxL8UbAbk6wP-9_tig

Some of you may ask, what am I getting into boxing for? Am I planning to step in a boxing ring to have my first boxing match someday? That will probably never happen. I’m never gonna box professionally. I’m just doing this for fun and it’s a new hobby of mine that I just discovered. Just want to do something different other than bodybuilding and lifting weights, ya know?

Pretty soon, I’m planning to buy my own heavy bag for home and maybe I should buy a speed bag too. Boxing is also great for your health and helps makes you feel good. I just want to learn how to fight just so I can defend myself just in case someone wants to pick a fight with me out there. Like I said before, I’m not for violence at all but if I’m hit first by someone, I’ll have no problem hitting back. I’m not trying to be a tough guy or anything. Just want something fun and something new to do is all!

I can see why the pros love to box professionally ’cause it is fun and addicting.

Here’s an idea what Yoga looks like for those who don’t know anything about it…

I’ve been trying to find stuff in youtube that could help me get better at balancing and this video kind of helped me a bit. If you want to know what Yoga is all about and don’t know anything about it, here is a sample of what a Yoga session would be like.

I really need to have a more flexible body. There’s a lot of posing and you must hold that position for a little bit which would be tough and tiring. Yoga may wear you out really fast but the more you keep at it, the easier it will get.

Yoga may look kind of boring to you but it’s not really. Once you get into it and try it out for the first time, you’ll find that you actually love it. I vow to stay committed to both boxing and yoga ’cause it’s what I need to improve my life. Yoga is probably the best fat burning exercise out there. It’ll help you get lower body fat and build more muscle at the same time. Yoga is enjoyable and feels real good.

So glad I discovered Yoga… I’ve been wanting to get into it for a long time!

So yeah, I’ve recently discovered Yoga finally and I’m actually pretty happy about that. Why have I been wanting to get into Yoga? Like I said previously, I want to become more flexible and be good at balance which is what I really need. I also want a new way to focus, clear my head and relieve stress ’cause Yoga will do all that. Plus, I also had a few people I know who recommended me to get into it.

I’m not that flexible at all and really need to have a more flexible body. I plan to stay committed to Yoga every week at the Y and at home. The more I stay committed and keep at it, the next thing you know, I’ll be able to bring my leg all the way up high behind my head. I’ll be able to do leg splits someday which is what I want to do. When I had my first Yoga session at the Y earlier this week, I’ve already learned some of those poses in the pic above. I sucked at them ’cause I’m not that flexible at all. I couldn’t do the balancing stick pose which is what I plan to work on. I couldn’t do the Triangle pose and couldn’t do the Eagle pose. I also couldn’t do the tree pose very well either ’cause I’m not good with balance at this time.

We did the Adho Mukha pose a lot but that’s one pose that I can do pretty good on although it was really tiring to hold that position for a pretty long time… the Adho Mukha pose looks something like this:

I may be struggling on a lot of stuff in Yoga ’cause I’m a beginner. It’ll take me some time to get better at Yoga. It will probably take me several months or a full year to get good at it. It might even take me a good couple of years.

I wish I discovered Yoga a long time ago but late is better than never. At my age which I’m almost 40 pretty soon, it’s a pretty good time to start now before I get too old anyway.

Yoga is awesome. So glad I got into it and I vow to keep at it. Yoga is very healthy too and will also get you in pretty good shape. You want to have a sexy looking body, Yoga will do that.

Just had my first Yoga session at the Y last night… tough but fun!

Well last night at the Y in Greenwich, I just had my first Yoga class session. For a long time now, I’ve been wanting to get into different styles of workouts. I’ve been wanting to get into boxing, martial arts and yoga. So at the Greenwich Y this week, I had two different classes for the first time. “Boxing Bootcamp” and “Yoga”. I loved both! So I’m planning to stay committed to both. I’m definitely gonna stay committed to both ’cause I want to get good at both boxing and yoga.

I’ve been looking at getting into Yoga for a long time and finally found a place where I could learn. Yeah, I’m a beginner at Yoga so I’m gonna suck for now. I’m not that flexible and can’t do balance very well either so I got a lot of work and practice to do. I want to be able to get more flexible and be good at balance. I think I need it. When I did Yoga last night at the Y, I did okay for a start but was struggling at a lot of poses ’cause why? Probably ’cause I’m not that flexible yet and not good with balance yet either. If I keep at it and practice before you know it, I’ll become a Yoga master soon enough!

There were several other people in the class and I was probably the only person in the class that was doing really bad. The other people in the class were way better than me. Why? Simply because the other people in the class are way more experienced than me. They’ve probably been doing yoga for a long ass time. Me? I got a long way to go. Yoga is fun. Challenging. Most importantly, yoga is probably the best stress reliever out there and yoga will help you relax too. Despite me sucking at Yoga for my first try, I couldn’t believe how relaxed I felt when it was all over. It was a pretty amazing feeling really. I can see why Yoga is getting pretty popular.

To learn Yoga, I thought about buying Yoga DVD’s and watching youtube channels that teaches Yoga but I think it be better if I learn from an actual Yoga instructor. Since I’m a beginner at Yoga, the Yoga teacher gave me the advice that I need to listen to my body and do the poses that are best for me and not listen to her. Yeah, the Yoga instructor was a woman and she’s really nice looking too. She was real friendly as well ’cause I had a little chat with her after the session.

Yoga is awesome and I want to get better at it.

So since I’m getting myself into boxing and Yoga, I better cut down on the weightlifting some. I’ll still do weightlifting, I won’t give that up, never but I will cut down some ’cause I don’t want to do so much. Boxing bootcamp and Yoga will wear you out. Boxing and Yoga will both get you in pretty good shape soon enough. If you want to get into really good shape faster, boxing and yoga will do it.

I still want to be the best shape of my life. I want to improve my life and get better.

Someday though, I still want to get into martial arts, ya know, karate. I was given the advice by someone that I should start off with boxing first which sounds like a good idea. In boxing, I’ll never fight someone ’cause I don’t believe in violence but when some punk out there plans to beat me up well then okay, I’ll be game for kicking ass. I just want to learn how to defend myself just in case, ya know? Defend myself and other people.

I love boxing and Yoga. I just want to get into something different other than bodybuilding. Whenever I start getting good at Yoga, maybe I’ll film myself doing some Yoga poses for youtube or facebook or whatever.

Just had my first boxing class at the YMCA in Greenwich and it was great!!!

For the longest time now I’ve been trying find classes that could teach me to fight better whether it will be martial arts or boxing. So one day at the Y, I was looking at the classes calendar to see if I can find something. I saw something on the calendar that said “Boxing Bootcamp” which was on Monday nights at 6:30. So I had my first boxing class today. Learned a bunch of new workouts I never learned before. Did some bodyweight training, weight training and kettle bell stuff. Of course, I learned some basic boxing moves like jabbing and sideswiping. So I finally found fighting lessons where it won’t cost much. Classes at the YMCA are free with the monthly membership.

Yeah, I want to learn how to fight better. Just in case so I can defend myself if someone decides to try and beat me up when I’m out. Also, just want to get into boxing and fighting just to learn something new. Something different. Meet new people.

I really enjoyed it, though and definitely gonna start going every week. They don’t call it “Bootcamp” for nothing ’cause the workouts were really tough and tires you out fast. I’ll get better as time goes along. I got to get better at jump roping too. Not bad for someone who is almost 40. I’m gonna be 40 in December.

Anyway, it was a fun time tonight. I’m also thinking about getting into Yoga classes at the Y this week so I’m planning to go back to the Y again tomorrow to get another look at the calendar to see when’s the next Yoga class is. I want to learn Yoga so I can stretch, relax and become more flexible. Yoga can help the boxing training too. When I join the Yoga classes, there’s probably gonna be a lot of women ’cause women love Yoga.

I gotta stop being lazy ’cause I’ll admit, I’ve been doing the workout thing on and off lately. Gotta get back into it full time and I will. I want to improve my life.

Amy Schumer topless photo is just more of that ridiculous, “don’t fat shame me” crap… *yawn*

*sigh*

I’m real tired of this crap. All this “don’t fat shame me” stuff that’s been going on around celebrity women these days. All of this, “I’m so beautiful and I feel so confident that I can show off” crap has gone too far. I get the point and get the goal of what she’s trying to do but it’s silly. Whatever it takes to sell a calendar, ya know what I mean? And whatever it takes to get more attention.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/11/30/amy-schumer-poses-nude-the-radical-power-of-her-beautiful-gross-photo.html

All that flab and body fat is not healthy. It’s real sad that the media tries to get us to accept that. Looks like this is another dumb liberal thing we have to get forced to accept: gay marriage, Islam and now people with weight issues.

People with weight problems can’t accept the fact that they did that to themselves and they can’t take the truth. If you don’t eat good and don’t exercise, you’ll look like that.

Video: Do women really wanna be bothered at the gym? It’s not true, don’t listen to the lies out there!

I’d say if you see a pretty girl you think you might like at a gym, don’t be afraid to chat her up.

There’s a myth going around out there that “women don’t like to be bothered” at public gyms which isn’t true at all, really.

Each time I go to the Y, I see guys chatting it up with the girls there all the time so it isn’t a big deal at all.

Don’t listen to people who claim they don’t wanna be bothered ’cause they’re all full of it, really.

Kev

Here we go… *sigh* Nicole Arbour fired from film she was working on over her “Dear Fat People” video…

First we have to get forced to accept gay-marriage. Then we have to get forced to accept transgender people. Here’s the new thing that we have to get forced to accept… we now have to get forced to accept people who are overweight & obesed.

http://www.people.com/article/nicole-arbour-fired-movie-job-after-fat-shaming-video

It’s real funny that people are real outraged over Nicole trying to bring up that obesity is a huge problem in this country and other countries as well. People have been talking about that obesity is a huge problem for years. A lot of people in the fitness community have been talking about it but they never got any outrage.

Scooby1961, the popular bodybuilding youtube channel has been all over obesity in America for many years but he never got any media outrage. He’s been criticizing obesed people on his channel for a long time now. Scoob was never afraid to tell it like it is.

Obesity in this world is nothing new so why are people mad at the truth now?

I’m in total agreement with Ms. Arbour that this “fat acceptance” movement is silly and dumb. She did nothing wrong. Spoke the truth but unfortunately speaking the truth is the new hate speech these days.
