Thought: My thoughts on each draft pick on last night’s 3 hour RAW…

Here is my thoughts on each WWE superstar that were drafted on last night’s 3 hour RAW special, this is the official drafted superstars list that happened last night:

Rey Mysterio (drafted from Smackdown to RAW): I prefer Rey Mysterio on the ECW roster. ECW roster is in need of more star power and Rey Mysterio has that for ECW. Rey would get more of a crowd reaction on ECW than RAW. I don’t agree with Rey Mysterio being on RAW.

Jeff Hardy (from RAW to Smackdown): I got all excited when Jeff Hardy got drafted to Smackdown ’cause I thought we’re going to see an official Hardy Boys tag team reunion. I agree with Jeff Hardy being moved to Smackdown ’cause he deserves a major title run.

CM Punk (from ECW to RAW): Perfect choice, I think CM Punk got moved to RAW ’cause they are pushing him as a main event for him to get a major title run. CM Punk rules!

Matt Hardy (from Smackdown to ECW): Well, so much for the Hardy Boys reunion that we were all hoping to see. BOO!

Jim Ross gets drafted to Smackdown and Michael Cole gets drafted to RAW: While I’m gonna miss Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross being the announcers for RAW, I think Michael Cole deserves a shot at a bigger show. And I think Mick Foley and Jim Ross announcing Smackdown together will be gold! I like this draft pick. It’s something we’ll have to get used to for a while.

Batista (from Smackdown to RAW): Excellent choice! I’ve always wanted Batista to be back on RAW, he wasn’t doing good on Smackdown, he deserves to main event on RAW again.

Umaga (from RAW to Smackdown): Umaga, the Samoan Bulldozer is a fine performer and a talented wrestler in fact. I love the character. This character deserves more screen time and deserves a shot at the main event, RAW doesn’t work for Umaga, Smackdown does. Umaga on Smackdown would rule!

Kane (ECW to RAW): Since Kane is current ECW champion and while it doesn’t make sense that an ECW Champ has been moved to RAW, I like Kane being back on RAW. Kane is RAW, he belongs on the show. No where else. I like Kane and I’m glad he’s back on RAW finally.

Mr. Kennedy (RAW to Smackdown): Mr. Kennedy being moved to Smackdown is just great! More screen time for him and more title shots for Kennedy hopefully!

Triple H (RAW to Smackdown): I don’t like this idea. Who is Triple H is gonna feud with over in Smackdown? Edge? Undertaker? Who would want to see Triple H feud with the Undertaker again when those two has feuded many times in the past? I want Triple H on RAW still. Triple H being moved to Smackdown is a horrible idea like I already said a few posts down.

Report: More Vince McMahon controversy at the end of tonight’s RAW…

This could be the end of “Mr. McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania” folks. On tonight’s RAW, at the end of it, Vince McMahon sparked more controversy on his own self. Just after giving away half a million dollars after Triple H was announced he’s drafted to Smackdown, McMahon’s “Million Dollar Titantron” fell on top of him, and was taken out in a stretcher.

What will we get next? Is there a “Who attacked Vince McMahon on RAW ” storyline coming? Or will Vince fake his own attack again just like he faked his death in the blowing up the limo segment a year back? Who knows, Vince McMahon is indeed the king of all controversy in entertainment media.

I’m kind of dissapointed Triple H is getting moved to Smackdown. Looks like Edge will be getting drafted to RAW soon. Now all Triple H fans have to deal with Vicky Guerrero ruining his matches on Smackdown. What if Edge don’t get drafted at all and he stays on Smackdown, does that mean Smackdown will have two Champions? What will RAW have without a main event championship belt?

I’m betting my money Edge will get drafted to RAW. Since Triple H is my favorite, I’m going to have to start watching Smackdown now although I have to put up with Vicky Guerrero’s annoying mic skills.

Report: The Ultimate Warrior returns to profesional wrestling after a 12 year hiatus…

On June 25th, the Ultimate Warrior, a legendary former WWE star will make his return to the Profesional wrestling ring after a 12 long year absence. The Ultimate Warrior will have a match against a wrestler named Orlando Jordan (who is also a former WWE wrestler), it will happen in Barcelona, Spain on June 25th.

Is the Ultimate Warrior actually is on his way back to the WWE? It could be possible because Warrior said before he does want back in WWE and said he wanted to have a match against Vince McMahon. I would like an Ultimate Warrior return to WWE, that be cool, Warrior feuding with guys like Triple H or Shawn Michaels would be great!

Report: WWE’s “Million Dollar Mania” winner speaks on winning check from Vince McMahon…

Another article proving that this WWE contest Vince McMahon’s “Million Dollar Mania” sweepstakes is the real deal. A winner named Will Frank won $51,998 that was written on a real personal check, not from the actual WWE company, but a real personal check by Vince McMahon the man himself. Will Frank used the money to pay late bills for his home and used it to buy an expensive car. He usually never enters contests to win money but he only did this one ’cause he is a longtime fan of WWE.

Vince will never go broke doing this, the dude’s a billionaire. Vince is one of the richest men in the world and this is proving it.

Cool Video: Hulk Hogan speaks on Larry King…

Here is the entire interview of wrestling pioneer Hulk Hogan on Larry King Live, he speaks about Nick being jailed for the crash that injured his best friend John Graziano. Hulk mostly defends his family on this show. I haven’t watched it all but will watch the rest of it when I get back home from work. 7 parts with the entire interview. Enjoy.

Report: RAW did 3.0 rating…

Last Monday’s RAW where Vince debuted his “1 Million Dollar Mania” contest only got a 3.0. rating. Ouch!

More on it here:

http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/wrestling/blog/2008/06/wwes_money_mania_is_ratings_bust.html

My question is why does that blogger find it a surprise? I don’t find it a surprise at all.

Vince has turned Monday Night RAW into a game show. Wrestling fans don’t want that. Leave the Million Dollar giveaways to Howie Mandel.

Report: McMahon spoils WWE fans like kids…

Here are the results of last night’s RAW with McMahon’s “$1 Million Dollar Mania” proving that this is the real deal, the people answering Vince’s phonecalls on last night’s show weren’t hired actors, they were real people like us winning real money from Vince, it’s real, indeed:

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,14203_3673010,00.html

Honestly, Vince doesn’t care about his fans or the wrestlers that perform the shows. He only cares about promoting his company…WWE, that’s it.

Fans at last night’s RAW were hating this “Million Dollar thing”, some of the audience were booing, chanting “Boring”, and chanting “We want Wrestling” everytime Vince came on stage to give out money to people sitting at home.

It kind of sucks for the people sitting in the arena witnessing Vince giving away money to people at home watching RAW.

This thing is gonna fail, just like Vince’s storyline where he fakes his death failed too.

Thought: 10 Wrestlers that need to return to WWE…

IGN compiled a list of “10 Wrestlers” they think should come back to the WWE. In my opinion it is a bad list.

See it here:

http://sports.ign.com/articles/879/879893p1.html

I disagree with most of them, but agree with a few of them. The ones that I do agree with that needs to return to WWE: Trish Stratus, Diamond Dallas Page, Tajiri, and Bret the Hitman Hart.

Here is my version of “Top Ten Wrestlers That Need to Come Back to WWE”

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin (we need the Rattlesnake back, dammit!)
  • The Rock (he claims he’s done with wrestling for good but I dont’ buy it for a second)
  • Mick Foley (he’s still performing in WWE, but I want the man wrestling again!)
  • Eric Bischoff (not really a wrestler but still a great performer)
  • Bobby Lashley (where has he been since the Vince vs. Donald Trump feud? Bobby Lashley would have been a great RAW main eventer if he stuck around)
  • Macho Man Randy Savage (everyone hates him, but this would create controversy if he returned, OOooohh yeeeaaaahhh…)
  • Kurt Angle (Kurt Angle is working for TNA now, but he needs to come back to WWE, he’s had a fallen out with Vince McMahon in real life which is why he left, but Kurt Angle the Olympic Gold medalist will return to WWE, I’m sure)
  • Christian (He’s working for TNA under the name of Christian Cage, he used to be Edge’s longtime tag team partner, Christian was great. I miss this guy in WWE. Christian needs to leave TNA and return to WWE)
  • Goldberg (His last WWE run with his feud with a heel Rock was great, that was the last time we saw Bill Goldberg, I would love it if he came back, he was a great performer)
  • Rikishi (Another Samoan wrestler who is the Rock’s real life cousin, I’d love to see Rikishi back, imagine Rikishi vs. Umaga, that be quite a fued)

There’s my list, hope you enjoy it.

EDIT TO ADD: Damn it! I forgot to add The Ultimate Warrior to this list! Oh man, how would I love to see the Ultimate Warrior back!! Fuck yeah, that be amazing!

Report: WWE.com created heavy traffic with Vince’s $1 million sweepstakes…

Over 650,000 fans have registered to Vince McMahon’s $1 million dollar sweepstakes. This thing keeps making the national news proving that Vince McMahon is serious about giving away his own money to WWE fans. It’s not fake, it’s no storyline, this is surely the real deal folks. The $1 million really is coming from Vince McMahon’s own money. Lets hope he don’t give away all of his money so he won’t go broke, lol.

The sweepstakes begin this Monday June 9th.

Read this interesting article for behind the scenes about this contest:

http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/mcmahons-million-dollar-mania-causes-largest-traffic-spikes-promotions-history/

Vince McMahon will do anything to promote WWE, even if it means giving out his own money to his own fans.

It is kind of cool though, it does pay to be a WWE devoted fan, I mean, you have to pay money to have cable TV to watch WWE, you have to buy PPV shows, and tickets to live shows, etc. So this is Vince’s way of giving the money back to the fans.

It shows that Vince actually cares for fans that support WWE. I’ve been a devoted WWE fan my entire life. I’ve always loved the wrestling business. I enjoy being part of the wrestling community.  We all know that wrestling is fake and scripted, we just watch it for the entertainment. And that’s what it’s all about! FOR FUN!!!

Report: Mr. McMahon is serious about giving out $1 million to WWE fans out of his own personal money…

I would say that Mr. McMahon is the true King of “Controversy”, like him or not. To prove to the world that Vince McMahon is not kidding when he says he wants to give away $1 million dollars to fans each week on RAW, him and the WWE company proves it to the Associated Press that this is no joke!

Vince speaks to the Associated Press about more details about this. It will be a sweepstakes kind of thing. Something similar to prizes you win from soda bottles where you look under the cap there is a code, and you have to type it up on the website to see if you win. WWE plans on doing that same thing.

In the beggining of RAW each week, a code will be on the screen that the viewers will receive, they will first have to register to WWE.com in order to take part of this so you can give them your phone number for the WWE company to contact you if you win the $1 million. My guess is that the code randomly draws and if they match your code, you win. Kind of like the contests you win from soda beverages.

This is McMahon’s way of saying “Thanks” to the fans who supported WWE over the years and his way of using this as a promotional tool for WWE to bring in new fans and bring the old ones back.

The Associated Press reports:

Go to WWE.com to take part:

Ummmm, no Mr. McMahon. This is not going to make the WWE popular again.

The way to make WWE popular and mainstream again is stop coming up with stupid storylines, bring back good wrestling, stop killing your own wrestlers with steroid use, stop making too much gimmicky charactersr in WWE, etc.

I’m not doing this contest ’cause I don’t want the WWE’s money. McMahon is an egomaniac in real life just like he is on TV.
