Confirmed: Conan O’ Brien returns to TV May 29th on the “Tonight Show” with Jay Leno…

While Conan O’ Brien is set to take over “The Tonight Show” on June 1st, I guess, Conan is now set to return to TV a little bit early. Conan will be a guest on “The Tonight Show” on Jay’s last day as host.

More on it here and I”m sure you can find plenty of other news stories on the web about it:

Looking forward to it!

Thought: “Late Night” with Jimmy Fallon so far…

I’ve been watching “Late Night” with Jimmy Fallon quite a lot, and I’m surprised, Jimmy is actually doing a great job. He’s entertaining. He has some great guests on the show that no other late night talk show would have. Jimmy also has musical guests on there that are not too well known as well. Plus, Jimmy having the Roots as his host band is really cool.

I still miss Conan O’ Brien, but Conan will be making his debut on “The Tonight Show” June 1st, so we will have to wait all the way to June 1st for the return of Conan on TV.

Jimmy is doing okay. He’s actually pretty funny and entertaining. I think Jimmy was hired for the job ’cause Lorne Michaels liked his work with SNL’s “Weekend Update”.

“Late Night” with Jimmy Fallon is not bad at all. I like the show.

Report: Andy Richter rejoins Conan O’ Brien for “The Tonight Show”…

Great to hear that Andy Richter and Conan are reuniting. I wonder how long Andy plans on staying with Conan for the next round?

Andy’s a funny guy.

I wonder whose Conan’s first celebrity guests will be when his first show will air in June? I’m sure there will be big name stars to help the ratings. We’ll find out soon.

Thought: “Late Night” with Conan O’ Brien, final show from last night thoughts?

Last night’s final “Late Night” show with Conan was a really good one. The show dragged on a little longer so Conan can do a long goodbye message doing all of these “thank you’s” and all that. Notice how in his goodbye message at the end of the show, there wasn’t one mention of Jimmy Fallon taking over his place soon? Weird. Conan was looking so nervous and emotional, he almost cried at the end of his speech, but then he lightened up quickly by saying something like, “taking over the Tonight Show will only get better”.

He had quite a career ride. Conan taking over Leno will not fail with ratings at all. This will only make Conan an even bigger of a star. A LOT more people will watch Conan now that he will be on an hour early soon.

I love Conan, been a longtime fan for years, I’ll be watching him on “The Tonight Show” when he makes his debut on that soon. I have no interest in watching Jimmy Fallon’s show. Unless, Jimmy Fallon has celebrities on his show that I’m a fan of, maybe I’ll watch it, but I’ll be watching Conan all the time still like I always had. It’s kind of sad that he will no longer be a New Yorker, but him moving to a different show is a huge opportunity for him, he will be more famous and big than ever.

Congrats to Conan, I’m happy for the guy. Usually I’m never this happy toward celebrities I don’t know about, but I am with Conan. He’s the fuckin’ man!

The White Stripes were really good too last night by the way. Jack and Meg are both looking great. The song they did was great.

Confirmed: The Max Weinberg 7 still going with Conan for new show…

Conan fans! To those worry about if Conan’s move to the “Tonight Show” will get Max Weinberg’s band and Conan seperated, that is NOT going to happen. On last night’s episode of Conan O’ Brien, Conan made it clear that each member of the Max Weinberg 7 band are moving to California permanently to still do the “Tonight Show” with Conan. So that’s great news to hear! I can’t see these two apart ’cause that would be weird.

More unsanswered questions that still need to be confirmed about Conan’s new show:

1) Will he still have Triumph the Insult Dog?

2) Will his jokes still be as funny on “The Late Show”, will he be forced to keep his jokes Jay Leno style when he moves to the “Tonight Show”? (I hope not, I’m sure he’ll still be the same old Conan he’s always been)

3) Will the “Tonight Show” still let Conan talk to impersonator Arnold on TV

So much more questions that still needs answers.

I’ve been watching Conan O’ Brien all week, every night. Only 2 more episodes left, tonight and tomorrow, that’s it. The White Stripes have been confirmed as the musical guest of the show for Friday’s last show.

Report: Conan O’ Brien almost done with the Late Show…

There has been many late night talk shows over the years. None of them have been funny and entertaining except for one who really is…that man, is Conan O’ Brien. In my honest opinion, he is the King of late night talk shows. Jay Leno has never been funny, Jimmy Kimmel has never been funny, Carson Daly has never been funny and Craig Ferguson is not even funny either. Conan O’ Brien is the man who knows how to make someone laugh out loud non stop, and he knows how to keep a smile on your face everytime you lay an eye on him. That’s how amazing of a man Conan O’ Brien truly is. The most entertaining late night talk show host since Johnny Carson, indeed.

After a 16 year long run on NBC late night, Conan is moving to California to take over “The Tonight Show”, to replace Jay Leno, which means America will get to see the most funniest man on TV an hour early. He maybe leaving “The Late Night Show” for good, but don’t worry folks, Conan is not dead and he won’t be leaving TV anytime soon.

As this article says, Conan’s been receiving goodbye gifts from famous rock stars, mostly gifts from legendary guitarists. Those who don’t know this, Conan is a musician, I believe he plays both electric and acoustic guitar, he sings too. Conan is also a drummer himself, I think.

Thanks for the entertainment over the years Conan, and we shall soon look forward to seeing you an hour early which will be awesome. We don’t have to stay up late just to watch him. I watch Conan every single night. One of my favorite shows on TV.

Report: NBC unveils “The Jay Leno Show”…

Since the shocking announcement that Jay Leno is staying put on NBC, the peacock station just revealed more details on the new show. The name of the show is simply titled “The Jay Leno Show”. Like I said in a post before, the show will be basically the same thing as “The Tonight Show”. Making jokes about current news, two celebrity interviews and a musical guest. Guitarist Kevin Eubanks and the rest of the “Tonight Show” band will stick with Leno as well.

When Conan makes the move to “The Tonight Show” replacing Leno, I wonder if Max Weinberg the drummer and his band will move along with Conan or will they stay put at Jimmy Fallon? I would hate to see Max Weinberg and Conan O’ Brien apart, it would be weird to see, and I hope NBC keeps them together even if Conan is moving to “The Tonight Show”.

Max Weinberg friggin rules, he’s funny as hell and plus he’s one badass drummer.

Report: Jay Leno out soon, Conan O’ Brien steps in next summer!!!

Jay Leno will end his 16 year career on “The Tonight Show” on May 29th of next year in 2009 will be his final episode. Conan O’ Brien takes over June 1st of next year.

Jay Leno announced that he is done with NBC completely, but NBC still feels that they are not ready to let Leno go yet. NBC wants him to do another show that is not late night TV related but it’s all up to Jay. Old reruns of the “Tonight Show” will air in between May 29th and June 1st until Jimmy Fallon takes over Conan in the Spring.

Sweet news. Good riddance to Jay too. I never liked Jay Leno at all. I can’t wait for Conan to be on an hour early next year! wOOt!

Report: Jimmy Fallon is close to being the official host of NBC’s “Late Night”…

Former Saturday Night Live star, Jimmy Fallon will soon be the official host for NBC’s “Late Night” replacing Conan O’ Brien when he leaves for Jay Leno very soon.

I am a fan of Jimmy Fallon, I like the dude, he’s funny, don’t get me wrong, but I have a feeling that “Late Night” on NBC ratings will drop. People are so used to seeing Conan being the host that they won’t care for the show anymore no matter who is hosting it.

It’s gonna be really weird seeing Jimmy Fallon making jokes with Max Weinberg the drummer and Conan O’ Brien making jokes with Kevin Eubanks the guitar player but this is something we’ll have to get used to for a long while. It’ll take Conan O’ Brien a while to get used to most definitely.

Don’t be surprised if Conan starts calling Kevin Eubanks by the name of Max by mistake because we all know that’s gonna happen. But I can’t wait for Jay Leno to leave.

Good fucking riddance to Jay. I never found Jay to be funny at all, his jokes are always too simple. Conan makes me laugh hard everytime I see him on TV, it’s gonna be awesome to see Conan earlier at night. Conan O’ Brien is the best late night talk show host, that man is hands down, a comic genius!
