Why Daniel Craig is done with Bond… he just simply had enough really…

Why is Daniel Craig done with Bond and stepping down? Well, he just simply had enough really. Doing a little reading and research on this on why he is stepping down and retiring the Bond character, well, he was gonna quit after “Spectre” but Sony talked him out of it and made him do one more so they can close out his series. News reports were speculating that he hated playing Bond but it turned out that he never hated playing the character, he was just getting too burned out and tired of it, ya know?

Think about it, the first Bond film that he starred in “Casino Royale” came out in 2006. It is now 2021 and he made 5 Bond movies so far. That’s about 15 years he’s been making Bond flicks so I would think that was how it would be a bit overwhelming for him. So it sounds like that’s what it is, he got too overwhelmed of the workload so he wants to get away from it and relax. Some speculated injuries is a reason… maybe that’s a small part of it but doubtful. He just got too burned out, period.

I also read somewhere that another reason he wants to move on that he wants to give someone else a chance. Passing the torch wasn’t Sony’s decision… it was Daniel himself that wanted Sony to give someone else a chance to play the iconic hero. He just felt his time was up.

Daniel probably just wants to move on to other film projects, ya know? He is a talented man and he’s done other good films too. He’s probably one of the best actors in Hollywood right now, I would say. I read somewhere that Daniel is slated to start filming “Knives Out 2” after Bond 25. I saw the first “Knives Out” movie and it was good, I liked it although the ending was predictable and I knew who the killer was all along, haha.

Anyhow, I was glad to get to see all 5 Daniel Craig Bond movies and once again, “Quantum of Solace” was the only bad one he did but I liked the other 4.

It’s gonna be interesting to see who Sony is gonna pick next and I already have a feeling on who it is ’cause the Bond replacement was already introduced in “No Time To Die”. Sony is gonna get that person. I don’t wanna say who it is as of this time ’cause it’s pretty huge. I’ll wait until Sony makes it official with the press.

Just seen the new Bond flick “No Time To Die” and it’s definitely the best of the Daniel Craig films… it blew my mind. WOW!

So yesterday I went to see the new 007 Bond flick “No Time To Die”, yes, it is finally here. So far, the movie is getting mixed reviews, like a “love” or “hate” thing but what’s new with the Daniel Craig Bond films? They all got mixed reviews so far except for “Quantum of Solace” which that was the only Craig Bond film that got trashed on the most but I agree though, “Quantum of Solace” was probably the worst and I didn’t like it myself but anyway…

… I freakin’ loved it… I loved every second of “No Time To Die” so it was definitely the best of the Daniel Craig 007 series for sure. They ended his series beautifully and perfectly. I think the director, Cary Fukunaga did a brilliant job.

I don’t want to give any of the story and plots away ’cause there are some huge surprises and shockers in the film… but I gotta say that I think Sony already picked their Bond replacement ’cause this movie was kind of a “passing of the torch” kind of movie, ya know? It seems the new Bond was already chosen in the film itself. I won’t say who the new 007 is, won’t say whether it’s male or female, you have to go see the film yourself and then you’ll see. Sony didn’t sign this possible replacement yet but I’m sure they will and they will make announcement real soon despite all of these different names spinning around on who the next Bond will be but it seems the next Bond was already named in the film itself like I said.

The film had great direction, great writing and good acting by everyone in the cast. The film was of course, very action packed and man… the action scenes were very different than other Bond films in the past. There were a few scenes that will make you want to say “holy shit” out loud. That’s how an action movie should be… thrilling, exciting and unpredictable.

Daniel Craig still got it, though and I understand that he finally had enough and wants to move on to other things. It’s time to pass the torch to someone else. I’ve seen all the Daniel Craig Bond movies when they came out in theater: “Casino Royale”, “Quantum of Solace”, “Skyfall”, “Spectre” and now “No Time To Die”. Only one I hated was “Quantum” but the other 4 were real good, though.

Thanks Daniel for a great ride.

New James Bond 007 flick, “No Time To Die” pushed back to April of 2021… smart move honestly…

This is the smartest move that Hollywood has ever done honestly and I actually like it and have no problem with the pushback! MGM and Universal announced today that the newest 007 Bond flick, “No Time To Die” is getting pushed back to April of 2021. It was originally going to be released in Nov. of this year but since the pandemic is still going on and many states across the US still having movie theaters closed, it makes more sense to release this film after this pandemic shit.

If they released this movie in Nov. as scheduled then many Bond fans won’t be able to see it in a theater and it would have a negative impact on box office numbers. Yeah, some states in the US do have movie theaters open now but the film would still lose a lot of money.

The studios really care for the Bond fans that really want to see the next Bond film which is the last film of the Daniel Craig era. They know a lot of people looking forward to the movie since the film getting a lot of buzz and they would feel bad if a lot of fans don’t get to see it ’cause of Covid so they thought it would be better to push it back.

I have no problem with it. I’m all for the pushback. They busted their ass making this film and worked really hard so why release it this year when not many will get to see it, ya know? Makes more sense to release it next year.

I’m a huge 007 fan. Seen all the Bond movies. Seen all 25 films and looking forward to the next one for sure.

The next 007 film is officially titled, “No Time To Die”…

Check out this cool little teaser revealing the title for Bond 25. It’s officially titled, “No Time To Die”. The title is giving you a hint that this will be the final Daniel Craig 007 film. Is the title hinting us that this film could be killing him off in this one? Could be, we’ll wait and see.

Anyway, I wonder who they’ll get to sing the title theme song for this one? I hope they pick a better theme song for this film ’cause I hated the Sam Smith theme for “Spectre”. While “Spectre” was an amazing film, I hated the opening title theme. Hopefully the opening title sequence for “No Time To Die” will be better.

I’m the biggest 007 fan you’ll ever see… I’ve seen all 24 films and I’ll be seeing this one too. Someday I’m gonna buy the 007 BluRay boxset with the 24 films in them, I really want that.

I’ve seen all the Daniel Craig 007 movies in theater when they first came out so you can betcha I’ll be seeing this one too.

Release date set for “Bond 25″… we won’t see another Bond movie until Nov. of 2019…

Contrary to reports that claimed Daniel Craig is returning to Bond 25, it is not yet clear on whether or not he will return… if he was confirmed to come back then the studios would have announced it themselves. A release date set for Bond 25 will be Nov. 8th in 2019. A couple of writers has been confirmed and producer has been confirmed as well.

No director has been named yet so that basically means that Sam Mendes is definitely out; he won’t be directing the third one. This also means that a new director will have to be signed for the director’s chair for the next installment.

Will Daniel Craig return? Don’t know… he hasn’t said anything yet but I’m sure we’ll hear from him soon. I hope Daniel returns for one more ’cause I really like him as Bond. Daniel is more exciting to watch than Pierce Brosnan. The only Pierce 007 movie I liked was “GoldenEye”; that film was actually a very good one!

Anyhow, no cast has been confirmed yet for Bond 25 but I’m positive Ralph Fiennes will return as M and I’m sure Naomi Harris will return as Moneypenny.

I do hope the writers will bring Christoph Waltz back as Blofeld ’cause that was a phenomenal performance. I think Bond 25 should be a continuation of Spectre and think it would be an interesting concept. The movie “Spectre” was a new introduction of Blofeld, giving you a hint that the character will appear in more films.

Looks like Daniel Craig is game for another Bond movie, so he will star in Bond 25 after all…

For a while now, there has been a lot of talk that Daniel Craig was gonna quit the 007 franchise and move on. Turns out, looks like he changed his mind and felt that he has one more Bond movie left in him. Maybe he felt that he didn’t want to retire with “Spectre” and wanted an even better movie to go out on, ya know?

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/07/10/james-bond-may-get-another-007-film-with-daniel-craig-after-all.html

I’m a fucking huge James Bond fan. I’ve seen ALL 24 Bond movies far. I do love all the Daniel Craig movies but so far, I think “Spectre” is the best. I like all the Bond actors but Roger Moore and Daniel Craig are my favorite.

I’m glad Daniel is not quite done yet. Is Bond 25 gonna be Daniel’s last? Who knows, we’ll have to wait and hear from him. I’m sure he’ll respond soon in his next interview with the press.

Who’s gonna direct Bond 25? Rumor has it that they got their eye on Christopher Nolan but it’s just a rumor for now. I hope it’s true ’cause Chris Nolan makes good action movies after what he did to the Batman movies.

I love James Bond movies. I’ve seen a lot of them in theater over the years and will continue to watch ’em in theater. I’ve seen every Daniel Craig 007 movie in theater and will go see Bond 25. I hope they come up with a good plot for “Bond 25”.

I don’t want to spoil the ending for “Spectre” but there’s a possibility Christoph Waltz could come back as Blofeld. I can see it happening. Spectre Island could still be the plot for “Bond 25”, a continuation of “Spectre”. Would be kind of cool.

Film Review: “Spectre”…

Starring: Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz

Directed by: Sam Mendes

So today I went to the mall to check out the latest 007 film, “Spectre”.

Plot/Synopsis: A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia, the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE. Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh, the new head of the Centre of National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6 led by M. Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny and Q to help him seek out Madeleine Swann, the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White, who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of the assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot. As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks.

Media is trashing the new Bond film like mad. All the so-called professional critics giving the film negative reviews all over but I don’t listen to other critics. I just watch a movie and give it my own opinion. Following popular opinion is boring to me. If everyone likes a certain film and if I don’t like it, I won’t be afraid to say it. If everyone hates a certain film and if I like it, I won’t be afraid to say it.

Don’t listen to the negative critics out there. Just go out and see it ’cause the film was that damn good. I thought it was WAY better than “Skyfall” and I thought “Spectre” topped that film for sure. I was real impressed with “Spectre”. I thought the writing was really good and Sam Mendes did an interesting take on his version of SPECTRE the underground terrorist group. I thought Christoph Waltz killed it as Blofeld the SPECTRE leader & boss.

This film had a lot of action, of course. The action scenes were more fun in this movie than “Skyfall”. I thought Dave Bautista’s character, Mr. Hinx was a pretty badass villain. He’s probably one of the best 007 villains of all time, in my opinion. Bautista did a great job playing him even though the character said one line, the character didn’t say much in the movie at all but he just walked around looking like a tough guy. Bond and Mr. Hinx had a pretty intense fight scene together on a train.

I’m also reading a lot of negative critics toward the Bond girls. Media trashing the Bond girls as well. Are they serious? I thought Dr. Madeline Swann who was the blond girl in the movie was freakin’ gorgeous and hot. Plus, Monica Bellucci *drool*. Monica maybe around 50 years old but she’s still a pretty hot MILF. Once again don’t listen to the critics. They wanna say how he’s a raging “misogynist” but I don’t see how. Daniel Craig himself may have said that Bond was a raging “misogynist” but even Craig himself is opinionated. Go back and watch the old Sean Connery and Roger Moore 007 flicks, you would see that Bond always cared for women. Bond definitely showed that in “Spectre” ’cause he was supposed to keep Dr. Swann alive and he ends up falling in love with her, of course so I think Daniel is full of it.

I thought this was a really great Bond film and this is gonna be the final Daniel Craig Bond film ’cause they are moving on with someone else in the next one. Daniel wants to be done with these movies and he wants to move on. I can’t blame him ’cause he’s been on this franchise for years now and he’s probably sick of it.

Score for “Spectre” = **** 4 stars as in “Excellent”.

Sony to reboot Lisbeth Salander franchise…

There is still no word on whether or not Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara will return for the Millennium sequel, “The Girl Who Played With Fire” and there is still no word on whether or not David Fincher is coming back to direct the sequel either.

Sony doesn’t care and they are no longer waiting for them ’cause they are moving ahead with an all new Lisbeth Salander reboot. They won’t be starting with the original trilogy by Stieg Larsson but instead, they will make the film on a lower budget.

It’s looking more likely that Craig, Mara and Fincher won’t return to the franchise so Sony has no choice but to go on without them.

http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/11/sony-to-reboot-dragon-tattoo-series-with-girl-in-the-spiders-web/

Such a shame ’cause I loved the American version of “Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” by David Fincher. It’s looking like Fincher won’t comeback at all ’cause he’s got a lot of other projects up ahead.

I don’t think I’ll bother reading the 4th Lisbeth Salander novel ’cause like most people, I believe only Stieg can only write the stories. They shouldn’t have continued on without him. I love the Lisbeth Salander stories ’cause I’ve read the first three books.

Video: Check out the final 007 “Spectre” trailer, it’s badass!

This film does look amazing and I can’t wait to see it. The question is will, “Spectre” top “Skyfall”? I don’t know, we’ll see.

Since it’s almost at the end of the year, there’s about 6 or 7 movies I want to see for the rest of the year. What are they? Those films are:

  • The Martian (which I will see sometime next week)
  • Steve Jobs
  • Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension
  • Spectre
  • The Hunger Games: Mockinjay part 2
  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  • The Hateful Eight

I’m definitely gonna try to see all those.

Kev

007 “Spectre” trailer is finally here!

Not only will this be the final James Bond film for director Sam Mendes, will this also be the final Bond film for Daniel Craig as well? This trailer is giving us hints that this could be the last Daniel Craig 007 film ’cause Bond wants to “disappear”.

There’s been a lot of talk that Sony wants Bond to be a black guy in the next film after this one. Will Idris Elba be the next Bond? They already changed the Miss Moneypenny character to a black woman so maybe that’s a sign?

Anyway, I think “Spectre” looks great and can’t wait for it. I’m a huge Bond fan. Seen every film.
