Dexter is coming to Netflix streaming tomorrow on Halloween… yes, all 8 seasons…

Now that “Dexter” is all done on Showtime… the show will be made available for streaming tomorrow on Halloween for Netflix services. If you’re subscribed to Netflix, I would recommend you start watching this show for those who never had Showtime and never got to watch it. It really is a great show. All 8 seasons will be made available. I already have most of the seasons on DVD anyway but I think I’m going to start re-watching the final season on there.

Too bad that the show had to last for 8 seasons as I thought it could go on for a few more but Michael C. Hall was the only one who wanted to quit and move on.

If you’re looking for something to watch for Halloween weekend… start watching, “Dexter”. One of my favorite shows. Enjoy!

EDIT TO ADD: I didn’t get to watch all of Season 8 ’cause I had to get rid of Showtime. I don’t have Showtime anymore. Too expensive. Now I’ll be able to catch up with the rest of the show and see how it ended.

Time Warner Cable officially drops Showtime network, and I’m actually okay with that…

Last night, I turned on my TV to check to see if we still have Showtime in the Capital District but it turns out we no longer have Showtime. I subscribed to the Showtime channel just for the “Dexter” show alone. Now with it’s final season currently playing and about five or 6 episodes in the season, TWC drops Showtime. Us Dexter fans can no longer watch the rest of the final season; however, I’m okay with that.

I was a little pissed off at first but after thinking about it a while, I figure Showtime was a garbage network anyways. Let it go. It has a terrible selection of movies. I only wanted that station for “Dexter”. The reason Showtime was dropped ’cause the station is owned by CBS and they are in a big legal feud with Time Warner Cable. The reason is ’cause CBS wants to get paid more to stay on. CBS wants a payment deal that TWC can’t even afford so maybe it was a good idea for TWC to drop them. So I’m guess I’m siding with TWC here. It’s all business. Everyone’s angry at TWC and accusing them of being greedy but if you think about it — it’s CBS being greedy, and not TWC.

I don’t know how I’m gonna watch the rest of Dexter now. I tried the “Showtime Anytime” Ipad app but there’s no TWC provider on it. I guess I’ll have to wait for the final season to come out on DVD. While it’s a shame and kind of sad but at the same time it’s a good thing… hard to explain. TWC did a good thing, if you think about it. If TWC gave them the deal they wanted… that could be good enough to take them out of business and they could lose a lot of money. I think that’s why they had to do what they had to do. I can’t blame them. CBS is not a good network either and they have always been greedy bastards so this is nothing new.

I didn’t think the dropping of Showtime would affect this area but I guess it did. I guess Time Warner Cable in the Capital District is part of the NYC TWC company. NYC is where the main company is.

Look like I’ll have to find something else to watch on TV tomorrow night. Probably a Netflix movie or something.

Cool Video: Michael C. Hall gives emotional goodbye to Dexter fans at SDCC…

This video even brought tears to my eyes a little bit. Michael C. Hall, the main star of the hit TV show, “Dexter”, gives an emotional goodbye speech toward the end of the “Dexter” panel at SDCC. As Michael speaks, you can see the other cast watching him too and they look like they’re all choked up. As Michael ends his speech, the large crowd gives the Dexter cast a standing ovation.

Ya know, “Dexter”, is a pretty amazing show. It’s one of my favorite shows on TV. I don’t watch a lot of TV anymore but “Dexter” is one of those few shows that I love. Season 8 is pretty amazing so far. If you don’t have Showtime, I would recommend you watch this show. The stories can be pretty intense. Out of all the seasons of “Dexter”, I still think Season 4 is the best.

Like most Dexter fans, I too can’t believe this show is ending. Here’s hoping for a big screen movie possibility if Dexter doesn’t get killed off anyway.

Cool Video: Showtime confirms, “Dexter – Season 8”, is it’s last season…

Sad. Two of my favorite shows on TV are ending completely this year. They are: “Dexter”, and “Breaking Bad”. It’s sad that Dexter have to end this soon ’cause I believe there is much more of a story to be told. There is too much more. Just before Season 7, I remember Michael C. Hall almost retired from the show but Showtime talked him out of it by offering him a deal he couldn’t refuse so he can come back for two more seasons. Michael really wants to move on from this show and he’s finally decided has had enough. I can’t blame him though. He’s been working on this show for years, and he is probably all burned out. He wants to move on to other projects.

Here is a clip from the Season 8 premiere. The clip features Dexter having this bizarre conversation with his adoptive-sister, Debra. Debra and her usual potty mouth. She’s been like this throughout most of the show over the years. Her constant “F Bombs” is what makes her character awesome.

It is going to be interesting to see how Dexter is going to end, though. Will Dexter give himself up and turn himself in or will they finally catch him? Maybe Dexter will get killed off before anything even happens. It’ll be interesting, and I’m looking forward to it. Sad this is the last season. One of my favorite shows on TV. Michael C. Hall is a very talented actor; he deserves to move on to better things.

Report: “Dexter – Season 8”, which could be the show’s final season, will air sooner than you think…

Showtime announced some major news today, that they will air, Dexter “Season 8”, this summer premiering on, June 30th. The show, “Dexter”, is usually aired in the Fall, around Sept./Oct. Look like they really want to tell the story for Season 8 to everyone, so they got to be airing the next season early for a reason. “Season 7” just finished not too long ago and it did end with a shocker. “Season 8” could supposedly be the shows final season ever, so it will be interesting to see where the story is going to go from here.

See the announcement, here.

2013 is looking to be a great year for TV. “Walking Dead” returning in Feb. “Game of Thrones” is coming back at the end of March, which is what I’m excited for. “Breaking Bad” is returning in the summer. Looking forward to all these shows returning. Love all these shows!

Brock reviews “Dexter – Season 6″…

I love the show, “Dexter”. It is one of the best shows on TV, I’ve seen in a long time. I’m not a big TV person, but there are a few shows that I love to watch and this show here is one of them. This show is actually very entertaining and very good. It actually has good writing and acting. Only thing I hate about the “Dexter” DVD’s is that Showtime forces you to sit through advertisements once you insert the DVD into the player and turn it on. It’s annoying and I hate how DVD’s and BluRays are doing that lately. I buy Dexter on DVD ’cause I don’t have Showtime, so I just wait for all the seasons to come out on DVD.

Anyway, back to Season 6, it was a really good season. Shows a different side of Dexter than before. He was forced to get into religion even though he was never meant to be a religious guy. There’s another serial killer out there called, the Doomsday Killer. The Doomsday Killer are Professor Gellar and Travis Marshall (Colin Hanks), which their killings are based on the Book of Revelation, and they leave signs of the Apocalypse at each crime scene. Of course, Dexter, tries to hunt down these killers himself ’cause you know that’s the kind of serial killer Dexter is. Dexter’s goal is to get rid of bad people.

That’s part of the plot without giving too many spoilers. There were a lot of interesting twist and turns this season. I thought Colin Hanks did a really good job in a major acting role. I’m surprised on how much Colin looks and talks much like his father, Tom Hanks. This season kept you guessing toward the end and was unpredictable. I won’t give spoilers, but the ending this season was pretty shocking, and it’ll get you scratching your head. Michael C. Hall’s acting is great like he always is, he’s a pretty talented guy.

There were a few silly things that weren’t needed this season. The Joey Quinn and Batista feud wasn’t needed. And the only character that I hate is that Masuka guy, I think he’s annoying, but other than that, the rest of the show is fine. I do like Jennifer Carpenter playing Dexter’s sister, Debra. This season was Jennifer’s best acting by far. I love how she says the word, “fuck” a lot ’cause if she didn’t swear a lot, then her character wouldn’t have worked.

Season 6 was good, but it wasn’t the best season. I still think “Season 4” with John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer was the best. Two more seasons of Dexter after 6. Season 7 will start soon, and I think I am going to get Showtime, just in time before the season starts. I think I got something figured out so I can get that channel. Dexter is a phenomenal show and pretty addicting. This is one show that should become a big screen movie whenever it gets done with TV.

Report: “Dexter”, gets two more seasons, and Michael C. Hall is still on board!!!!

Attention all Dexter fans!!!

There were worries that Michael C. Hall was going to quit the show after season 6 due to the impasse. They couldn’t fill in the $4 million dollar gap, of the original $24 million that Michael wanted. Well, Showtime was able to give the $24 million dollar deal that Michael wanted, and now the actor is still on board for two more seasons!

Great news! The more “Dexter” the better. I haven’t been watching Season 6 ’cause I don’t have Showtime. I’ll just watch them all on DVD when the upcoming seasons come out. Glad Michael is still on the show, ’cause there can’t be a Dexter without him.

Report: Is Michael C. Hall, done with “Dexter”???

Even though the ratings for the premiere of “Dexter – Season 6” has gone up a little, it seems that MIchael C. Hall is no longer interested in the show and he may finally want to move on to other projects. Michael’s contract for the show expires after Season 6, and Showtime is trying to offer him a 20 million dollar deal for him to return for two more seasons, and Michael wants 24 million in order for him to re-sign the contract. Look like Showtime doesn’t want to pay that high so they gave up on him, ’cause the negotiations broke down.

Deadline, reports.

Well it does seem like Michael finally wants to quit since he’s been signing himself to other projects lately, like the “Big Fish” Broadway musical for example.

Michael’s a talented actor, so he deserves to move on to other things. I would like to see Michael on big motion pictures for the big screen someday, and I’m sure he’ll be on his way there soon.

If he does decide to leave Dexter for good, it would be interesting to see how he’s going to be written off the show. Will he finally get caught and arrested? Or will they kill Dexter off before he is caught?

They might even replace someone else to play Dexter, but the show might lose it’s popularity if they replace someone else though. I can’t see no one else playing Dexter other than Michael himself. He’s the only actor that can play that character. I would give up watching the show if he is replaced.

Just watched “Dexter – Season 6” premiere on youtube…

Since I won’t be getting Showtime for “Dexter” Season 6, I just watched the premiere on youtube. Showtime will be uploading all the episodes on their official youtube channel.

It’s a very good episode. This season is going to be real good.

Dexter – Season 6 premiere in the video below. They censored the nudity and swearing for youtube but at least I’ll be able to watch it.
