Over the weekend, I’ve spent some time listening to the rest of the Lamb of God albums. They have 7 albums in their career. While all of their albums are really good, I would have to say that their newest record, “VII: Sturm und Drang” was their best in their career. Their latest record they just put out really is that good. It is also a little different than their previous albums, I’ve noticed. “Sturm Und Drang” has bigger riffs and bigger guitar sound too and like I said in a post before, the new album has Randy’s best singing. Really, you should check out LOG’s newest album. It’ll blow your mind. Some of metal’s best songwriting. There’s something about that album I was really impressed with. Did Randy’s time in prison inspired them to make better music than ever before? That’s probably it. There’s a lot of sadness and emotion in the songs and you can hear it in Randy’s singing. This album is definitely more melodic than the previous releases. It is a damn good record and will be looked at as a classic years from now.
Seriously, check out the new LOG album yourself. You won’t be disappointed at all if you like metal. LOG is an enjoyable band to listen to.
This album by Lamb of God, “VII: Sturn Un Drang” was really really good. I was really impressed and blown away by it. It is a very strong, powerful and tight album. I listened to it two times in a row earlier this morning and plan on listening to it again later tonight.
Randy Blythe is at his best with the singing and so is the rest of the band with their playng. I only heard a couple of LOG albums which are “Wrath” and “Sacrament” but I’ll give the rest of their albums a listen soon ’cause I got all their albums saved in my Apple Music library too.
Lamb of God is a really good band, I enjoy them. I saw them live in concert too when they opened for Metallica. It was a great opportunity to see LOG.
If you like heavy music, you would dig this album too. Check out the tunes below for a little preview.
Now that Lamb of God singer, Randy Blythe, is a free man and is now able to go back living his life, Lamb of God is wasting no time to get back to music. Right away, after Randy’s acquittal announcement, the band just announced a pretty big tour.
Congrats to Lamb of God and Randy! I’m sure their future concerts will have tighter security in the front row, so another fan won’t get killed again. I’m sure Randy didn’t kill that kid in Prague, maybe that death was an accident ’cause mosh pits do get pretty rough.
Well, life goes on and the show must go on, right? That’s what the band is doing here. They want to leave this in the past and move forward with their music, which is good.
I’m pretty sure Lamb of God fans and the metal community are all jumping up and down, being all excited and stuff ’cause Randy Blythe is finally a free man. He’s been acquitted in Prague today!
As a Lamb of God fan myself, I’d say that’s good news. I saw Lamb of God in concert a few years back when they opened for Metallica. Now they can get back to doing music, work on a new album and go on tour soon.
Now that Randy Blythe of Lamb of God, is out on bail and back in his hometown, he put out a statement. Talked about a few things. He thanked fans and supporters for their support while he was in jail in Prague. He also explains that the prison guards and other inmates treated Randy kindly. Plus, he vows to return to Prague so he can fight to get his name cleared. As you can see, he is maintaining his innocence.
I wish him good luck. He’s probably an innocent man, sure, but metal singers can’t be trusted.
The rest of the Lamb of God guys, have been pretty silent for a while about Randy Blythe’s Czech arrest, but today the band finally releases a statement. Read what they have to say, here.
Of course, the band would find him innocent. Randy’s supporters will always find him innocent, no matter the situation. I also find their legal fundraisers for Randy, pretty ridiculous. The other band members are wealthy enough, I’m sure they can afford legal funds themselves.
Lamb of God frontman, Randy Blythe, has been arrested in Prague, which is the Capital of the Czech Republic. He was arrested for an incident back in 2010 during a concert where he is accused of an onstage altercation with a fan, in which later, the fan died of injuries. He was charged for manslaughter. He is now out on bail.
Of course, fans of Lamb of God, try to stick up for Randy. Claiming it was for self defense. The fan jumped on the stage when he wasn’t welcomed. All that stuff, blah blah blah blah. Okay, here is my honest thoughts on this story…
While I’m a fan of Lamb of God myself. I have their first two albums, and even saw them in concert when they opened for Metallica a few years back, I would have to agree with the manslaughter charge and Randy should be investigated. Before you get pissed, here’s why. Fans getting killed at concerts is nothing new. It’s been happening for years. Especially at metal concerts. Metal concerts can get worse, with the aggressive mosh pits and all. There are a lot of fans in facebook and other places online saying, that the fan got what he deserved ’cause he jumped on the stage where he didn’t belong. I mean, really? People jump on stages at concerts all the time, it happens. Usually when that stuff happens, the security will walk them off to the side of the stage, not throw them off. Why do fans jump on the stage? A lot of reasons: 1) To get a closer look at the rock stars. 2) They like to jump off the stage and into the crowd themselves. The list can keep going, but those two are the big reasons.
You see, you can’t always side with the rock stars on these things. I mean, what if they start it, sometimes you know? Rock stars can get a little aggressive and excited on stage, that sometimes they can get into a destructive mode and they want to start acting tough. Yes, the fan may have been drunk or on drugs that night and he was acting way out of line but there are better ways to handle things. Watching the video below, Randy wasn’t alone on throwing the fan off the stage. He got help with a huge man on the video, which looks to be a bodyguard or security or something.
I’m pretty sure Randy himself is feeling pretty horrible about this. I’m sure he even feels bad about the fan and his family/friends. I’m sure Randy didn’t mean what he did, ’cause he is a performer and even rock stars can make mistakes too. They’re not perfect, just like we aren’t. No matter what you think of the fan, he did not deserve it. Think about the family and friends. We don’t know how the whole thing happened, we weren’t there, so you can’t immediately call, Randy, an innocent man. Just because you’re a fan, doesn’t mean you have to be on his side. Like I said before, I’m a fan of Lamb of God, I love their music, but I think it’s wrong that Randy did this. He should have handled it better. All fans deserve to be treated safely at concerts, no matter how rough they can get. The fan was a human being and he was young. He didn’t deserve that. Just wait for the trial and then we can judge.
Lamb of God, front man, Randy Blythe, made a huge announcement that he is running for President. It seems pretty serious, as he had funded a campaign himself to get it going. Do you think he really has what it takes? I would be surprised if he actually got a nomination and make it pretty far. The only support I can see people giving him in this election are, Lamb of God, fans. Other politicians may have a hard time taking him seriously because of his metal image and his metal past.
Metallica announced the opening act for their North American tour from Sept. through Nov. in their fall tour. The opening act will be Lamb of God. Which means that Lamb of God will play the Times Union Center Dec. 12th with Metallica.
Fuck YEAH! Now this is going to be one killer show! I LOVE LAMB OF GOD! I have Lamb of God’s two albums, “Sacrement” and “Wrath”, the new one. Lamb of God is another band I’ve always wanted to see live, and now I’ll be able to! Great choice for an opening act, boys!
Lamb of God the metal giants have been hard at work in the studio to prepare for it’s new studio album which is untitled as of this moment and the band plans on releasing sometime in February of 2009. It will be a follow up to “Sacrament” which was released back in 2006. The band is proud of the album and they say this album raised a bar to their music.
Lamb of God is a great band, one of the best new metal bands to come out in a long time. I loved “Sacrament” and looking forward to getting their new album too.
