Report: Is the WWE failing in ratings?

This guy wrote this interesting article on if the WWE is failing as a business ’cause of low ratings. I agree with his article totally. Just because WWE TV ratings are low, doesn’t mean the business is coming to an end. The WWE is a powerful company. This company will be on our planet forever. Like WWE or not.

Whenever it’s Vince McMahon’s time to die in real life, I’m not saying he will, but what if down the road, there will be other people in the wrestling business to take his spot as chairman to keep WWE alive. Like his kids Stephanie and Shane McMahon can take over ownership. Maybe Jim Ross or Triple H, those two guys know about the wrestling business more than anyone. There will always be people taking over if Vince McMahon happens to retire or dies, it doesn’t matter. Vince McMahon will never retire from WWE, he’ll be chairman ’til the day he dies, trust me on this. 🙂

Reasons I think WWE is low in the ratings:

-last year’s Chris Benoit murder controversy

-No Stone Cold, No Rock, No Hulk Hogan

-Storylines getting lame and stupid

-Not enough wrestling

I can think of a lot of reasons but those are the big ones I can thnk of at the top of my head. Basically, no one really cares for WWE anymore except the only people left are mostly the longtime fans who still enjoy watching it like myself.

Report: Heath Ledger Joker dolls (or action figures) flies off shelves…

The newly made and released Heath Ledger joker action figures are selling out quick. They are priced at $9.99 and people in NYC are having a hard time trying to find one. Toys ‘R Us in NYC says it will take a while to get more in.

More on it here:

http://www.nypost.com/seven/05062008/news/regionalnews/jokers_wild__ledger_dolls_fly_off_shelve_109586.htm

Now, don’t tell me that people from all over the states and the world, traveled to NYC just get a Heath Ledger Joker action figure. Come on now. They are just plastic toys! Are they really worth something or will they worth a lot 20 years from now?

I love Heath Ledger as the Joker myself but a toy is a toy!

I can’t wait to see “The Dark Knight”. Honestly, out of all of my most anticipated movies I want to see, I’m dying to see “The Dark Knight” over everything else. “The Dark Knight” will indeed be the best Batman movie ever made. “The Dark Knight” is my no. 1 most anticipated film.

Report: The Police to play their final show in NYC after their tour is done…

Sting, Andy Summers and Stu Copeland will play their final and last show as the Police in NYC where the band started out 30 years ago. The Police has made a lot of history in New York City as they played a lot of shows when they were just starting out as a band. Their first number of gigs were at no where other than the legendary CBGB’s where the band was made famous. The band started in NYC and they want to end their career in NYC. They didn’t announce a date for the NYC concert just yet.

Their NYC concert will benefit the city’s local public TV stations. They will also work with Mayor Bloomberg for MillionTreesNYC.

From the Police official website:

http://www.thepolice.com/news/news.php?uid=5695

It’s too bad that the CBGB’s closed down before their final show, I’m sure the band would have loved to have their final gig at the same venue where they started.

I’m not a fan of the Police anymore, I used to be. But Sting’s singing is too good and profesional that he doesn’t sing like he used to in the Police back in the old days. That’s why I think the Police reunion is crap.

The Police will make a stop at SPAC in Saratoga Springs to open for Elvis Costello this summer, I’m not sure if I’ll go to that or not. Probably not, I don’t go to famous national concerts anymore.

BREAKING NEWS: We find the defendant…Guilty!!!

So the jury convicts Jack Jordan guilty today after the verdict was read.

The Associated Press reports:

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hFrInCBBmucw3KGyF5McQabeKLAAD90G97MG9

Do I feel ashamed of myself for defending him? No. Not at all. I’m not afraid of having an honest opinion on something that no one else would discuss. I don’t have to have the same opinion as everyone else does.

He has another court date coming June 2nd, so he may have another chance to prove his innocence.

If jail is what he deserves, fine, that still doesn’t mean he did it. Innocent people do get convicted.

Everyone deserves the right to an opinion on whether he’s innocent or guilty.

Report: Jack Jordan verdict to be read tomorrow possibly…

The jury for Jack Jordan’s stalker trial has been sent home and looking for more time to decide whether he is guilty or not guilty of stalking actress Uma Thurman. The jury is expecting to make a decision on the verdict tomorrow.

TMZ reports:

http://www.tmz.com/2008/05/05/uma-stalker-jurys-still-out/

If the jury is taking this long to decide, then that’s a sign they are going to find him not guilty and completely innocent. Think about it. If a jury knew that a criminal is guilty, then they would have made the final verdict on the spot right away.

As I said a few days ago, the fans of the celebrities like Uma Thurman always seem to support them no matter how evil they are. The person that is not famous is always the bad guy, which is how they become a target by a celebrity (look at Steven Vander Ark getting attacked by J.K. Rowling, perfect example). Jack Jordan is not a famous celebrity.

He’s a regular guy like all of us. This is why the public thinks that the celebrities are the good people because of their fame and power. Jack Jordan happens to be trapped in the middle of that drama. Celebrities are very protective and defensive of themselves which is why they are strict at meeting their own fans. Figure it out and use your head. You would know where I’m getting at.

Uma don’t have to be scared and being desperate to try and lock him up over this stupid shit. She’s taking it a bit too personally in my opinion. She should just feel flattered and happy that she has a number one fan but nope, they are acting like enemies in a court room.

Uma has no case, this is gonna get her no where. It’s all talk. You can’t prove anything from the words out of your mouth.

Report: Jury deliberations beggining now as you read this for Jack Jordan’s Uma Thurman stalker trial…

The case of Jack Jordan being accused of stalking actress Uma Thurman for over 2 years has been sent over to the jury to decide as we speak. I’m sure the verdict will be read later this evening.

More on it here:

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b134859_uma_stalking_case_to_jury.html

Don’t we all have a celebrity crush on a female actress? Yep, we all do. I’m sure everyone one of us has a favorite female celebrity that we would love to get in bed with. There is nothing wrong with that. I have the hots for actresses like Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson but that doesn’t make me a stalker for having a huge romantic crush on them.

That’s all it is to me with Jack Jordan, a regular guy who has a crush on a female celebrity but he has a dark humorous personality like some people have out there. I still predict Jack will be found not guilty and will walk this one. If I’m wrong, if he is found guilty, my opinion will never change that he is innocent. It isn’t criminal and shouldn’t be made into a trial. This whole thing is embarrasing and disgusting.

I do agree with a few things that Jack did was wrong but it is not criminal, it’s a mistake and he shouldn’t have to go to jail. Maybe get a little bit of profesional help, sure, but not jail. That’s too far. Just look at his picture above. Does he look dangerous? No. To me, he seems like a very simple, easy going and normal guy, he looks harmless.

Just a die hard fan trying to get romantically involved with a famous person. A lot of fans are like that out there. It’s a free country, this guy should be able to do what he wants to do in this society. He did nothing illegal.

I’ll be on the lookout when the verdict gets announced.

First they did this with “Ghosts I-IV”, now they’ve released their second studio album of the year titled “The Slip”. “Ghosts I-IV” was just an instrumental album I believe, “The Slip” is an album with vocals.

Go here to the Nine Inch Nails official website to get the new FREE album:

Music don’t always have to be about the money folks, remember that.

Report: Terminator 4 to get a PG-13 rating…

Filming is starting this week for “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins” set for release May 22nd 2009 and the film makers want to make it a PG-13 rating to make the next Terminator film more family friendly. This move was inspired after the release of “Die Hard 4: Live Free or Die Hard”. They actually think T-4 will be a more successful film being a family film.

Variety Reports:

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117985086.html?categoryid=13&cs=1

Well, look like I won’t be seeing this in theater. First no Arnold, then the PG-13 rating. Just two reasons that the film will bomb, big time. Nobody wants to see a Terminator movie with less violence and no swearing. Sorry but that’s the truth.

Cool Video: Stone Temple Pilots live on Jimmy Kimmel here…

If you missed the Stone Temple Pilots performance on Jimmy Kimmel like I did, Rollingstone.com has the video, they perform the songs “Vasoline” and “Trippin On a Hole In a Paper Heart”:

http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2008/05/02/video-stone-temple-pilots-rock-kimmel/

After the band’s long hiatus, they are still sounding great. Weiland still sings very well even though he’s still a drug addict and a drunk.

Their last TV performance was on the Jimmy Kimmel show way back in 2002.
