Thought: About embedding a widget jukebox player into this blog…

I just read in the help section of wordpress that wordpress doesn’t allow media outside of wordpress to embedd into this blog, like other widgets elsewhere and stuff like that. So look like the media widget mp3 player is out, I can’t do it here. Now I figured out why I couldn’t do it!

Oh well, this weekend, I’ll link my soundclick page to the side of this blog at the “blogroll” section and you can hear my tunes from there. At my soundclick page, I got older songs on there from last year but I plan on using my soundclick page for my music only.

I’ve been writing songs again. Been coming up with a lot of great ideas. Can’t wait to finish ’em, record ’em and get ’em online.

Last week when I picked up “Grand Theft Auto IV” videogame, I picked up the “Guitar DVD – How to Play Acoustic Rock Guitar” instructional DVD/booklet that only costed $10.00, it’s a guitar instruction series made by Andy Aledort who is the Guitar World editor/transcriber. I looked through the booklet of the DVD pretty quickly and I pretty much already know everything in it. With myself being an acoustic guitarist. I would say I am pretty dedicated to rhythym guitar. Now my lead guitar playing could get worked on a little more but this DVD instructional set will help play lead guitar better. I want to get better at guitar solos, it’s the main reason I picked up the instrument to become a kick ass lead guitarist. I’m doing everything I can to get up there.

My blog is a good promoting tool for my gigs ’cause I know everyone in the Capital District is reading this thing. Most people who came to my shows in the past have been mostly my blog readers and it’s a great feeling. It’s not a delusion ’cause I know what I see and it’s the truth. If the entire Capital District wasn’t reading my blog, then it wouldn’t have gotten a nod in the Metroland twice in a row.

I just want nothing to do with myspace. Too many whack jobs in that site. I feel good without it. I’m still considering going to Facebook though. When I make an account there I’ll let you know.

I’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto IV a lot and I’m still amazed and in awe of how realistic that game is. Ok, that’s it for now, I figure I would talk about something other than “news entertainment” topics for a change.

BREAKING NEWS: Joseph Mascolo fired from “Days of Our Lives”…

Huge rumours have been buzzing around the daytime TV forums that actor Joseph Mascolo who has been a longtime cast member for the soap opera “Days Of Our Lives” has been fired from the show…

This news has been floating around, not sure if it’s coming from reliable sources or not:

“Longtime soap star Joseph Mascolo is furious after Days` bosses axed him from the show out of the blue-and did it with a cold phone call. “A show exec called and simply told him his contract isnt being renewed,”says an insider. ‘He’s furious and in a state of shock. He flew into a rage over the phone.’ The 73 year old actor who plays baddie Stefano Dimera first joined the NBC drama in 1982 and worked there nearly 20 years until 2001, when he joined the Bold and the Beautiful for five years. He returned to Days last June reprising his popular role. The storyline put his character in a coma for the past month. “Joe believed DAYS would be his swan song” says the insider. ‘He’s been at the center of a strong story line since he came back. What’s worse is he’s not even being brought out of the coma for a major finale. He’s worked his last day on the show.’

What a shame. A longtime “Days” vet canned from the show. As the paragraph explained above Joseph played the evil Stefano Dimera known as the father and mob boss of the Dimera family. I guess putting Stefano in a coma is a way to explain his firing.

What happened was ever since John Black was found alive from the Dimera mansion over an experiment to take out John’s memory, this is what drove John Black’s wife Marlena to take out Stefano’s memory and put him in a coma in return. A revenge type of thing. The left over Dimera family EJ Wells and Tony Dimera has since turned “good guys” since Stefano is no longer around.

Joseph was one of the best actors in the show and it will not be the same without him.

Report: Jack Jordan takes the stand at Uma Thurman trial…

Courtroom drama for the Uma Thurman stalker controversy continues in trial today as Jack Jordan said he didn’t mean to scare actress Uma Thurman. He’s admitting that he has a huge romantic crush on her and he was giving her an opportunity to meet a number one fan. He says he wasn’t trying to stalk her in any way. He never really said anything sexual just romantic things in a dark twisting humorous way.

Jordan explains he was trying to impress her and get her “flattered” but unfortunately the stupid woman beat him over the head over all this. He also admits he has been humiliated by the trial and this private business has been made to the public nationally.

He’s always wanted to meet her in person but I’m very sure he didn’t want to meet her in the court room like this.

If I was in that grand jury, I would consider him not guilty. I see him just a die hard fan of a movie star just trying to meet her, that’s what this is all about.

Uma Thurman sounds like a bitchy woman who never cut the guy a break and was a little too hard on him. Although he made a few minor mistakes and admitted a few of things he said was wrong, but it’s a mistake! Everyone makes them! Everyone says stupid and lame things all the time! BIG FUCKING DEAL!!! He shouldn’t have to go to prison for over a year for this!

I guess I am on Jordan’s side. Shame on you Uma. Another ego celebrity who treats their own fans like garbage. This is just another reason that you shouldn’t try to meet your favorite celebrity, just ask Steven Vander Ark.

Report: Uma Thurman “acting” in court?

Uma Thurman was nervous, hands shaking and lips quivering as she testified in court against her stalker Jack Jordan. She says she was freaked out, scared and said it was a nightmare afer Jack Jordan a die hard Uma fan written sexual things to her.

Jack Jordan is currently in trial in Manhatten, NYC being accused of stalking and aggravated harrasment against iconic hollywood actress Uma Thurman. He could face up a year in prison if convicted.

Jordan seems like a die hard fan trying to support Uma, but she isn’t letting him. Celebrities aren’t the friendliest people in the world with their own fans. You can’t trust any of them.

Jordan’s attorney said so himself that Jordan is a fan and loves Uma that he wouldn’t hurt her. I’m not on Jordan’s side or anything like that, I’m not defending him… I’m just using common sense.

You have to understand the “power” that these celebrities have. They’ll accuse you of anything and make you look guilty of anything because of their “fame”.

Jordan will walk this one.

Report: Madd is mad at Grand Theft Auto IV…

Madd (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) wants a stricter rating for “Grand Theft Auto IV”. The company is calling on the Entertainment Software Ratings Board to turn “Grand Theft Auto” into an adults only game. The game includes missions where you get to drive drunk. Madd is also calling on the Take Two Interactive and Rockstar games to stop distributing the game. Madd wants this done as in respect to the victims and survivors of drunk driving all over the world.

Rockstar games the creator of the Grand Theft Auto series, respond back defending themselves as any company would do. Rockstar replies back saying that adults are aware of the content of the game and you can’t judge an entire film or a TV show by a single scene, you can’t judge GTA IV by a small aspect of the game.

I’m with Rockstar on this one.

There is drinking and driving everywhere you go in the Entertainment industry. There’s drunk drivers in movies and television shows, it’s everywhere.

Besides, why would Madd atttack GTA IV for the drinking and driving in the game? I think the drinking and driving in the game is a good thing the way I look at it.

I think GTA IV wants to help stop people from drinking and driving. Think about this, you’re playing GTA IV in the drunk driving scenes, you crash into a car and die in the game, and then you think to yourself, “Gee, I better not drink and drive for real so I don’t get myself killed like that”.

Madd should think about that.

Gig Announcement: Positively 4th Street in Troy, N.Y. May 31st

I finally got a gig confirmation. I’ve been offered to play a gig at Positively 4th Street or better known as “P4th” in Troy, N.Y. on May 31st @ 9 p.m.. I’ll be opening for the bands The Rob Skane 3 and No Call No Show.

More details to follow in the future, I need to know how much this gig is going to cost and the age limit will come soon, then I will make a flyer to promote it with.

P4th is a new venue I never played at before although I visited the venue in person once. It’s a cool place and the owners are cool people.

While there’s not many venues to play at in the Capital District anymore, P4th do all they can to keep the local music scene alive so I respect them for that.

For this blog I plan on putting up a gig calendar to embed here so I can promote my future gigs, I’m still looking for the mp3 widget jukebox player to embed here so you can listen to my songs while you read the blog too, I’ve been looking into all that stuff all week. Those stuff are coming for the blog soon. I want my blog to be my “Official” music website from this point on.

Thought: Grand Theft Auto IV….OMG!!!! This game fuckin’ rocks!!!

This blog has been slow today ’cause I got hooked to playing “Grand Theft Auto IV” when I started playing this afternoon. The game is absolutely great and mind blowing. You videogamers out there, I would seriously reccomend this.

I finally beat “God of War: Chains of Olympus” for the PSP today so I’ve started GTA IV for the PS3 this afternoon.

GTA IV is amazing. The graphics are out of this world, and the action is just amazing. I’m totally amazed on how crazy this game is and I can immediately see why it got a lot of buzz in the media.

The game is already making huge cash as it already expected, it broke records in the UK and making big money over here too. This game will indeed be the most popular video game in history.

Thank god I have a day off of work tomorrow, I’ll be playing this sucker all day and evening tomorrow. It is kind of sad, lol, ’cause it’ll take my time away from guitar playing. I’m only at the beggining of the game which turns out easy at first but the game will get tougher to play as you go along. I just gotta get used to it. The game is pretty realistic too. I’m about to get off the computer to play some more of the game.

Report: Miley Cyrus not attending Disney’s red carpet event…

Miley Cyrus was scheduled to appear at Walt Disney’s red carpet party along with other Disney channel stars but she will not be there. Disney did not elaborate any further on why she backed out. Reports are NOT saying Disney pulled the plug on this event, she is simply not showing up for unknown reasons on her own behalf.

Report: No evidence to hunt down “Smiley Face Gang”, Families of victims say there is…

The FBI says there is no official proof or hard evidence that the 40 victims were killed by the famous national gang called the “Smiley Face Gang”. As reported previously the Smiley Face Gang were made famous for killing young college men who get drunk at bars by drowning them at a river, then spray painting a smiley face at a nearby tree. The victims were all viewed as accidental drowning by swimming in a river after a night of drinking.

I would have to agree that it would be very hard to track and hunt down these killers. These killers are pretty sneaky. My belief is, that they make each killing look like it was an accidental drowning, that’s how they get away with them all. It’ll be hard to find evidence for all that in order for police to go hunt them down.

The only way I can think of to prove that the Smiley Face Gang did these crimes are: 1) If they turn themselves in to authorities. 2) Or a victim fights back, escapes from the attack successfully and goes to police after to report it.

What’s really weird is how these 40 victims never fought back for self defense. I’m sure the victims tried to fight back but the gang had to have a lot of people, I’m willing to bet the gang is mostly kids around the 20’s. The gang could possibly be using weapons and could possible be 20 people in the gang against one. That would be hard to escape and to fight back.

It’ll take a long time to find out who these killers are and it will take a long time to see if those killers are really linked to those murders. This is another mysterious crime that won’t be solved for a long time or perhaps will never be solved. First things first, they have to really prove if these drownings is a murder which will also be difficult.

These gangs must be smart people if they can do this stuff without being caught and without being witnessed by the public. I hope this case does get solved down the road.
