Whose Side Are You On: Ashley Alexandra Dupre vs Joe Francis…

Ashley Alexandra Dupre is in the news again. But this time it’s something good! Ashley the Spitzer girl files a 10 million dollar lawsuit against Joe Francis and the Girls Gone Wild company. She is accusing the company of using her name without her permission and advertising her videos with her dancing on the GGW bus doing a strip tease while dancing. She also says she was 17 and not old enough to sign a contract when the video was filmed…

and also check the TMZ report:

Didn’t some dude named Greasy Bear who works for the Girls Gone Wild company reply to a comment in my blog saying that she was legal? Ashley says it’s not true! Oh my!!!

I’m still on Ashley’s side 100%. She’s doing a good thing here.

Go get ’em Ash! Fight the power!

NEW: Yngwie Malmsteen on cover for Guitar World for July issue…

Guitar God Yngwie Malmsteen will hit the cover on Guitar World magazine for the July issue.

The next issue of Guitar World will be all about learning how to play fast and learn how to shred.

See more here:

http://www.guitarworld.com/guitar_world_on_sale_now

The magazine will feature lessons by other guitar gods such as Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and other players teaching you how to play fast.

Playing fast guitar is one of my biggest goals in my own guitar playing. I’m learning and making my way up there but could be better at it. I’m still learning how to have a good ear in improvising and all that. This next issue for Guitar World will be good information for my own guitar playing as well.

I want to be jamming with other guitarists and musicians, it’s why I’m learning my chops and trying to get better, become a more profesional player. Playing lead guitar and kick ass riffs is what I’m all about.

Report: Miley Cyrus says sorry and embarrassed about photos…

15 year old, yes, she’s only 15 Miley Cyrus spoke out to the media saying she’s sorry for the revealing photos for Vanity Fair. She claims she never intended for any of this to happen.

Walt Disney company was critical of Vanity Fair and busted on them for it too, but of course, you guess it, Vanity Fair defended themselves by saying that Miley Cyrus’s parents were in the studio watching everything, to make sure it was okay by them. They also say that everyone at the photo studio where they shot Miley’s photo that her portrait was the most beautiful thing they ever seen.

The Associated Press reports:

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gYLnT2kyPIgNUurQ71aNM3EJKpRAD90AO0D00

Like I said before, it may be okay for underage girls to pose topless without private parts being shown as long as parents are in their guidance, the world is not going to be approved by this.

Think how other kids are going to bully her by calling her a little skank or a slut (Perez Hilton is already on his website calling her a little slut, lol).

Or think about how many pedophiles and predators out there are keeping a good eye on her. I guess Achy Breaky Billy Ray never thought about that and thinks this photo shoot is not gonna do any harm.

I’m not blaming Disney for this, because Vanity Fair did this without Disney’s knowledgement, ’cause you can very well believe that Disney wouldn’t give Miley permission to do this. While it may be ok to publish these photos in the magazine, it is still sick to have a naked 15 year old in the photo studio.

Here comes another dead career heading down Britney’s path.

Report: Eli Stone’s “Resurrection” coming to the big screen…

Universal Pictures has greenlighted Eli Stone’s comic book series “Resurrection” to the big screen, the story focuses on a group of survivors trying to take back control of the planet after an apocalyptic invasion. Scott Stuber is producing the film and also Eric Gitter who works for Closed on Mondays Entertainment. The comic was illustrated by artist David Dumeer, was first published in October. The “Resurrection” will be about being invaded by aliens.

There has been many films about aliens and UFO’s over the years of hollywood film making. Films such as “War of the Worlds”, “Close Encounters Of the Third Kind”, “Fire In the Sky”, “Communion”, “Cocoon 1 and 2”, “Stargate”, “K-Pax”, “Starman”, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Enemy Mine”, and the list goes on.

The Hollywood Reporter reports:

This sounds interesting.

As some of you may or may not know, I have a high amount of interest in UFO’s and aliens. I’m always researching that stuff, and yes, I enjoy watching the new “UFO Hunters” on the History channel every Sunday nights.

I enjoy science and UFO’s is one of my favorite things. I believe they are real and they are out there.

Report: David Bowie hates daughters taste in music…

Here is an interesting David Bowie tidbit I stumbled across on the web. David Bowie’s longtime wife Iman (pictured on the right above) revealed to the media that he doesn’t like his daughters taste in music. His daughter listens to mainstream pop music that you hear in the top 40 radio today. Whenever David’s daughter listen to that stuff in the house, he leaves the room. David can’t stand today’s music just like everyone else. Iman says that David failed to teach his daughter of what music she should and shouldn’t be listening to. David says she wants her to be listening to underground and unpopular music.

More on it here:

http://breakingnews.iol.ie/entertainment/story.asp?j=253952436&p=z53953y4z

Now you see why David is no longer a mainstream music artist anymore like he was in the 70’s and 80’s.

He’s another one of them artists that dropped off major labels years ago and continues to release albums independently. I just think he doesn’t want to be part of the mainstream pop era.

It’s been 5 years since David hasn’t been in the studio to record a new album, his latest studio album is titled “Reality” which was released back in 2003. Bowie is another one of those artists that likes to take long breaks in between albums so hopefully he’ll go back into the studio soon.

Report: I will be moving my music to “Facebook Music” soon…

I find the Facebook Music website a lot better than myspace. I think I will be moving there full time, Facebook Music maybe my new home. This week, I’ll create a Facebook page. Myspace is just too whacked and too mainstream for my tastes. Facebook is less popular than myspace and I like that.

I’ve been trying to write some new songs, been coming up with ideas. I haven’t been playing shows ’cause I want to write new stuff, I get tired of playing the old ones live.

I won’t make a facebook page until I finish recording some new songs on the computer though. I want to show off my new stuff instead of re-releasing my old material.

Just wanted to let you know what’s up with my music.

Thought: “God Of War: Chains of Olympus” brief review…

So I’ve been playing the videogame “God of War: Chains of Olympus” for the small PSP Sony handheld system. I’m at the very end of the game already, I just need to defeat a bunch of enemies before I head to the final and last boss. Most of this game was pretty easy and simple but the end of the game has gotten very tough and such a pain in the ass.

I would like to say that this game is absolutely amazing though, it’s one of the best action/adventure games I ever played. It tells a great story. So much fun to play with cool weapons and cool moves. This game is only available for the PSP for now, I’m sure they’ll make a version for the PS3/Xbox down the road.

If they do make a version for the PS3, I would still buy the same game ’cause I would sure like to play this on a bigger TV screen. I was hoping to beat this game before Grand Theft Auto IV comes out but it looks like I’m not going to. Grand Theft Auto IV comes out tomorrow. Thankfully I have a day off of work tomorrow, so I will go to Saratoga to go to Best Buy.

I have a feeling that Best Buy will be mobbed and packed like hell. Because April 29th is a big release day with Grand Theft Auto IV, Madonna’s “Hard Candy”, and Neil Diamond’s new album. I hope and pray that Grand Theft Auto IV won’t be sold everywhere once I get to Best Buy and the Wilton Mall, that will suck and I would be pissed if it’s sold out that quick. I’m gonna try to get to Best Buy as early as possible though hopefully before the store even opens. I’m sure there’ll be a line of people waiting for the store to open anyways.

Report: Roger Waters play incredible set at Sunday’s Coachella, plays mostly Pink Floyd stuff, releases Giant Pig…

Roger Waters the former Pink Floyd frontman and founder of the band brought Coachella 2008 with a close, he played an incredibly tight set by playing the “Dark Side of the Moon” album in it’s full entirety. He also played all the hits from the legendary album/soundtrack “The Wall”. He also played one other song not off those two albums called “Pigs”, from their 1977 album “Animals”.

Roger Waters gave presidential candidate Barack Obama an endorsement by sending an inflatable pig in the air toward the end of the song. Under the pig was writing “Obama” with a checked ballot box alongside.

As the song came to a close, flames and fireworks burst into the air on stage, Roger says through the mic “That’s my pig”.

Coachella sounds like a great show this year, hope they release this event in a DVD set soon.
