Cool Video: Will we get a violent “Superman” movie next time around???

In Bryan Singer’s “Superman Returns”, there wasn’t much violence, it was pretty much a love story and a family film. Brandon Routh as Superman didn’t really fight at all. Maybe that was the problem with “Superman: Returns”.

In Collider’s interview with Zack Snyder the man himself, he was asked if Superman will punch somebody in the face. Of course, Zack wouldn’t reveal spoilers, but he admitted that he wants to see Superman kick some ass. So there’s a hint for ya that the next Supes flick should have a lot of violence and more fighting.

That’s what I’m hoping too. I’m hoping the next Supes flick will be an action movie. I don’t want Supes just saving people. I want him to do a lot more than that. I want Supes fighting the bad guys. I hope they stay away from the love story with Lois Lane and concentrate on the Superman character. That’s what I want.

We want a fun Superman movie that is fun to see like “Superman II” was with Christopher Reeve. Superman have all those powers for a reason and he needs to use them for a reason. With Christopher Nolan mentoring this movie, I think he’ll want it to be an action movie too.

If they use Brainiac or Dark Seid as the main villain, just imagine the great fight scene they would have in Metropolis. Imagine the sound and special effects. It would be quite a ride.

Zack, Christopher and Warner Bros., want to make Superman fans happy with a good film, and I think they would be successful at that.

Report: “True Lies” sequel might happen after all?

Tom Arnold said, that he and Arnold Schwarzenegger have both read the script for “True Lies 2”, and he really is dying to get it made. He hopes to re-team with Schwarzenegger again.

“True Lies”, was one of my favorite films by Arnold. That be great if they can get Jamie Lee Curtis back and maybe she can do another sexy underwear scene like you see in the pic above. Yes, Jamie Lee is aging and getting older, but she’s still good looking and pretty fit for her age. That be cool if the whole team comes back. I’m all for a “True Lies 2”!

Report: Billy Bob Thornton in negotiations to return to “Bad Santa 2”, confirmed by Weinstein Co.!!!

The Weinstein Co., confirmed that Billy Bob Thornton is in talks to reprise his role as Willie, the short tempered foul mouth drunk, for “Bad Santa 2”.

Full story, here.

Great news! Can’t wait for Bad Santa to return to the big screen! Did you know that this is Billy Bob’s first sequel? It’s true. He’s never really done sequels in his career, ever.

I hope Tony Cox, the midget, comes back too!

Report: Kevin Costner is officially Jonathan Kent aka Pa Kent for Zack Snyder’s “Superman”…

Well, look like everyone’s prediction on who Kevin Costner will play in the new “Superman” was right after all. Costner WILL play Jonathan Kent in the new “Superman” movie. So this means Costner will be starring alongside, Diane Lane, as Superman’s adopted parents. Interesting pairing! I don’t think Kevin and Diane ever starred in a movie together, correct me if I’m wrong.

See the full report, here.

Only thing I’m wondering is, how long will Pa Kent last in the new “Supes” flick? Will Costner be in the movie for a small role or throughout the entire film? I just hope they won’t kill him off like they did in “Superman: The Movie”.

I know this movie is getting a lot of negativity because Zack Snyder is directing, but I have 100% support and trust everything he does for the new “Superman” movie. I know this film is getting people worried, but I think we’ll finally get a great “Superman” movie that everyone will be happy with.

I know people hate Zack Snyder’s film making style, his “slo mo” technique, but that “slo mo” technique will be useful with Superman if you think about it. I bet that’s why Chris Nolan and WB’s wanted Snyder because of his “Slo mo” technique, he can be creative with it for the Superman character when he’s flying.

Now that they have Superman/Clark Kent, Pa, and Ma Kent casted. Next they need to cast someone for Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, Lana Lang, Lex Luthor (if they decide to use Lex), and a choice of villain.

After they cast the actors, then they have to find someone to score the music for the movie, and I still say John Williams should score it.

This is gonna be a good movie, I think.

Report: Liam Neeson, STILL ON for “Taken” sequel!

Well, I’m very glad that Liam Neeson is still on for the, “Taken”, sequel. If he was replaced by a different actor then it’s no longer a , “Taken”, movie. The sequel would have flopped if he wasn’t in it.

Liam was going to drop out of the movie due to scheduling conflicts but he and Luc Besson, have successfully worked out a schedule for Liam to return to the movie. So yes, Liam is still on for the role to reprise his role as, Bryan Mills.

They plan to start filming the sequel sometime at the start of 2012. They are still keeping the plot under wraps.

Read the full story, at Deadline.

The first “Taken” movie is about a father going to rescue his kidnapped daughter himself. What will the next movie be about?

I just hope they do a different storyline next time around. We don’t need Bryan Mills going to rescue somebody else in the next one ’cause it will be a repeat from the first one. Well, if they’re going to call it “Taken 2”, they may as well do another rescue a kidnapped woman storyline. I’m sure they came up with something different, hopefully.

The next one needs to be a hard R rating and more violent too.

BREAKING NEWS: Darren Aronofsky drops out of directing, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” sequel!!!

First Darren Aronofsky drops out of the “Robocop” reboot, next he drops out of the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” sequel. Him and Hugh Jackman seemed very excited and pumped for the project, but Darren no longer wants to do it. Why? Because he thinks filming the movie would keep him out of the USA for too long. He doesn’t want to be away from his family for a long time.

For your information, “Wolverine 2” will be filming in Japan, where the movie will be taken place.

See the full story at, the Hollywood Reporter.

That really is too bad. I was really looking forward to Darren’s take on Wolverine too. The film will suck who ever takes over now. Darren would have made it a great movie too. Sad. 😦

People are already entering the Memento contest!!!

So far three people have officially entered the contest and got the answers exactly right! Hopefully more will enter by next Friday. If this contest is a huge success, then I will do a lot more giveaways down the road. Even if companies don’t ask me to promote something and get an award by them in return, I’ll just go out to Best Buy or the mall and buy prizes myself to give away for the blog. DVD’s/Blu Ray’s/Books/Videogames, etc. Any of that stuff.

I have e-mailed Cinedigm, to mail me two more copies of the “Memento” Blu Ray/Poster. Hopefully they’ll send me a couple of more copies so I don’t just give away one only. I want to make this fair for others.

Contest giveaways is a great idea for my blog and a great way to promote my site too!

Enter the contest by watching this video!

Report: Sean William Scott will do next “American Pie” film for the big screen, not straight to DVD…

Even if Sean William Scott turned himself into a treatment facility for personal reasons, he still signed himself to “American Pie: Reunion”, which he will reunite with Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy. Yes, the whole American Pie gang is coming back. Mena Suvari, Chris Klein and Tara Reid are all in negotiations to return.

More on the story, here.

If the film won’t bring back Allyson Hannigan or Shannon Elizabeth, then I won’t bother seeing it. It’s not an actual reunion without those two women, who helped make the first movie for what it is.

I only liked the first, “American Pie”, film. The rest of them were really bad.

Thought: So the “sci-fi” genre officially made a huge comeback to the movies…

Science Fiction was very popular in the 70’s and throughout the 80’s, but the popularity of the science fiction genre died out in the 90’s. It seems that the popularity of sci fi has risen again this year.

The “Star Trek” reboot, “District 9”, “Avatar”, and next here comes, “Battle Los Angeles”. We have “Cowboys & Aliens” coming soon as well. So there’s your evidence that sci fi have came back in a huge way.

I’m a huge science fiction fan and this genre deserves to get known again. I haven’t seen “Battle Los Angeles” yet but will see it later this week. Now that sci fi is getting huge, maybe this will get people to start watching the classic sci fi movies like: “Metropolis”, “Blade Runner”, “Enemy Mine”, “The Black Hole”, “Dune”, “Explorers”, “The Last Starfighter”, etc. I’m pretty sure some people of today don’t even know about those movies.
