Why is the next “Wolverine” movie titled, “Logan”… there’s gotta be a meaning behind it?

There’s gotta be a special meaning as to why the next Wolverine movie is titled “Logan” instead of “Wolverine: (subtitle here)”. Why has it been simply titled “Logan”? Logan is the Wolverine’s actual first name. Is it because in this movie, he’s no longer the Wolverine? He’s no longer the superhero and no longer does things for people? Maybe he has lost all of his powers and strength so he retired from being the superhero maybe?

If you look at the poster above it looks like a young child is holding the Wolverine’s hand. Does that mean Logan has a kid now? Who did he get the kid with, Jean Grey maybe?

This is supposed to be about an aging Wolverine, I heard which sounds interesting. After seeing all the new Wolverine stuff getting released, I just started thinking about all this. The final Wolverine film that Hugh Jackman will play looks to be a totally different Wolverine than all the films he has played in the past.

I’m already looking forward to the film and I just know the trailer is gonna be great!

Hugh Jackman reveals title of new Wolverine movie and poster released for it too…

Hugh Jackman just revealed the title for the next Wolverine movie. It will also be the final Wolverine movie that Hugh will play. The next Wolverine film will be simply titled, “Logan” and the film is coming out on March 3rd in 2017.

The movie poster was exclusively revealed in NYC on a building as you can see in the photos above. Hugh Jackman himself poses in front of the building.

I’ve seen all the X-Men movies and all the Wolverine films so I’m looking forward to the next one too. I’m a big Wolverine fan. We’ll get a teaser trailer pretty soon.

Film Review: Chappie

Starring: Sharlto Copley, Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, Dev Patel

I know I said I wasn’t gonna see this flick but I guess I’m gonna do a little more flip flopping here and actually went and saw it. Why? Nothing else was playing and wanted to kill some time so I decided to check it out anyway while I was at the mall.

Plot/Synopsis: In the near future, crime is patrolled by an oppressive mechanized police force. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself.

This movie is getting shitted on like crazy by movie critics online. It’s another one of those movies that you either love or hate. It’s actually getting mixed reviews. One thing when I go in and see a movie and then I give my opinion on it, I never listen to the critics. When I give my opinion on movies, I don’t speak for anybody else, I speak for myself.

Surprisingly, this turned out to be a good movie after all! Yes, it did tell a good sci-fi story. It had sci-fi all over it. Don’t listen to the critics. Most of them are full of shit anyways. This movie totally reminded me of Robocop, Short Circuit and Terminator all in one. It definitely had some sci-fi to tell as some of it reminded me of Isaac Asimov stories. Maybe that’s where Blomkamp inspired the story from? It seemed it was Isaac Asimov influenced.

Sharlto Copley did a great job voicing, Chappie, the main character of the film. The character was very enjoyable and entertaining as hell. This robot will remind you of No. 5 from “Short Circuit” absolutely. I’m sure “Short Circuit” was part of the inspiration for this story also.

The rest of the cast was enjoyable as well. I was most impressed with Hugh Jackman’s character ’cause he played a villain in this role. It was interesting seeing Jackman as a villain, he did a good job. Sigourney’s role was also enjoyable.

The movie can be touching, heartwarming, sad, and entertaining all at the same time. The film had plenty of action and violence in it. All the action scenes were a blast to watch. While Chappie did get into some action, keep in mind this film is just an introduction of that character. I’m sure Chappie will get into even more action in the upcoming sequels. It’s looking like this film is gonna end up being a trilogy or a series of films.

The visuals and cinematography was pretty impressive like always. The score was genius.

This turned out to be a good film after all. Pretty decent and worth a look. I’m already looking forward to the sequel. I think this is Neill’s best film so far. A big improvement.

I’ll give “Chappie” a score of 4 out of 5 as in “good”.

Hugh Jackman and the cast and crew of “Pan” does the ice bucket…

Check out Hugh Jackman’s unique ice bucket challenge. The entire cast and crew of the new Peter Pan movie simply titled, “Pan”, in which Hugh plays Black Beard all do the ice bucket together and guess who they just challenged?

Tom Cruise and the entire crew of MI: 5 and JJ Abrams “Star Wars 7”.

I would like to see JJ and the Star Wars crew do it. Maybe they would get the droids R2 and C3PO to join them.

Sam Raimi reveals “The Last of Us” is on it’s way to the big screen for a live action adaptation…

Welp, it’s that time of year again when San Diego Comic Con is happening right now as I write this. SDCC is a comic book/movie convention where fanatics and geeks go there to shop, watch the panels of their favorite movies/TV shows, meet & greet movie stars, etc. You get the deal. At “The Last of Us” panel Sam Raimi the man himself made a surprise appearance at SDCC. He wasn’t invited or anything like that, he just showed up ’cause he simply wanted to.

He surprised fans of the survival horror game with an announcement that “The Last of Us” is on it’s way to the big screen with a live action movie. Sam Raimi is producing and Neil Druckmann is writing the screenplay. There is no director as of yet.

While there are no casting announcements as of yet the most popular choices to play Joel is either Hugh Jackman or Josh Brolin. I agree with Hugh Jackman, he would be perfect for the role. Fans want Maisie Williams who is famous for her “Game of Thrones” role to play the role of Ellie which is also a great choice.

Sam Raimi also announced he’s writing a TV show for “The Evil Dead”.

This is pretty freakin’ sweet! I’m all for this game being made into a big screen movie ’cause the game is great. I played it myself. The story is great and the game play was a blast. After I played this game and beat it, I thought to myself, this game is definitely headed to the big screen. The game felt like a big screen movie.

Most movies adapted from video games are garbage but lets hope they do a good job with this one. I hope they make it real good.

If you’re a video gamer and haven’t played “The Last Of Us”, I’d recommend it!

Cool Video: “The Wolverine” teaser hits the internets…

“The Wolverine” teaser, finally hits the internets today but it’s not what you think. It’s a very tiny teaser, about 16 seconds. I would think every teaser they put out, they would show little bit more at a time, until the official trailer release. From what I’ve seen, though, looks badass, and looks to be action packed. As you can see, the new “Wolverine” movie, is taken place in Japan. I love the Wolverine character. In my opinion, he has always been the best Marvel superhero. I do like the Wolverine in the X-Men, but I’ve always liked him solo, when he’s alone. He’s better that way. More intense. When I was a kid, I used to read a lot of Wolverine comics. Hopefully this film will be better than the piece of shit, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” ’cause that film was really bad. Looking forward to seeing more of the new film!

Cool Photo: Your first official photo of “The Wolverine”!!!

Pretty cool photo of Hugh Jackman as, “The Wolverine”, see it, here. Many would accuse that photo of being photoshopped and airbrush, of course, it was, but I’m sure Hugh Jackman is jacked in real life, though. They just make him look ripped like that for the movies. Hope this film will be better than the crap, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”.

BREAKING NEWS: Darren Aronofsky drops out of directing, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” sequel!!!

First Darren Aronofsky drops out of the “Robocop” reboot, next he drops out of the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” sequel. Him and Hugh Jackman seemed very excited and pumped for the project, but Darren no longer wants to do it. Why? Because he thinks filming the movie would keep him out of the USA for too long. He doesn’t want to be away from his family for a long time.

For your information, “Wolverine 2” will be filming in Japan, where the movie will be taken place.

See the full story at, the Hollywood Reporter.

That really is too bad. I was really looking forward to Darren’s take on Wolverine too. The film will suck who ever takes over now. Darren would have made it a great movie too. Sad. 😦

Report: Hugh Jackman ordered to gain 25 lbs of muscle for “Wolverine” sequel…

Director, Darren Aronofsky ordered Huck Jackman, that he needs to add 25 lbs of muscle, for the next, “Wolverine” film, before they start filming in the Spring. Jackman admits that is going to be very difficult for him to do. He couldn’t figure out how he would do it. So what does he do to find out how? He calls up Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to get fitness advice from. Dwayne gained 25 lbs. of muscle quickly for his role of his new movie, “Faster”. The secret is build muscle for six pound a week, 6,000 calories a day. That means a lot of eating and a lot of hard work in the gym.

I know some people are going to say that this is impossible to do. No one could add 25 lbs of muscle in that quick period of time, but believe it or not, it can be done successfully. How can it be done? Well, I think Hugh Jackman is gonna do a lot of work. Do a lot of brutal training. That means, lots of heavy lifting. Doing lots of cardio. Eating a lot of protein and calories. Maybe supplements too if he plans on doing that. I’m sure Hugh Jackman will hire personal trainers to help him reach that goal.

Jackman is a very built guy, but looks like Aronofsky, wants him to be even more jacked for this role. Sounds like this is going to be a violent action movie. More violent than the last Wolverine movie.

It is possible to gain lbs. of muscle in a quick period of time…because I did it myself. Maybe not 25lbs in one whole year, but I know I gained a 8-10 lbs of muscle quickly. When I first got into bodybuilding, I weighed about 140 lbs. Now I’m 150 lbs, exact. I’m not fat ’cause I eat good and do a lot of cardio, so I know I’m gaining muscle big time. People assume it takes years to build a good physique but if you do it right, you can get some good muscle in a year.

I’m sure Jackman would do this with no problem at all!

Report: Hugh Jackman turns down the Oscars again to work on “Wolverine 2″…

Hugh Jackman, turned down to host the Oscars last year, he turns it down again this year. The reason is simple. He’s getting ready to work on “Wolverine 2” with Darren Aronofsky. I’m glad Hugh hosting the Oscars is just a one off for him. It’s a good move he no longer wants to do it anymore. He belongs in the movies, not hosting award shows.

Read the full story here at, Deadline.

Hugh is the man for that!

As for who I think should host the next Oscars this year, I think Conan O’ Brien would put on a great show. I would also like it if the Academy gave Sacha Baron Cohen, a chance. Lets hope they don’t get Steve Martin again.
