Report: Bill Ward, Black Sabbath drummer, may pull out of reunion due to unsignable contract issues…

The original Black Sabbath drummer, Bill Ward, wrote on his official blog, that he may pull out of the Black Sabbath reunion with original members, that was originally announced on, 11/11/11. He is claiming that he never got a signable contract. He said he will stick to the reunion, if the other guys in the band gives him a signable contract.

More on the story, here.

Bill is just bullshitting like usual. To the fans that are new to Black Sabbath, this wasn’t the first time he bailed out on a reunion. He’s done it plenty of times before. Also, if you read Tony Iommi’s book, “Iron Man”, Tony said that Bill Ward was always a difficult man to deal with. Bill had trouble staying committed to the band in the past. He’s just a selfish and greedy man. I think Bill is all about the money, and not the music. Disrespectful to Tony who now has cancer.

Who needs Bill. Let him go. As long as we have Ozzy and Geezer back, that’s all we need. Some of you may say, no Bill, no Black Sabbath reunion? True that but drummers can always be replaced ’cause they’re not that really important.

I’ve said it before in the blog, that something might happen with Black Sabbath in the future, and I was right. Bill and Tony always had a hard time getting along and it’s still happening.

EDIT TO ADD: I meant to say, “Bill had trouble trying to stay committed to the band”, not Tony. My bad.

Report: Lisa Marie Presley wants to make a new movie on Elvis???

While Lisa Marie just opened a new exhibit at Graceland in Memphis, Tenn., Lisa Marie brought up the idea that she wants to make a new film on her father’s life. She didn’t quite say if it’ll either be a biopic film or just a documentary. She said she’s not happy with all the Hollywood films that was made on Elvis. She says all the films about Elvis failed to capture the truth about  Elvis’s past.

The new exhibit she just opened, mostly focuses on her life as a baby. She wants to show people what it is like living with him, growing up.

More on the story, here.

There’s been too many Elvis movies over the years, and I happen to agree with her, that most of them were garbage. Hollywood needs to make a good Elvis biopic, down the road. I’m sure they will make another one sometime in the future.

You gotta feel bad for Lisa though, that she isn’t able to see her father today.

Thought: Um, why are people mourning, Don Cornelius???

I don’t understand people feeling sorry for the death of, Don Cornelius. He was a legend and an icon for creating the popular show, “Soul Train”, but the guy doesn’t get my respect. What made him want to shoot himself? Well look at his history. The guy was a woman beater. Remember his 2008 arrest for a felony domestic violence charge? I’m pretty sure his ex-wife, Victoria, is now relieved that he’s gone. Plus, suicide is a pretty selfish thing to do. He maybe a legend and a talented man, but that doesn’t make him a good guy. Therefor, this guy doesn’t deserve an obit here on my site.

Kev

EDIT TO ADD: I don’t mean to be an ass, but you gotta look at reality, people. I used to watch “Soul Train” when I was a kid, I used to respect him, yes, but the man had a lot of problems in his personal life. Gotta look at reality, folks.

Report: Neil Young announces new album with Crazy Horse, listen to new song called, “Horse Back”…

Neil Young just posted a new song he recorded with his Crazy Horse band. The song is called, “Horse Back”. Warning, the song is 37 minutes long, just letting you know before you listen to it. Neil’s singing doesn’t start until like 23 minutes into the song, most of it’s just an instrumental jam. I just got done listening through the whole thing. Yes,  I stuck through the entire song from start to finish.

Some of you may or may  not know this that Neil hasn’t released a new album with Crazy Horse since 2003’s, “Greendale”. Yep, it’s been a long time.

The video to “Horse Back” itself is pretty cool. The camera will show you around Neil’s home studio where he recorded that song in. Look like Neil still records everything old school. A lot of old school recording equipment in that studio. You don’t see any computers with Pro Tools rigs at all.

If you look closely in that video toward the middle, the camera will move to a music stand with a microphone in front of it. On the music stand has a bunch of papers with chord charts and lyric sheets, showing you that’s the spot where Neil usually performs his songs in the studio.

I’m a huge Neil Young fan. Not much on Neil Young’s site for now, but look like he’s changing it to announce some big news. He’s probably going to announce the return of Crazy Horse. I’m always looking forward to new music by Neil, so you can betcha, I’m looking forward to his next album.

Listen to the new song, here.
