What took the music industry so long to finally see that music fans in youtube are stealing songs to make their own videos? Yes, the industry is still doing whatever it takes to respect the label’s artists and the music. Warner Bros. music has ordered youtube, the self uploading video site to remove any video that has songs that are owned by Warner Bros. music.
They don’t care whether it’s Metallica or Madonna or Kid Rock, they’re going to remove everything in youtube. They don’t care if it’s fans uploading their music videos or just regular audio youtube tracks (like those videos where you see just a photo and a song playing), or even a fan making their own videoblog with a Warner Bros. music artist playing in the background…it’ll all be gone.

It’s actually good that they’re doing this. Whether you’re using songs or music videos for your own use, it is still considered to be piracy.
I mean, there are people in youtube uploading an entire album of music artists all over the place. What those people in youtube, think they are doing is okay and fine, but the reality is, it’s not.
If you claim to like music so much and care for an artists talent, respect their work by not leaking it on the net. A lot of people out there don’t understand anything about “copyrights”, that’s why fans think what they are doing is okay when it’s really not. I think, if you’re going to be a die hard music lover, you should know about copyrights and respecting other artists work.
