I’m sure the band would have loved to have their final gig at the CBGB’s the venue where they started at in the first place but since the place is dead, they may as well have it at MSG.

Pretty cool. Sounds like a cool place to watch live music.

I wonder if B.B. King himself played a gig at his own club yet? I’m sure he played at the grand opening though, not sure.

Cool Video: Tay Zonday sings “Pork and Beans” with Brian Bell of Weezer!

Here’s a fuckin’ cool video of the real Tay Zonday himself actually singing with Weezer guitarist Brian Bell, singing the song “Pork and Beans”. I’ll be honest that Tay actually sings it better than Rivers. NO JOKE! This fuckin’ rules! Maybe Tay should have been the one singing the lead of this song on the album instead of Rivers!!!!

Weezer must be huge Tay Zonday fans indeed!

The Listening Room: Check out this excellent band…Plumerai…

It was an honor to share the stage with this band over the weekend at P4th, I thought this band was fantastic and impressive. One of the better out of state bands I’ve heard in a long while.

Check out Plumerai here:

They rock! I listened to their CD “Without Number” twice, if you live in Boston, definitely check them out at a club near you! This band will not bore you!

Plus, the lead singer Elizabeth Ezell is smoking hot!

Ozzy Osbourne successfully won a lawsuit over a newspaper that claimed he was ill at this year’s Brit Awards. Ozzy got angry and fired back at the newspaper by slapping them a libel lawsuit. Ozzy said it wasn’t true that he was ill at the Brit Awards, he was perfectly fine. Ozzy won the lawsuit after the newspaper admitted they were wrong, they apologized to the legendary rocker and Ozzy kindly accepted the paper’s apology. The paper agreed to pay the libel damages.

It’s nice to see a company admit their mistakes. This is a lesson to be learned that you do not mess with Ozzy!

Report: Metallica, the Guitar Hero videogame for 2009???

First Aerosmith for Guitar Hero, and now Metallica is reportedly saying that they may release their own version of a Guitar Hero videogame that is dedicated to all Metallica songs.

Reports like this:

http://www.nme.com/news/metallica/37067

…confirms that Gamespot says Metallica will release a Guitar Hero videogame in 2009.

However, on Metallica’s official website, they gave it a hint that rumours has been leaked but they still keep things underwraps not really confirming it saying it “might” actually happen.

The band says “more details later this summer” so it must be true.

Will other legendary bands follow suit of their own Guitar Hero videogame? Why don’t Led Zeppelin make one? Maybe Ac/Dc or Black Sabbath/Ozzy?

Yep, more evidence that the industry is dying. All the pop megastars are dropping off to go indie.

BREAKING NEWS: Yoko loses lawsuit battle against use of “Imagine” for Ben Stein’s movie…

Oh my, it’s very rare that Yoko loses to a lawsuit battle out of all the millions of lawsuits she files over the years, but yep, this is one of the ones she loses after filing it herself with her sons Julian and Sean.

The judge says “no” to winning the rights because he proves the song “Imagine” being used for the film that it’s in the favor of a “fair use” doctrine. Which basically means, if the song is in use for criticism and commentary, it is not an infrigement of copyright.

More on it here:

There, take that Yoko, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
