Martin Scorsese stands up for the 1st Amendment by cancelling the Bill Clinton documentary…

Legendary filmmaker, Martin Scorsese has a slew of documentaries to make and the Bill Clinton documentary is one of them. The documentary was almost done but Scorsese shelved the project ’cause he felt he was getting controlled and bullied by none other than Bill Clinton himself.

What Mr. Scorsese did here was pretty amazing. He stood up for the 1st amendment. Martin probably thought to himself, “Man, fuck this bullshit. These guys are on their own”.

I wonder what was it that Bill didn’t want in the film? Probably all the Monica Lewinsky stuff I bet.

I love Martin Scorsese, though, he’s one of my favorite film maker of all time. He has made a lot of good movies. I don’t think I have seen any of his documentaries yet, though.

Justin Bieber to get roasted on Comedy Central’s “The Roast”…

Like most, I’m not a fan of Justin Bieber but I’m probably gonna watch this. Justin Bieber finally gonna get roasted on Comedy Central by other comedians, actors and celebrities.

Do you think Biebs could handle this? The comedians aren’t gonna be so kind to him for sure. All the comedians are probably gonna insult him and make fun of him the whole time. He’s gonna face a lot of harsh criticism about his hard partying, drinking alcohol, smoking weed, girls and all that stuff. Somebody’s gonna bring up Biebs getting carried on the Great Wall of China, remember that?

It could be a good show and funny as hell. I’m sure Comedy Central is happy as hell that they finally got him. This is gonna be a ratings boost for sure.

Say What? Next installment of “24” without Kiefer???

Interesting! Looks like Kiefer finally wants to be done with “24” and move on. I can’t blame the guy ’cause he has played the character, Jack Bauer, for over a decade and he must be finally sick of it! Well, FOX announced that they are in talks of doing more 24 but without Kiefer. However, though, they made it clear they are not “moving on without him” so he might be up for more appearances but they just want to try to do something without him. Kiefer himself is all cool with them doing something new without him.

The next installment is probably gonna be taken place in Russia but I don’t wanna reveal any big spoilers of “Live Another Day”.

Who’s gonna take over the leading role when Kiefer leaves? Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) can’t fight terrorists all by herself so they’re gonna have to find a new male lead. The new male lead is gonna be tough to top Kiefer. The new male lead will need to be a badass and it will be tough to find.

Could a “24” without Kiefer be successful? I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see.

“24” is my favorite franchise, though. I’m willing to give a Kiefer-less “24” a try!

The article says that the character Audrey is also set to return but I wonder if Benjamin Horne, Donna and James  are coming back? What about Shelly? I’m sure we’ll get the whole “Twin Peaks” gang. I wonder if Sheriff Truman is gonna return too?

So why Billy Dee Williams reprising his role as Lando for “Rebels” animated series instead of “The Force Awakens”???

Star Wars fanatics begged for the return of Lando Calrissian played by Billy Dee Williams for the “Force Awakens” live action movie directed by JJ Abrams but fans were disappointed that they learned that Disney neglected Billy Dee. So far, there was no explanation from Disney/JJ camp as to why Billy Dee wasn’t brought back to play Lando for “The Force Awakens” film. Even Billy Dee himself didn’t explain.

Turns out that Billy Dee have agreed to return to his iconic role as Lando for the “Rebels” animated TV series instead.

A lot of fans are questioning this move.

I think I know why this is ’cause after doing a little google search, I learned that Billy Dee pulled out of “Dancing With the Stars” ’cause he had major back problems.

So I thought to myself…. maybe that’s why. It’s looking like Billy Dee can’t do live action movies anymore ’cause of his bad back so that’s why he agreed to do the animated version of Lando instead. This was just Disney/Lucasfilm’s way of letting fans know that Lando isn’t being ignored as a way to keep them happy.

Hell, maybe Billy Dee not being in the “Force Awakens” had nothing to do with his bad back? Maybe JJ just didn’t have a storyline for Lando so he wasn’t written in the script at all. Maybe Lando wasn’t needed?

I’m sure we’ll get an answer soon on the real reason why Lando is not in “The Force Awakens” once these guys start doing interviews for the press to help promote the movie and the “Rebels” TV series.

Sorry but I’m with everyone that a live action Star Wars movie without Lando, there’s something wrong there. Maybe Lando still has a surprise cameo in “The Force Awakens”, who knows??? JJ is always up for surprises.

Great news!!! I was hoping Kyle would return ’cause we need an explanation of that ending of Season 2. Now we need Ray Wise to return as Leland Palmer ’cause he was a pretty important part of that story.

I rarely comment on Best & Worst Dressed bullshit at Award shows but I couldn’t resist this one. Jessica Chastain is a jaw-dropper here. I’d say she was the Best dressed for sure.

She’s been my favorite actress as of late. Remember, she was in movies like “The Help”, “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Interstellar”.

This woman is a hottie indeed and I dig them redheads. I wouldn’t mind dating a redhead myself.

I didn’t watch the Golden Globes, by the way. I’m pretty much done with award shows, I think. Still trying to debate whether or not I should watch this year’s Oscars ’cause they’ve been disappointing for the last several years as well.

… JJ Abrams and Chris Pine. Cheryl Boone Isaacs and director Alfonso Cuaron will also help announce the nominees.

This year’s Oscars should be interesting. What will be the Best Picture nominees?

“American Sniper” maybe. I also think the “Theory of Everything” is gonna get a nod ’cause of Stephen Hawking. “Birdman” could also get a nod for “Best Picture.

What about “Gone Girl” and “Interstellar”??? I’m hoping but I doubt it, though.

I haven’t seen “American Sniper” yet but I’m gonna see it next week, hopefully. “American Sniper” comes out in theaters everywhere next Friday on Jan. 16th so I’ll see it then.

While I would like “American Sniper” to get the Best Picture win, I don’t think it’s gonna happen. I wouldn’t be surprised that the Best Picture win will probably end up going to that Stephen Hawking movie. I know the Oscars love those sad and powerful emotional drama type of movies. That’s what they mostly go for instead of the sci-fi and action films.

While Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” was the best Marvel film and I think it’s one of the best superhero films of all time… it’s not gonna get a best picture nod ’cause the Oscars aren’t into those kind of movies. Once again, they mostly go for the sad and powerful drama type of movies.

It’s gonna be interesting to see the nominees next week.

I hate most award shows but I continue to watch the Oscars every year since I’m a huge movie buff and all.

“Marco Polo” Season 2 announced but no release date yet…

Such a great show. Recommended watching so if you have Netflix, go start watching the first season NOW! It’s way better than “Game of Thrones”, in my opinion. I don’t see how people can compare the two shows ’cause they are nothing like each other. They are both different in a way.

The stories and characters are awesome. Plus, you’ll see tons of hot naked Asian women all over it which I’m sure you don’t see that anywhere else.

“Marco Polo” is a great show and looking forward to Season 2 for sure!

Golden Globes nominees are out… “Birdman” leads nominations…

I haven’t seen “Birdman” with Michael Keaton yet but the film does look good and I do wanna see it. I’ll have to see that film when it comes out on DVD.

Anyway, here are the Golden Globes nominees… this is what the Oscars might look like too.

I haven’t seen a lot of those movies to be honest with you.

I do hope Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright wins for “House of Cards” ’cause that’s a really good show.

I also hope the film, “Ida” wins for “Best Foreign Film” ’cause that’s a really good movie. It’s on Netflix streaming if you wanna check it out. That film maybe a bit slow pacing but a really good story and powerful. I might watch it again this weekend. “Ida” is probably gonna get a nomination for the Oscars as well.

I have never even seen the HBO show, “True Detective” at all but I was meaning to check it out.
