Report: Slash hints Jimi Hendrix may get his own Guitar Hero game…

Slash had an interview with Rollingstone and he talked about how he was the one who talked Aerosmith into getting their own Guitar Hero game. He also said that Activision is currently working on Jimi Hendrix getting his own video game.

Activision has kept their mouth shut on whether Hendrix will get a game or not, but I’ll keep an eye on this news.

I hope it’s true that Hendrix is getting a Guitar Hero, I’d buy it if it comes out.

We all now know that Led Zeppelin will never do a Guitar Hero because they don’t want their music used for video games.

I would like Ac/Dc or Nirvana to get their own game too.

Metal Gear Solid 4

So I’ve finally started playing the video game “Metal Gear Solid 4” for the Ps3 for the past 4 or 5 days. The game is absolutely amazing. Great graphics and it almost feels like a movie. I’m playing this game in the “Solid: Normal” level so I can learn how to do the controls and get the hang of things first before I play the difficult mode. Once I beat the game in the “Normal” mode, then I’ll play the game over again by trying to beat the “difficult” mode. The game is killer though. Great action, good story. I’m already getting kind of far in the game. Even in the “normal” mode, the game is still pretty challenging and difficult.

I’ve been saving up money for a new TV so my video games can look better. I’m going for a 37 inch flat screen plasma TV with High Definition. I don’t need a big 50 inch flat screen, 37 is big enough for me. Best Buy has great prices on flat screen plasmas, when I come up with the cash soon, I’ll go for the 37 inch flat screen TV then.

I don’t watch a lot of cable TV (only a few shows), I’m just getting a new TV soon so my video games can look better and to watch movies on of course. I just want a better look and better sound for video gaming. Video games looks and sounds fine on a regular TV, but I want something even better. Get into the gaming experience!

Report: Activision denied Brett Ratner’s permission to make “Guitar Hero” live action film…

Since film maker Brett Ratner has expressed his interest in making a live action “Guitar Hero” film adapted from the hit video game, Ratner himself asked Activision if he could make a film on it. Well, Activision says NO!

Although Activision didn’t give Ratner permission to make the film, he isn’t giving up and he’s going to continue to pursue it.

Way to go Activision! Yeah!

I don’t want Hollywood making a Guitar Hero movie at all no matter who’s directing it. It would kill the sales of the video games and hurt the music industry themselves.

Activision did a smart move here!

Report: Brett Ratner wants to make a film based on Guitar Hero video games…

The X-Men and Rush Hour director Brett Ratner spoke with MTV News announcing that he is dying to make a film adapted from the Guitar Hero video games. He says he is a huge fan of the Guitar Hero games and he loves playing the games himself.

He already has a plot idea for the film and he says the film will be about a kid who lives in a small town, he dreams of being a real life rock star, his dream comes true by winning a Guitar Hero game competition.

Brett Ratner not only wants to direct “Guitar Hero” film, he also maybe be on board to direct another popular video game into a movie which is the “God Of War” video game to be made into a film.

Activision should not let Hollywood do a movie on Guitar Hero. The videogames market the Guitar Hero franchise on their own fine, they don’t need Hollywood movies.

And on top of that, a Guitar Hero movie would suck anyways, no matter who is directing it.

Oh my, I’ve heard of Final Fantasy, I’ve never played one of those games in my life. But after hearing this, makes me want to buy Final Fantasy XI for the PS3. The Final Fantasy game franchise is extremely popular though, that’s why the sequels keep going.

Report: New Lara Croft actress for “Tomb Raider: Underworld” video game announced…

Pictured above is a british gymnast named Alison Carrol. She plays Lara Croft in the upcoming “Tomb Raider: Underworld” video game soon to be released for the PS3/Xbox that was announced by the Eidos game publishing company. She does the voice over and plays the character for the game because game makers were impressed with her gynmastics because the Lara Croft character requires a lot of leg and feet work to climb mountains and really high cliffs and stuff.

Alison Carrol is not a famous person, she’s no model or never had an acting role in a video game, TV or movie in her life before. Before Alison Carrol, Rhona Mitra was the actress of the Lara Croft character for the video games since 1997 look like Rhona is no longer playing the character.
