Will we ever get a human mission to Mars? I’m sure we will but not right away…

After reading the book and seeing the movie to “The Martian”, will we ever get a man mission to Mars? I’m sure we will but it won’t be right away. It’ll take many more years to figure it out, though.

For one, Mars is way too far from Earth. They would need a vehicle that is capable of travelling to Mars safely. It could be a very dangerous trip to get there. They would need to find a way to protect themselves from all that radiation and stuff like that. Mars is like 54.6 million kilometers from Earth which is pretty damn far. They did send probes over there but it can take between 200 to 300 days to get it over there.

A manned mission to Mars will be very difficult. It’ll be difficult to leave Earth to travel to Mars and it’ll be difficult for Astronauts to survive. Meaning needing lots of fuel, supplies, food, etc.

When they actually get to Mars, they would need to build a good enough protective suit where it can be safe to walk around on Mars ’cause you never know how dangerous it is. You can’t just put on any random astronaut suit and walk around Mars ’cause it could kill you. You’ll have to know what the air is gonna be like and everything else. Plus there’s all kinds of dust storms on the planet as well. You don’t know how safe it is to walk around on the ground on Mars.

Mars is an extremely cold planet so they would need an astronaut suit that is warm enough to walk around on which the technology could be difficult and challenging.

If they were to do a manned mission to Mars, they would need to do a lot of testing so I would think they would start sending animals over there first.

Travelling to Mars, landing on Mars and leaving Mars would all be pretty risky so it’s gonna take years of investigation. Sending all those probes over there is just the beginning of it. NASA was successful at travelling to the Moon ’cause it was easier and closer.

We’ll probably get a real life Mark Watney sometime in the future but not at this time.

NASA to reveal all for “Star Wars Episode VII”???

The official Star Wars page just dropped this video in facebook. Look like Disney got NASA to announce the news for “Star Wars 7”: cast, plot, and title. Even though the video doesn’t confirm that May the 4th will be about “Star Wars 7”, the R2D2 appearance in the video kind of hints at it.

Like most people, I think May 4th is the day they will reveal all for “Star Wars 7”. May the 4th is just 6 days away.

Why it’s impossible for humans to go to Mars…

I remember a long while back in my blog — maybe last year or the year before — I was trying to explain that humans won’t be going to Mars anytime soon. I tried explaining to you guys that going to Mars will not be as easy as going to the Moon was. Astronauts was able to travel to the moon safely well ’cause it was easier. Mars would be more difficult and challenging. Sure, I’m sure astronauts can successfully go to Mars, explore the planet’s surface, and leave the planet alive; however, you may not survive when you return to Earth. Why? Radiation is key. It means humans can get cancer travelling to and from Mars. I tried explaining how dangerous it would be to go to Mars but sure enough people had exact opposites of opinion and they think going to Mars would be a piece of cake. If you really think that, then you’re delusional.

In order for humans to travel to Mars safely it would take years and years of research and investigation. While NASA and Russia both have been investigating ways of how humans can go to Mars, this is only the beginning. It’s only getting started. It takes small baby steps to get there so getting to Mars safely won’t happen overnight.

They are able to send probes and robots to Mars ’cause they’re obviously not living things. Even if they are able to figure out a way for humans to travel to Mars safer, you just never how dangerous it would be on the planet surface as well. You can’t just wear a regular astronaut suit and walk around the surface. This is not Star Trek or those whacky sci-fi films where humans can stand on any planet as they please.

So when will we get our first human to step on Mars? I would say not for another 100 years or probably never at all. The planet surface may seem like it’s safe to walk around but you never know that there could be dangerous life-forms on that planet that could kill you easily. I’m not saying that there could be aliens like from the movies on Mars but they could have lifeforms in chemical form. You never know how dangerous the air is or the planet’s temperature and all that stuff. It may have been discovered that the planet has water and ice but that still doesn’t mean it’s a possibility that it could be safe.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see our first human step on Mars. It would be an amazing and history making moment but it won’t happen anytime soon or never at all. It is fun to investigate the planets surface with the probes though. NASA is just starting to explain that going to Mars would be impossible because of the radiation like I’ve been saying a long time ago.

More on the Mission To Mars…

I’ve talked about the topic of Mars before on my site. A lot of people mistakenly believe that it would be pretty easy for NASA to travel to Mars and have a human being step on Mars safely, without any harm and successfully leave the planet after exploring it. If you think it’s easy, why don’t you try it. Go to MARS yourself and step on the planet, I’m positive you would be dead in a flash

I can think of several reasons why Mars would be a dangerous planet, and why it would take years and years of investigation for a human being to successfully step on Mars for the first time.

  • The planet could either be cold or hot at the same time – Yeah, I know that the further a planet is away from the sun the colder it gets, but Mars sounds like it may be pretty hot at times too since the planet could be volcanic. There has been lava flow sightings on the planet before as I said.
  • The planet could have dangerous dust storms – The planet is very dusty and dirty, there’s very strong winds on the planet at times, which I bet a human being couldn’t handle no matter what kind of astronaut suit you wear.
  • There could be aliens on the planet – You may say there’s no such thing but there could be lifeforms on the planet. You may never know what’s around.
  • Mars has a pretty thin atmosphere – There you go, here’s the big reason why it would be impossible to make it on Mars. It’s said that it’s full of methane which could be dangerous for human, could cause asphyxiation.
  • Radiation – That’s another big one, the cosmic rays. I read that could give humans cancer.
  • Food and Shelter – How is NASA going to survive without food and shelter on MARS? That maybe pretty risky if you think about it.
  • The air may not be safe to breathe, not enough for a human to take – I’m sure NASA would build a breathe-able enough suit where you can survive on Mars, but still pretty risky.

I can go on people. If you think it’s easy for NASA to send someone over to step on Mars, then you’re delusional. It would probably happen someday, yes, like I said, but it won’t happen anytime soon. It’ll probably happen in 2030 or later. In my opinion, we don’t have the technology to do it right now.

It’s not easy as some of you think it is. I would like it to happen yes, it would be wonderful. I’m sure other planets in our solar system are just as dangerous too. Just wanted to give you a bit of a reality check.

NASA shows photos of the surface of Mars since successful Mars Rover Curiosity landing….

Since Mars Rover Curiosity successfully landed without harm, it’s been investigating it’s planet surface by taking actual photos of planet Mars. Mars looks pretty cool. It’s nothing but land covered with stones, and there are mountains as well. Looks like a planet surface that you see from the original Star Trek series.

See the photos, here.

I used to say it would be impossible for a human to step on Mars, but it could be possible since Mars Rover Curiosity successfully landed. While it may not be safe for a human being to step on Mars, all it would take is careful investigation. NASA is taking small baby steps, and Mars Rover Curiosity is only the beginning. It’s going to be a long and difficult investigation to figure out how a human is going to survive on Mars. Hell, the planet may not even be that dangerous at all and may be okay for a human to step on Mars with no problem, but it’s pretty unlikely.

You can’t just step on Mars in a regular astronaut suit (or without one) or you could die in a second.

I’m sure a human being will step on Mars someday, it just won’t happen right away. It would be a history making moment if it ever happens though

Report: Aliens do exist after all???

Earlier this afternoon, NASA made the shocking announcement that there could be Alien Life Forms after all these years. Over the many years that Earth has been around, there has been speculation that there might be aliens from outer space and other galaxies, making their way to Earth. All these stories in UFO’s and fictional movies doing stories on aliens (“Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “E.T.”, “Communion”, “Cocoon”, etc.). It seems official that aliens could be real.

NASA found bacteria arsenic in the poisonous Mono lakes in California. Read all about it, here.

Interesting! I’ve always believed in aliens. Not sure if aliens look like what you see above, but the bacteria is evidence that aliens could be real. What do you think? Do you believe NASA or they could be full of shit? Just to get some attention in the news?

Going to planet Mars won’t be easy…

I am noticing that many people online claim that going to Mars, to land there and explore the planet will be just as easy as going to the Earth’s moon. Wrong. You see, Mars is not the moon. I can go googling plenty of information on how difficult and dangerous it can be travelling to Mars.

This article here hit the nail on the head:

http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/290768

It may be easy to travel to the Moon, but Mars is a totally different story.

From the article itself on how it would be difficult travelling to Mars:

1. Distances are extreme range for any possible backup to a Mars mission.

2. It’s a long trip, using rockets. A better drive would be required.

3. The resources required have to fit into the equivalent of a tin can, and move back and forth between orbits.

4. Survival systems for both the trip and landing have to be excellent, better than anything previous.

5. Navigation and landing can’t be taken for granted, either. Landing probes has been problematic in the past.

6. Micro dust which is all pervasive, and a probable threat to equipment.

7. It’s ultra expensive.

I mean think about it, do you think NASA can just blast a US Space Shuttle or a regular rocket and just travel to Mars that way? No. NASA would have to build a better space craft than that. Which would take years and lots of money to build an appropriate space craft that would be capable enough of going to Mars.

They would need a space craft that can protect them from radiation.

http://www.astrobio.net/exclusive/2122/how-safe-is-travel-to-mars

If you read the article carefully there is something called GCR in space which is a supernova explosions that travel at the speed of light, it can also cause cancer through your body.

All of this will take years of investigation and research. You can’t just get in a rocket or a space shuttle and just go.

Also, it can even be very dangerous even if astronauts are walking around on Mars. If you look up Mars resource, there are volcanoes, not only that, Mars is known to having really strong dust storms. Think how that would be like if astronauts are walking around on Mars and suddenly a huge dust storm blows past them. After they’re done exploring Mars and ready to go home (if they can make it out alive), they also need to research a safe way exiting Mars. They might find a way to land on the planet, but leaving Mars might be a bit challenging.

What if the space craft gets broken down and it needs repairing. NASA won’t be able to travel to Mars to give them the equipment they need to fix the space craft. It could break down on their way into the planet before the landing. It could happen to the same when leaving.

Hey, don’t get me wrong. I want to see the first humans walking around Mars successfully as people would want that dream to happen, I think it would be fantastic. It would make world history, indeed. Just don’t expect this to happen right away. The Earth’s moon was successful ’cause it was easier and closer. Mars is a totally different thing. I just don’t think it’ll ever happen. People just need to quit living in their fantasy worlds and look at reality for once.

BREAKING NEWS: Obama confirms mission to Mars…

With even more shocking news, this time it’s in the world of politics and science. Today, Obama confirms NASA will be able to go to Mars.

More on it here:

http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/04/15/obama-details-revised-nasa-vision/

We all know who the first man to stop on Earth’s moon and that is no one other than Neil Armstrong. Who will be the first human being to step on Mars? The first human being stepping on Mars would make world history indeed but to be honest, I don’t want Nasa exploiting Mars at all. They should leave the planet well left alone. Obama wants peace with Americans? Well he should let Mars have peace too. If NASA exploits Mars, that would make ’em terrorists.

My question is if they are going to experiment human beings stepping foot on Mars, how are they going to make it out alive? You can’t just walk on planet Mars with just an astronaut suit, that’s gonna kill ya. Mars isn’t the moon. They need to discover what kind of things that are in Mars where a human can survive the planet. Like what kind of air the planet has or the planet has no air at all. They need to know how hot the planet is to step on and all that. Considering Mars is the fourth planet from the Solar System away from the Sun I would imagine it would be fucking HOT. Not just HOT as you feel in the summer time, but if any human steps on Mars without protection, you’d probably be fried into ashes very quickly.

An astronaut would probably need some sort of protection suit that is very cold in order to survive that planet. I’d be surprsied if the first person leaves Mars alive. I don’t think Nasa will ever find a way for a human to survive that planet. Even if they do find some protection that will make a human live on Mars, you just never know how dangerous Mars is to be walking around that planet. What if some giant alien comes out of the ground and swallows you. Aaaaahhh, that stuff is in the movies, but still though never know if there are creatures on that planet. There could be alien life forms living on Mars, you just never know.

I wish Nasa luck. They’re going to need a lot of it. Stepping foot on Mars won’t happen right away, it’ll take years of investigation.

Report: Captain Kirks and Darth Vaders to provide voice overs for 3D animated, “Quantum Quest”…

The NASA space program has announced, they are working on a 3D animated movie titled, “Quantum Quest”. NASA has recently signed the two Captain Kirk actors William Shatner and Chris Pine, also the two Darth Vader actors Hayden Christensen and James Earl Jones to provide the leading voice overs for “Quantum Quest”.

Also in the cast are: Samuel L. Jackson, Amanda Peet, Jason Alexander (“Seinfeld” actor), Sandra Oh, Mark Hamill, Spencer Breslin, and the real life astronaut, the first human being to step on the moon ever, Neil Armstrong, will also provide voice overs for this animated film.

While Shatner missed out the opportunity to star in JJ Abrams “Star Trek”, at least he’ll get the opportunity to star in a film with Chris Pine is better than nothing.

Variety Reports:
