“HBO Now” to officially put Netflix to an end??? I’m already feeling it…

The reason that there are no HBO shows streamable for Netflix is because HBO and Netflix have never been on good terms. Both companies have been feuding for a long while now. I think the only reason that HBO is releasing “HBO Now” is to compete with Netflix obviously. The subscription prices for “HBO Now” cost $14.99 a month which is a lot cheaper than Netflix. “Netflix” costs $18 per month. “HBO Now” will be Apple TV exclusive for now but the service will be made available for all devices soon.

Will I get HBO Now whenever it’s made available for the Ipad and the video game consoles? Not sure yet. The only reason I would get it for is “Game of Thrones” ’cause it’s my favorite show. I would also get it for “The Sopranos” ’cause you know they’re gonna stream all their old HBO shows on there like “Dream On”, “Sex and the City” and all that stuff.

I have a feeling that Netflix will quickly be a thing of the past and everyone will switch to “HBO Now”. “HBO Now” is already getting a lot of buzz.

The new Pee Wee film produced by Judd Apatow to be titled, “Pee Wee’s Big Holiday”…

More details have been revealed for the upcoming new Pee Wee film which will be exclusively released for Netflix streaming. The new Pee Wee film will be titled, “Pee Wee’s Big Holiday”. The movie will be about Pee Wee having a fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger that inspires him to take his first Holiday.

The film will be directed by John Lee and the script was written by Paul Reubens himself and Paul Rust. The crew plans to start shooting in March.

BOWTIE IS THE NEW BLACK: ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday’ To Premiere On Netflix!

As a big Pee Wee fan myself, I’m really looking forward to it. As a matter of fact, I just re-watched, “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” and “Big Top Pee Wee” on Netflix streaming not too long ago. Even though “Big Top Pee Wee” got mostly negative reviews, I still liked the film. Not bad as people made it out to be. I liked, “Big Top Pee Wee” ’cause it was different. In “Big Top Pee Wee”, he’s a farmer, scientist, circus performer and womanizer! “Big Top Pee Wee” is also a love story so it was different than “Big Adventure”. I plan on watching “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” on Netflix too.

I’m looking forward to “Pee Wee’s Big Holiday”, sounds like it’s aiming toward the “Big Adventure” feel which is cool!

In the new Pee Wee film, I hope we see some familiar faces and interesting cameos. Would be cool to see E.G. Daily back as Dottie and hopefully Mark Holton returns as Francis too! We’ll have to wait and see.

Can’t wait for “Pee Wee’s Big Holiday”!!!!

Stephen King’s “A Good Marriage”… a movie worth checking out!!!

Over the weekend, I’ve watched Stephen King’s, “A Good Marriage” on Netflix streaming. I actually liked it a lot! I had to watch it twice over the weekend. The movie is based upon the short novella written by King himself and he also wrote the screenplay for the film version.

This story is about a woman who is married to a man for over 20 years and then she finds out his dark secret. He’s a serial killer!!! Yep, she married a guy and raised a family and after all this time never knew about his serial killer past.

I loved the story because this is something that could happen for real. It already did happen for real because Stephen admits he inspired this story from the real life Dennis Rader BTK case.

Some of you know that I enjoy serial killer fiction which inspired my, “Evil Fred” song.

“A Good Marriage” by Stephen King didn’t get a lot of positive reviews but I actually loved it. Surprisingly, the book and the movie were pretty much the same except the ending from both is slightly different.

“A Good Marriage” was surprisingly enjoyable. It seemed pretty realistic and this could happen to anybody. This story makes me never wanna get married ’cause you never know if your lover will have a dark past. HA, just kidding.

This movie is worth a look! Check it out!

“Marco Polo” Season 2 announced but no release date yet…

Such a great show. Recommended watching so if you have Netflix, go start watching the first season NOW! It’s way better than “Game of Thrones”, in my opinion. I don’t see how people can compare the two shows ’cause they are nothing like each other. They are both different in a way.

The stories and characters are awesome. Plus, you’ll see tons of hot naked Asian women all over it which I’m sure you don’t see that anywhere else.

“Marco Polo” is a great show and looking forward to Season 2 for sure!

“Marco Polo” on Netflix really is a great show, it’s recommended seeing…

http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/70305883?awkeyword=%2Bmarco+%2Bpolo&awmatchtype=b&awnetwork=g&awposition=1t1&awdevice=c&gclid=CjwKEAiA5qOlBRDAn8K5qen65joSJADRvlbqXNUIhyFJo-cAB_tgV1Q4EWcIcG7-OdlYtn1vUXxMthoCWqbw_wcB&mqso=81743335&awcreative=59804040179

I’ve grown interest into watching “Marco Polo” the Netflix exclusive show because each time I go to the movie theaters at Bowtie Cinemas, the theaters would show trailers and behind the scenes footage of this show before the movie starts. So I figure… well, this show is looking interesting, I should check it out. So I spent all-week watching this show on Netflix. I would watch like two episodes a night. I’m all done with the first season now and it was a really good show.

The show obviously tells the real-life story of Marco Polo, a biopic show pretty much??? This show is taken place during Medieval China which would be taken place around the 1200 – 1300 years.

I was pretty impressed with the writing and the cinematography of this show. Acting by the cast was really good too. The story kept you watching and kept you hooked. There’s a lot of action and violence throughout this show. If you like sword fighting, martial arts and combat, you’ll probably dig this show. Plus, this show is full of sex and naked women all over it. If you like naked Asian women then that would help you dig this show even more. Some of you probably wonder why this show is sex obsessed but I would think that’s how it was back in those days in China. Back then there was no such law against hookers and brothels, ya know?

It is a great show and definitely worth checking out. Yet, another great Netflix exclusive TV show. First, “House of Cards” and now “Marco Polo”. I’m a fan of “Marco Polo” now and it makes me want to read more into the Marco Polo history. I hope they make a Season 2 and they probably will.

Definitely a score of 5 out of 5 as “excellent”.

Next Pee Wee movie will be Netflix streaming exclusive!!!

The third installment to the Pee Wee Herman franchise will not be heading to the big screen in theaters sadly but the Judd Appatow produced Pee Wee film will be heading to the small instead. The next Pee Wee film will be Netflix streaming exclusive in 2015. Judd Appatow and the team are nearing a deal with the Netflix staff.

Universal Studios was going to release the film but the studio had some distributing difficulties so they’re not gonna release it for whatever reason.

And yes, Paul Reubens is going to reprise his legendary role as Pee Wee, which is good. I can’t see no one else playing Pee Wee but Paul. I remember Paul thinking about having Johnny Depp play Pee Wee and that wouldn’t be right. Paul Reubens is Pee Wee Herman. Nobody else.

The plot and cast of characters are being kept under wraps for the new Pee Wee film but I’m sure we’ll find out soon.

Now I know why “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” and “Big Top Pee Wee” were made available for streaming on Netflix. How come “Big Adventure” isn’t made for streaming yet? Oh well… I have “Big Adventure” on DVD anyway and I’ve seen the film hundreds of times.

Yeah, I’m a pretty big Pee Wee fan and ain’t ashamed of it. He’s just a very entertaining character and I’m glad he came back.

Netflix streaming titles coming for month of January: “Friends” sitcom coming New Years Day!!!

I know how popular that show, “Friends” is… admittedly I used to watch it all the time myself. I’m not into sitcoms too much at all. There were only very few sitcoms that I actually liked and “Friends” was one of them. I also liked “Seinfeld”, “Frasier”, “Home Improvement” and “Coach” w/ Craig T. Nelson. Other than that, I’m not a big fan of sitcoms, those were just the few that I liked over the years.

January looks like a pretty good month for streaming movies too.

Movies and TV Shows Coming to Netflix in January 2015

I wish Netflix would update “Sons of Anarchy – Season 7” now that the show is all over with on TV. That’s why I haven’t started watching “Season 6” of Sons of Anarchy so I can watch “6 & 7” back to back. “Sons of Anarchy” is a great show and one of the best. I’ll catch up with the rest of that show as soon as Netflix updates Season 7, I’ll start watching it. I don’t read anything about SOA online ’cause I wanna avoid spoilers and I know “spoilers” are a huge problem for the internet these days.

HBO confirms “HBO GO” will be online standalone streaming service for 2015…

If you don’t wanna pay all that money for HBO on your cable TV, HBO will be giving us “HBO GO” as an online stand alone streaming service (kind of like Netflix) for 2015. Soon we will get to watch “HBO” on all of our devices without having to pay for the cable version of it.

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=124050

This is an obvious competition against Netflix but this is pretty cool! The subscription price for “HBO GO” is unknown at this time but I would imagine they would price it cheaper than Netflix. Soon you will get to stream all kinds of movies and HBO shows. All the HBO shows over the years such as: “Dream On”, “The Sopranos”, “Tales From the Crypt”, “Sex and The City”, “Kids In the Hall”, etc. Of course, I’m sure you’ll also get to stream all the newer shows such as “Game of Thrones”, “Boardwalk Empire”, “True Detective”, “Veep”, “Girls”, etc.

HBO for cable is ridiculous expensive so I’m sure they will make “HBO GO” more affordable if they want it to be successful. I’m sure Netflix is hating them for this even more now, LOL!

Adam Sandler to star in 4 Netflix exclusive films…

I used to be a big fan of Adam Sandler. I used to watch him on SNL in the earlier days and used to watch all of his earlier comedy films like “Happy Gilmore”, “Billy Madison”, “Big Daddy”, “Airheads”, “Bulletproof”, “The Waterboy”, “Punch Drunk Love”, “Anger Management”, etc.

I haven’t been liking him too much anymore ’cause he haven’t been choosing good movies lately. The latest movie I’ve seen of his was “Funny People” and haven’t seen anything else after that.

Netflix have officially teamed up with Sandler to make 4 movies exclusively for Netflix streaming. The titles and plots of those 4 movies are unknown at this time but I would imagine they will be mostly comedies. Sometimes Adam Sandler would do a different genre like he would try to do a drama once in a blue moon. When these movies arrive on Netflix, I’ll check ’em out.

In the beginning of Netflix, I had already predicted that they were gonna start making their own TV shows and films and I was right. Netflix is making history here so good for them.

New Netflix updates…

Welp, it’s a new month obviously and that means there are gonna be a bunch of new movies and TV show seasons for the Netflix streaming. I’m happy to see that Netflix finally updated “Sons of Anarchy – Season 6”. I know Sons of Anarchy is ending soon so I gotta catch up with Season 6. Netflix also finally added the second season of “The Following” w/ Kevin Bacon, that TV show thriller where Kevin Bacon’s character hunts down a cult leader. So it looks like I got some major catching up to do this fall.

Before I move on to those two shows, I still gotta finish the new Dr. Who. Just finished Season 5 of “Dr. Who” w/ Matt Smith as The Doctor and will start Season 6 sometime this weekend.

I really do love Netflix. It’s the best thing to happen to TV. I’ll admit, I have become a bit of a Netflix junkie but I don’t watch Netflix all day, though. I only watch Netflix at night. Netflix is a nice substitute for cable TV. I hate cable TV so Netflix is the way to go.

Just last weekend, I just watched “48 Hours” and “Another 48 Hours” both starring Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte and I forgot how great those movies are. They’re great films.

Love Netflix or hate them, they are changing TV.

I’ll never forget that when HBO first became the first movie channel for cable TV back in the 80’s, I used to think HBO was the greatest thing ever. Now Netflix is the new HBO if you know what I mean by that. Netflix is making history. They’re successful. Netflix is great and I’ll always support them.
