BREAKING NEWS: “Prince Caspian” beats the hell out of “Iron Man” in box office match…

The new “Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” topped “Iron Man” just like I predicted. “Prince Caspian” started off pretty quietly and not making a lot of money Friday but picked up pretty quickly over the weekend. “Prince Caspian” beat down “Iron man” in world records.

The Associated Press reports:

http://apnews.excite.com/article/20080518/D90O7GFO0.html

I’ll be seeing “Prince Caspian” tomorrow afternoon on my day off of work. I can’t wait to see it.

I just love the first movie “The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe”, such a beautiful and perfect movie. I watched “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” on DVD last week and the film still amazes me. I think the Chronicles of Narnia series is the best live action movie Disney made by far. And I’m sure I’m gonna love “Prince Caspian”. “Prince Caspian” got a PG rating and it’s very rare that Disney movies get that kind of rating because of all the violence in the film. I hear it’s a very violent film. I’m really looking forward to seeing “Prince Caspian”.

Report: “Iron” Mike Tyson gets respect at Cannes in France…

Former Catskill, N.Y. native “Iron” Mike Tyson attended  the “Cannes Film Festival” in France over the weekend where he debuted his new documentary titled “Tyson” directed by his friend James Toback. The film “Tyson” is a documentary about the fighters life. After the film got over with, Tyson got some respect from the audience by giving the man a standing ovation applause. Tyson admits to living a troubled life, by being addicted to dangerous drugs, being involved with dangerous and bad people, sleeping with married women, etc.

The Associated Press reports:

Even though he had a troubled life, it’s nice to see Tyson get some respect for once. He’s gotten too much hate over the years.

He is a talented fighter and a legend, like him or not. Tyson may have an ego problem, but heck, all boxers have egos. A lot of fighters do, the ego is what helps them get up there in their careers.

Report: Audience reaction of “Indy and the Crystal Skull” at Cannes…

Well, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” made it’s debut at Cannes this weekend. Of course most of the cast and crew attended the event and watched their own movie there along with Spielberg, Lucas and Ford. Did the audience cheer and clap throughout the entire movie? Not really. The Indy 4 audience at Cannes got a mixed reaction. Some were excited and loved the film, some did not enjoy it.

When Ron Howard’s “The Da Vinci Code” debuted at Cannes last year, “The Da Vinci Code” got a harsh negative reaction that the audience walked out with a dissapointment and thought the film sucked.

Indy 4 got mixed reviews from the audiences.

The Associated Press Reports:

http://apnews.excite.com/article/20080518/D90O5FD80.html

This isn’t a good sign that Indy 4 could top “Iron Man”.

But either way, I’m looking forward to seeing it myself. Can’t wait!

Cool Video: New Kids on the Block, first live reunion performance on the Today Show…

For those that missed it, here you go…while I’m not a fan of this type of music, in fact I hate it, I give the New Kids credit for not lip synching. You can tell this is real singing by the guys all the way. This performance is 100% live everything. They have a live band behind them and the vocals are pretty much real the way I see it.

Thought: Grand Theft Auto IV, how am I doing on the game now?

So I’ve had Grand Theft Auto IV for a while and I’m sure you’re all wondering how I am doing in the game so far. There are only 51 missions in the game in total. So far I’m 26.37% of the game so far and I’ve got 15 more missions left to complete, so I’ve gotten pretty far in it this soon.

This game is actually the most difficult and challenging GTA game ever made. Some missions are easy and simple, but some missions are such a bitch to complete that it takes me many many many tries just to complete one mission.

I haven’t done any helicopter flying yet and I can’t wait to start doing some helicopter flying. The helicopter pretty much what makes the game a hit and the best part of the Grand Theft Auto games. Everybody loves to fly the helicopter in it.

I’m halfway through the game, and I should have the entire game beat hopefully before the end of this month. After I beat GTA IV, I’ll choose another game to move on to next. I don’t know what game I’ll play next after GTA IV though, I’ll have to decide. I have 5 games for the ps3 now ’cause last weekend I picked up the games “Iron Man” and “F.E.A.R.” (a first person shooter) so I’ll probably start one of those next after GTA IV.
