Report: Mel Gibson to direct Leonard Dicaprio for untitled Viking film…

Well, look like this means Mel Gibson is definitely not doing “Mad Max 4: Fury Road” ’cause he just signed on to direct a movie about “Vikings” that will star, Leonardo Dicaprio. It looks like Mel won’t be acting in this “Vikings” movie, he will be directing this one.

After starring the leading roles in movies like “Edge of Darkness” and Jodi Foster’s “The Beaver”, look like Mel finally wants to return to directing again.

I personally think the only reason Mel went back to acting just for a few films is so that he can be accepted by his fans again after his troubles with the law lately. To be accepted by Hollywood and forgiveness.

Mel plans to start shooting this Viking film in the fall of 2010 which will come up quick. Since Mel will have to be out there promoting, “Edge of Darkness” and “The Beaver”, he won’t have anytime to play on, “Mad Max 4”.

Still though, never say never with Mel in Mad Max 4. Maybe he can just do a small cameo? We’ll have to cross our fingers.

I expect this “Vikings” film to be very bloody and extremely violent. The violence will be much worse than his previous directed films. Honestly though, I find Mel Gibson one of the best actor/directors out there. He’s amazing. I love his work with “Braveheart”, “The Passion” and I find “Apacolypto” an amazing movie.

Mel doing a movie about Vikings is a good choice and very interesting. I think Leo has what it takes to do action with his own stunts, ’cause he’s done plenty of action movies over the years.

Thought: Brock still supports Tiger Woods…

So Tiger Woods got exposed to being a womanizer and man-whore. He came out and spoke to the media on his website today, admitting everything is true, that he had affairs with all those women.

To the people out there, that think Tiger Woods is a bad man for this, needs to get over yourselves.

I don’t support married people cheating, but this happens all the time in life. A lot of married couples out there go through it. The fact is, that he is a sex addict and a dog. Nothing wrong with being a man is there? People enjoy sex so much that they can’t get enough, they keep going.

Will Tiger and his current wife get a divorce? Probably not. I don’t see it happening.

If I ever get married to a nice woman someday, I would always be faithful and would not fuck random people, but I can understand why other people would do it. They are willing to have all the fun they can and willing to take the risks of their lives.

This Tiger Woods story maybe controversial, but congratulations, the public just made him an even bigger of a star than before. He was known as an iconic golf star in the golf world, now YOU just made him an iconic mainstream star. Controversy is great promotion. Bad press is sometimes good press. So keep talking about Tiger Woods.

BREAKING NEWS: Summit Entertainment will release Roman Polanski’s new film “Ghost Writer”…

I can’t fucking believe this. Why Summit, why? Are you guys fuckin’ stupid?  Summit Entertainment, the studios responsible to releasing the “Twilight Saga” films announced they will be releasing Roman Polanski’s new film “Ghost Writer” here in the U.S.

I expect a negative backlash from the public at Summit Entertainment. The “Twilight” series are aimed at kids. Well Mr. Polanski molested a kid years back. This will give Summit Entertainment a bad name and this will make “Twilight” fans very uncomfortable.

This Polanski case maybe controversial, yes, he’s all over the news. That doesn’t mean his next movie will be a hit in the U.S. I don’t care how good “Ghost Writer” is, I hope it bombs terribly. It would be a mistake if people went out and support this film. I will not support any of Polanski’s future works, as everyone else should do the same.

In fact, Polanski should not be making movies anymore. This film should go direct to DVD/TV, not on the big screen.

Because of this move, I don’t know if I will see the rest of the Twilight movies in theater. Summit Entertainment supports pedophiles.

Brock’s Top 5 music albums of 2009

It’s almost the end of the year and it’s about time to start making these “top of the year” lists, as usual. Here are my choices of the top 5 music albums that came out this year. I will start backwards with no. 1 being the best one.

5. Eminem’s “Relapse” – Some may laugh at this choice but honestly, I was really impressed by this album. I think it’s Em’s best album in a long time. It’s very intense, tight, and unique. It’s been bashed by the critics and music fans, but hey, that’s their opinion. This is mine. I think it’s an excellent fuckin’ album. It definitely makes the list.

4. Bruce Springsteen “Working On a Dream” – This one is better than his previous new album, “Magic”. I think the song “Outlaw Pete” is such an incredible song, one of his best new singles written in years. Other than that, the rest of this album is killer.

3. Megadeth “Endgame” – Dave Mustaine and the boys are back, and badder than ever. Heavier than ever, if I must say. In this album, they went back to their roots of what they used to sound like in their earlier years. This album is ten times better than their previous record, “United Abominations”. Both albums are totally different.

2. Phish “Joy” – Trey Anastasio and the original members of Phish are back with another killer album. I’ve heard most of Phish’s albums, but this one is really their best in a long time. Reading the lyrics in the booklet, these songs are very personal for Trey. I’m sure he wrote these songs while he was stuck in Saratoga Springs during his drug rehab here and pretty much most of these songs on this disc were his troubles in life around this time. This is a beautiful album.

1. (Two way tie) Pearl Jam’s “Backspacer” and Nirvana’s “Live at Reading” – I love these two albums too much that I had to put them both in one. Pearl Jam’s new record, “Backspacer” floored me so hard that I think it’s their best record since their first one, “Ten”. I can’t stop listening to “Backspacer”, very tight album all the way through. As for Nirvana’s “Live at Reading”, I think it’s a really good live album, one of my favorite live albums that I also can’t stop listening to. It’s hard to believe that it’s just three guys playing such an incredible concert. “Live at Reading” is better than listening to Nirvana’s studio albums, that’s how good it really is. Pearl Jam’s “Backspacer” and Nirvana’s “Live at Reading” are both incredible records. I’ll never get tired of listening to them over and over again.

Report: James Cameron to reunite with Arnold for another film?

Will James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger do another film together when the Governator is done with office? James Cameron himself said the two are talking about it.

MTV Movies Blog reports:

It may not be a Terminator movie, but maybe a different action/sci fi movie. Or even better, “True Lies 2”? 🙂

Report: Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley finally speak out on Alexa Ray Joel…

Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, Alexa’s parents, finally spoke out on her suicide attempt. Both Billy and Christie deny that she tried to kill herself over an ex-boyfriend. They say it’s something more serious than that. Alexa’s parents released a public statement.

Read it here:

http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20326223,00.html

There you have it. To anybody out there that would think someone would committ suicide over an ex is a stupid idiot.

I still stand by what I say though, Alexa Ray is a train wreck and a total mess. Hope she gets the help she needs.

Report: Paul Reubens announces, “Pee Wee’s Playhouse – The Movie” will be in the works soon…

Pee Wee Herman himself confirmed to MTV News, that there will be another Pee Wee Herman movie coming to the big screen. He revealed to MTV News, the next film will be based on the “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” TV show. It will be family friendly, that will be mostly aimed at the kids. Paul says the script is all done and ready to go.

The plot? He says most of the film will be outside of the Playhouse in puppet land. There will only be two scenes in the Playhouse. That’s all the details of the plot Paul gave us so far.

MTV Movies Blog reports:

http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2009/12/09/pee-wees-playhouse-the-movie-is-incoming-and-weve-got-story-details/

Some of you may find it crazy and a little weird, but I fucking love the Pee Wee character, always did. I would go see this new film, definitely.

That would be cool to see Tim Burton direct this. Paul Reubens and Tim Burton reunite to do “Playhouse”. Yeah.

Could JJ Abrams “Star Trek” actually win “Best Picture”???

Look like the Star Trek franchise can actually land their first Oscar win for “Best Picture”, because there is a huge buzz going around the movie sites online, that the film could get a nomination. I agree, it deserves a nomination ’cause the film is a beautiful film. I love it to death. Could the Star Trek franchise actually be lucky to win one? None of the Star Trek movies from the past never got a nomination before.

If JJ’s “Star Trek” actually gets the win for “Best Picture” in 2010, that would be very surprising. I have a feeling that the Best Picture win will either go to “Precious”, “Inglourious Basterds” or “Avatar”…but “Star Trek” can actually get it.

It would be nice if something different wins the Oscars. “Star Trek” is a mix of action and sci fi, the new film. I would love it if it got the win for “Best Picture”, I don’t see it happening.

What I want in bodybuilding…

When people think of me getting into bodybuilding, some would assume that I would want to be a giant. You know, those type of giant bodybuilders you see in the Mr. Olympia competitions with the likes of Arnold, Flex Wheeler, or Lou Farrigno. Sorry but that’s not what I’m going for.

I just simply want a medium sized built, that’s what I’m aiming for. Just to tone my body up and to look a little better when just wearing nothing but shorts or whatever. I don’t like being flat chested and having thin arms, and am doing my best to change that. I feel I’m doing a decent job even with no trainer.

I still need to work on my nutrition more which is still being planned on and my New year’s resolution for 2010 is to hopefully keep a very strict nutrition plan.

As I said before, I’m not doing this for a profesional career or nothing, just want to get fit for myself.
