Possible Oscar 2010 winners…

I know it’s early, but I’m going to predict some possible winners of the Oscars 2010. I might do a prediction thing again later this year, ’cause my predictions should change.

Here they are:

Best Picture: Either “Precious”, “Inglourious Basterds”, “Avatar” will get the one. We know those three films will get the nominations anyway.

Best Director: Either Quentin Tarantino, Lee Daniels or James Cameron are top three choices.

Best Actor: Morgan Freeman might get another Oscar for this role in “Invictus”, although I haven’t seen the film yet.

Best Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz “Inglourious Basterds”, this guy will get it no matter what happens.

Best Actress: Gabby Sidibe from “Precious” will get it no matter what happens.

Best Supporting Actress: Anna Kendrick for “Up In the Air”. Noticing she’s a Twilight actress, the votes might all go to her.

Thought: It’s not the PG rating that’s destroying WWE, DX and the celebrity guest hosts is…

I think the reason that so many people have been turned off by WWE’s current direction lately, is not because of their PG family friendly rating. Here is the problem.

I think the problem is that the WWE has turned itself into a mainstream family show, instead of an “actual” wrestling show like it once used to be in the 90’s.

All these celebrity guests hosts, is the big part of this thing. I don’t like this celebrity host thing at all WWE is doing with RAW. It’s silly. We don’t need celebrities in wrestling. The wrestling superstars are the celebrities themselves. What Vince doesn’t realize is that these celebs that host a RAW episode each week is overshadowing the star power of these wrestlers.

Another thing that is hurting WWE, is the new D Generation X tag team with Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Aren’t these guys a little too old for a gimmick like this? DX was great in their younger days during the Attitude era, but today? LOL! DX is way past their time. I’m sure the veteran wrestling fans like myself want Triple H and Shawn Michaels to end DX and go back to performing solo like they are best at. The only reason that WWE brought DX back full time is to help hype up this PG rating thing and to build a fanbase with children.

I actually have no problem with a family friendly WWE ’cause that’s how they started back in the 80’s. They don’t need DX and these lame celebrity hosts.

They need to stop these celebrity hosts and go back to the General Manager thing. Plus, I’m sure the WWE champ title switching back and forth to Randy Orton to John Cena all the time is getting boring as well.

I haven’t been watching RAW for these reasons. If they can go back to an actual wrestling show, I’ll start watching again. These days, WWE has almost been like a fucking circus or Disney’s on ice or something.

BREAKING NEWS: Yet another daytime soap cancelled, this time it’s “As the World Turns”…

Yet, more evidence that soap operas on TV are dying. The more soap operas cancel on TV, soon there will none at all. First, “Guiding Light”, got the boot. What’s next? Yep, that’s right, “As the World Turns” will be soon booted off the air. The show will air it’s finale in September, then they will stop production and writing for good.

Variety Reports:

What’s the next soap that will get cancelled soon? I’m predicting, “Days of Our Lives”.

Thought: Seriously, why is everyone feeling sorry for Alexa Ray Joel?

*sigh* Yet, another one of those most talked about news story everywhere. It seems the internet won’t shut up about this. The topic about Alexa Ray Joel is all over the wall discussions in facebook as well.

I see most people going, “Oh boo hoo, I’m glad Alexa is safe and hope she gets the help she needs, hope she gets better in this difficult time, wah wah wahhh…”.

Well, you want to know what my thoughts are? Do I feel sorry for Alexa? No. In fact, I could even care less if she wanted to kill herself. Suicide is not the answer, it is wrong. Selfish and stupid. You may think you have nothing going in your life, but think about the family and friends around you that love you.

People that are suicidal is a cry for attention, just to get people to listen to you and maybe everyone will pay attention to you more.

That’s the way I look at it with Alexa’s suicide attempt. Her ex-boyfriend came out and said she did it, for a “cry for attention” and “she scared herself” in a recent NY Times article posted online.

This Alexa Ray is a druggie and a hot mess. So people feel sorry for that? WOW!!!!! Unbelievable!

I call this as a ploy to promote her music career, as she is a musician and songwriter just like her father, Billy Joel. To help make her career a little better and she can become a little more well known. Well, congrats, she did it. She’s now all over the news.

Right after her suicide attempt she went straight to her myspace page, thanking her fans for their love and support through this difficult time. That’s kind of proof right there that she did this for attention.

Why is Alexa like this? Well, I think she gets it from her father, Billy Joel. If you knew Billy’s past, he went through a long history of depression, even tried killing himself a few times. Remember, he was an alcoholic. There was a point where Billy tried killing himself by drinking furniture polish. That was his last suicide attempt, I believe.

I’m not blaming Billy Joel for her suicide attempt, but it’s really obvious that Alexa inspired it by Billy.

This post may create some controversy but I just had to get it out of me. This is the United States of America and I have the right to speak out on things like this.

Yet, another bus crash in the music world but this time Weezer was in it!!!!

Is it just me or is there a lot of bus crashes lately in the music industry, lately? Yep, seems there is. Miley Cyrus just had one but she wasn’t in it. Here comes Weezer and yes, the band members were in it, including Rivers Cuomo himself. Rivers even had his wife and child onboard with him! Everyone knows that Rivers was hospitalized due to serious injuries. The band had to cancel the rest of the tour obviously.

The band is lucky to be alive. The same goes for Rivers wife and kid too. This bus crash sounded like a nasty one but they all survived it anyway, somehow. The crash just happened in Upstate NY near me. If Rivers or any of the band members would have died, they would have became the next Cliff Burton from Metallica.

Remember, Cliff Burton died in a tour bus crash, in a similar way which this Weezer crash brings back memories to that.
