I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

M&F magazine says those so called junky breakfast cereals at the store are good for bodybuilders!!

In this months, “Muscle and Fitness” magazine, there’s a great little article on breakfast cereals. Some of you out there may think that breakfast cereals like Fruit Looops, Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, Honey Smacks, Lucky Charms, Wheaties, Fruity Pebbles, etc. maybe bad for your health.

If you knew how to read nutrition labels on the side of ’em, the truth is, those cereals I listed are actually very healthy! They are also good for body builders. Why? Because on the nutrition labels those breakfast cereals has very little protein in them, and they are all very low in calories. So in reality, those cereals I mentioned won’t make you fat. They are actually good for muscle building. Just mix the cereals with low fat milk and the magazine suggested add the Whey Protein stuff along with it, there’s your healthy breakfast right there.

This may seem kind of childlike to eat these cereals, but it’s worth it for a healthy nutrition. I eat these kind of cereals all the time. My favorites are fruity pebbles, Lucky Charms, Honey Smacks, and Wheaties.

This is just something to think about to those out there are into fitness and wondering about breakfast meals, if you’re tired of eating eggs all the time.

Report: LeVar Burton’s TV show, “Reading Rainbow” is no more…

Actor and TV show host, LeVar Burton is out of work! First, “Star Trek: The Next Generation” has came to an end, which he is famously known for Geordi LaForge, the guy with the golden visor on his head…and now, PBS’s most famous show, “Reading Rainbow” is the next to get the boot. “Reading Rainbow” aired it’s final episode last Friday. The show first started in 1983, LeVar Burton has been hosting the show ever since!

LeVar Burton himself has not yet said what he will do next in his career. Whether he will host another TV show or do some acting work for TV drama or work for Hollywood film. I’m sure he’ll announce what he will do next soon.

I’ve always liked LeVar, he’s an interesting dude.

Dearly beloved, it is with a heavy heart and a sad face that I say this to you this morning.

As of last Friday the 28th August, I have been forced to leave the Manchester rock’n’roll pop group Oasis.

The details are not important and of too great a number to list. But I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable. And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new.

I would like firstly to offer my apologies to them kids in Paris who’d paid money and waited all day to see us only to be let down AGAIN by the band. Apologies are probably not enough, I know, but I’m afraid it’s all I’ve got.

While I’m on the subject, I’d like to say to the good people of V Festival that experienced the same thing. Again, I can only apologise – although I don’t know why, it was nothing to do with me. I was match fit and ready to be brilliant. Alas, other people in the group weren’t up to it.

In closing I would like to thank all the Oasis fans, all over the world. The last 18 years have been truly, truly amazing (and I hate that word, but today is the one time I’ll deem it appropriate). A dream come true. I take with me glorious memories.

Now, if you’ll excuse me I have a family and a football team to indulge.

I’ll see you somewhere down the road. It’s been a fuckin’ pleasure.

Thanks very much.

Goodbye.

Brock buys “Batman: Arkham Asylum”…

So I picked up “Batman: Arkham Asylum” earlier this week from Best Buy. Didn’t play it yet. I’m not going to until I finish the few other games I’m still working on.

Like I said before, I still need to finish, “Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood”, after I complete that game, I will move on to “Ghostbusters”. After “Ghostbusters”, then I will move on to the new “Batman” game and hopefully finish the rest of “Resident Evil 5”.

Thing is I don’t sit around and play videogames for 10 hours straight like most video gamers do. At least a couple of hours a day of video gaming is good enough for me.

Thought: So why did Liam and Noel stick together in Oasis, even if they hated each others guts?

So you wonder, why didn’t Noel quit a long time ago if him and Liam never got along? These two brothers always hated each other guts. They were always fighting in the studios, on the tour buses, etc. Pretty much everywhere they go…but they stuck together anyway in the band to make music throughout the years. Over the years, Noel learned to deal with the negativity. You asked, why do you play music in a band when members don’t get along? It isn’t because they are family members. The answer is real simple…it’s all about the fame, superstardom and the money.

The band was one of the biggest bands in the 90’s…they stuck together ’cause they were enjoying the fame, the star power, and the money they were making.

I believe that the reason the Gallagher brothers never got along is because of how their parents raised them. Reading their wikipedia information, both of the brothers didn’t have a good childhood, they were abused by their father. Noel was a trouble maker as a kid as he stole stuff from cars and he was on probation at the time as well.

I always thought Noel was the good Gallagher brother. I always hated Liam more. Liam is the one that is the douche, not Noel.

Noel maybe a controversial guy, he may swear and cuss a lot in interviews and says some pretty wild things, but a lot of people are like that. So I’m not bothered by Noel at all and always thought he was the good guy in the band. So I’m actually glad that Noel finally plugged the plug on Oasis when he should have done it years ago.

Noel is the one that turned Oasis mainstream, he’s the one that wrote hits such as “Wonderwall” and most Oasis radio hits that made the band big. If Liam continues Oasis without Noel, I assure you the band won’t be mainstream anymore. Noel was a pretty important guy in the band, and Liam fucked everything up.

I’m sure there are better things for Noel Gallagher up ahead. Once the doors closes, new doors will open for you for better things. Maybe Noel will start a solo career or form himself a new band.

I applaud Noel for this move, so hopefully he sticks to his word and never goes back to the band. Noel probably thought Liam went out of line when he smashed Noel’s guitar right in front of him. Liam is the fucking bully here. I’m on Noel’s side all the way!

I’m sure Noel will speak more to the media about this controversy soon.

Report: Kurt Cobain added as a character in Guitar Hero 5…

Shirley Manson and Johnny Cash will be as characters in “Guitar Hero 5”, now Kurt Cobain will be playable. Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl won’t be feautured, just Kurt alone, I guess.

More on it here:

They need to add Dave Mustaine as a playable character, also adding Carlos Santana and Tom Petty as characters would also be totally cool.

BREAKING NEWS: Noel Gallagher quits Oasis, effective immediately!!!

Another news story that took me by surprise. Out of nowhere, Oasis’s lead guitarist and sometimes lead vocalist, Noel Gallagher, announced on the Official Oasis website, that Noel has quit the band. Yep, Noel is done.

It’s no secret that the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam never got along, pretty much their whole life. Noel is finally fed up with him and leaving the band tonight. He said with “great relief”, so that means Noel is proud of his decision.

Noel has been talking about a new Oasis album for a long time and he seems happy and excited about it, and now he finally admits he wasn’t happy in the band?

Noel is realizing that he’s getting too old that he don’t need to put up with Liam anymore. Fighting with brothers is for children. It’s nice to see Noel teach Liam a lesson that he doesn’t need to be in a band ’cause you’re family.

This doesn’t mean the end of Oasis, I see Liam continuing the band without Noel. Liam will front all the vocals like he always had. Noel has been wanting to start a solo career, so Noel will probably move on with that.

See Noel’s shocking news statement here:

This was unexpecting!

RIP: DJ Am (Adam Goldstein) 1973 – 2009

Yep, another shocking celebrity death! As reported on TMZ, DJ Am (real name: Adam Goldstein) just died today. He is a profesional and famous turntable DJ, who provided turntable scratches for many famous bands and musicians such as Blink 182 for starters, Madonna, Jay-Z and more.

DJ Am survived a dangerous plane crash along with his friend Travis Barker, drummer of Blink 182. Adam was found dead in his New York City apartment today. Prescription pills is probably what killed him, what else is new?
