Report: G.I. Joe director, Stephen Sommers, denies Sienna Miller’s boobs are fake in the film…

Director Stephen Sommers who helmed the new “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” movie, speaks out about actress Sienna Miller who plays the Baroness in the film. He denies that her big breasts shown in the rubber suit above are fake and enchanced that she was accused of. He admits that he has a fetish for women with big breasts (as do I myself, I too love big breasted women), so he knows that what you see there is a 100% real.

He also says that the new James Bond movies with Daniel Craig are becoming more like the Jason Bourne movies (which I agree with).  He also explains that the new “G.I. Joe” film he made is inspired from older action movies he grew up with in the past. “G.I. Joe” promises to be a fun action packed ride.

More on it here:

Looking forward to the film. I collected most all the G.I. Joe action figures and watched the cartoon series when I was a child, so I have to see this flick in theater. I hope  it don’t dissapoint and hope it will be an exciting flick.

Report: Rod Stewart and Flea shoots down Faces reunion…

After several months of strong rumours swirling the web that Rod Stewart is reforming his older band, the Faces, for a new album and tour with Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea joining the band, Rod Stewart speaks out to the media saying that there are no plans for a Faces reunion this year. Flea also denied the reunion, saying he never knew about it.

Billboard reports:

I’m no Rod Stewart fan of his solo music, but I loved his old band, The Faces though. I was kind of hoping this reunion would be true. The Faces are fucking great!!!

Report: David Bowie, finally recording a new studio album in Berlin?

Legendary singer, David Bowie, is reportedly to be working on a new studio album in Berlin, according to his Twitter page. Bowie hasn’t released a new studio album since 2003’s “Reality”. In the 70’s and 80’s of Bowie’s career, he used to do music full time back then, but these days he is slowing down. Taking long breaks in between albums. This is the longest break he ever took in between albums.

The latest studio recording he has done, is that he collaborated with Scarlett Johansson on a few songs to sing backups for her “Anywhere I Lay My Head”, Tom Waits tribute album.

See Bowie’s Twitter page here, if it’s really his official page or not:

http://twitter.com/davidbowie

I doubt that Twitter page is official. If Bowie was working on new material he would have announced it asap, on his official website at http://www.davidbowie.com/.

I’m sure Bowie himself will speak out on this rumour soon, maybe this weekend, he’ll write a post about it on his official website saying whether or not the rumours are true.

I hope it is true. David Bowie is one of my favorite music artists and a new album by him is long overdue. Many people like Bowie’s older stuff better, but I still love the music he’s making now. He’s still an amazing songwriter today. I’ve always admired David Bowie as a singer/songwriter, he’s such a unique and talented guy. He’s an influence into my own songwriting as well.

I hope he’s making a new album.

Thought: Why were “The Dark Knight”, Springsteen, Cyrus, and Eastwood snubbed from the Oscars?

Many shocking Oscar snubs that I’m sure dissapointed many movie fans. “The Dark Knight” was snubbed from the Best Picture Win, they also didn’t get anything for Best Director, Actor/actress, Screenplay, etc.

Clint Eastwood didn’t even get nominated for “Best Actor” in “Gran Torino” or “Best Director” for “Changeling/Gran Torino”. No Clint at the Oscars at all this year? WOW!!!!! SHOCKING!!!! Eastwood usually is at the Oscars every year. I’m sure he’ll still be there in person to enjoy the show though and maybe even present an award although he won’t be winning anything.

Springsteen didn’t even get nominated for his song “The Wrestler”, so I feel bad for the boss of Rock n’ Roll. Oh well, I’m sure he won’t care. I’m sure he’ll think his Golden Globe win, The Superbowl Halftime performance, him performing for Barack Obama at the Inaugural Celebration “We Are One”, and his new album with “Workin’ On a Dream” is good enough for him. I’m sure Springsteen feels bad about the Oscar snub, but hey, life goes on. He’s got better opportunities coming up ahead of him like the Superbowl performance.

The thing with the Academy, that there is so many great films that came out in the year 2008 that they can’t nominate everything, so that’s why the Academy members have to vote on the best work, to see which one is worthy enough. They don’t care about the mainstream popularity of the film or not, they’ll nominate films for the quality of the work. Not caring what the public thinks. It all depends on the voting with the members of the Academy, that’s how they do it with the voting ballots. It’s all about their opinion, they don’t care about the public’s opinion of what we think should be nominated.

As for Eastwood getting snubbed, there is always next time for him to try to star in a movie he directs where he can get Oscar nominated for Best Actor again, there’s always another time for him. He’s won two Best Directors in the past, so hopefully Eastwood will at least win one Best Actor award before he gets too old and his time is out if you know what I mean.

Tom Cruise was also snubbed a nomination for his role as Les Grossman for “Tropic Thunder” so that’s another shocker. As for Miley Cyrus, who cares, I’m sick of Miley.

As for the Academy ignoring the “Dark Knight”, it was a nice try for a comic book superhero movie to get nominated for the first time, it was that close. One day there will be a superhero movie that will land in the Oscars, maybe not the “Dark Knight” but maybe another superhero flick in the future. “The Dark Knight” did get an impressive 8 bids for the Best Pic nomination, so the film came this close. Unfortunately, the other films nominated were more popular than “The Dark Knight”.

BREAKING NEWS: The Official Oscar nominees for 2009 are here!!!

The Oscar nominations for the year of 2009 have been announced.

The Official “Best Picture” nominations:

“Benjamin Button”

“Frost/Nixon”

“Milk”

“The Reader”

“Slumdog Millionaire”

The only “Dark Knight” nominations were Heath Ledger for “Best Actor in a Supporting Role”, “Visual Effects”, “Sound Mixing/Editing”, “Makeup”, “Film Editing”, and “Art Direction”. “Dark Knight” got robbed of every other category.

I’m glad Mickey Rourke got nominated for “Best Actor” so that means he’ll be competing with Brad Pitt, you’ll never know who’ll win that one.

I’m glad Angelina Jolie was nominated for the “Changeling” ’cause that’s a good performance, I don’t think she’ll win that one, Kate Winslet will probably get the win.

I think “Benjamin Button” will probably sweep everything.

See the entire list of Oscar nominees here:

I’ll talk more about this later.

Recent pic of Stallone shirtless!!!

shirtlessstallone

So you’ve never seen a recent pic of Stallone shirtless? Well there he is. This photo was taken, Jan 20th, the day of Barack Obama’s inauguration! That’s Sly at a gym. He’s at Gunnar’s Gym, I believe. Sly is starting to get new tattoos at this age.

I truly believe he is working out extremely hard again for his next movie, “The Expendables”. Looking at this photo, he wants to be ripped for “Expendables”.

Looking great Sly! You’re never too old to work those muscles! I grabbed this photo from the Stallonezone message board btw.

Thought: If Clint Eastwood gets nominated for “Best Actor”, then this is bad news for Mickey Rourke…

We all know that Mickey Rourke will definitely get nominated for “Best Leading Actor” for his movie “The Wrestler”, but what if Clint Eastwood gets nominated for his role as Walt Kowalksi in “Gran Torino” for the “Best Leading Actor” category?

If Eastwood does get the actor category for “Gran Torino”, then Rourke is screwed. Eastwood won two Oscars for “Best Director” in the past but he never won anything for “Best Actor” yet, could this year finally be Eastwood’s chance? If Eastwood’s in the nomination, then I don’t see Rourke winning at all.

Eastwood’s role in “Gran Torino” is Oscar worthy enough, I’ll tell you that right now.
