Report: The Phoenix blames film crew for bad performance at the Lavo…

Joaquin Phoenix, blames his film crew who was filming the documentary for his bad performance at the Lavo. His film crew showed up late, it pissed him off and he lost his temper. He only performed three songs from the album he’s producing with Sean Combs.

Yep, Joaquin Phoenix is definitely doing drugs again. At least he knows that his performance was really bad though.

Confirmed: George Clooney to return to “ER” for one last time….

Reports are swirling the web that George Clooney is confirmed to reprise his role as Dr. Doug Ross, on the longtime hit TV show “ER”. Clooney starred in the show from ’94-’99, then he moved on to become a huge movie star like he is now.  This is the final season of ER after 14 years of being on the air. Clooney is set to appear on the final episode of “ER”.

While Clooney was filming for the last “ER” episode, it was a very secretive filming that only very few cast and crew is allowed to see.

Great news that he’s on board for the final episode. I figure he would be. It would be a huge mistake in his career if he did drop out. Now that Clooney is on the last episode of “ER”, I will watch the final episode even though I’m not much of an “ER” fan. I’m sure the whole world will tune in and the last “ER” episode will indeed be the highest rated episode.

I like George, he’s one of my favorite actors as well.

Report: Even America knows that all that Obama stuff yesterday was a joke, they rather watch, “American Idol” instead!!!

America is using common sense and getting a reality check, that there is nothing important about them Obama celebrations. The new season of “Idol” got 22.4 viewers while the “Inaugural Ball’s” got 12.6 viewers.

While I’m no fan of “American Idol” anymore like I used to be, I don’t watch the show anymore, but it’s great to see that they rather watch that instead of Obama celebrating his presidency all damn day.

Oscar predictions for “Best Picture”, a few changes….

A few changes to the 5 films predicted for “Best Picture” at the Oscars, here they are:

“The Dark Knight”

“Wall-E”

“Benjamin Button”

“Milk”

“Slumdog Millionaire”

We’ll see if I’m right on these ones when the nominations are revealed tomorrow. Nobody thinks that “Wall-E” is “Best Picture” worthy but believe me, I think it’ll make “Best Picture” tomorrow. Animated films have made “Best Picture” nominations in the Oscars before and it don’t hurt to try it again. We’ll wait for tomorrow to see what happens. 🙂

Thought: This whole president celebration was ridiculous…

Yep, I watched the President Obama inauguration yesterday. Just for the hell of it. It was pretty much one huge joke. All them people all over Washington D.C.? All them long speeches before the Vice President and U.S. President swearings? The singing of Aretha Franklin and performances of Yo Yo Ma? Was all that really necessary and historic? No. All you need for an inaugural is swearing the Vice President and the U.S. President in so they can get right to work. They don’t really need all that celebration and partying stuff, it was all just for fun and a celebration, it wasn’t historic.

I felt kind of bad for President Obama yesterday. Him and his family barely ever getting any privacy from the media, Obama looked really bored sitting out in the crowd and you can tell by the looks of his face, that the only thing on his mind is that he can’t wait for that day to get over with so he can get right to work in the Oval Office. That was the only thing he cared about.

Although I don’t really care for Obama that much, and don’t think he’ll make much of a “change” with our country, I’ll give him a chance to see how he does the next 4 years. If he does a good job, maybe I’ll like him more. If he screws up and becomes worse than President Dubya, then America definitely voted the wrong guy and should of went for McCain/Palin instead. It’s only a matter of time that sooner or later everybody will be hating on President Obama pretty quick.

Report: Macaulay Culkin’s sister was drunk legally before death…

Dakota Culkin, who is the older sister of former child star, Macaulay Culkin, was hit by a car while she was crossing the street in Los Angeles, she was killed. The coroner discovered that she was drunk before she was killed. She was on her way back home after a night of drinking, but to avoid drinking and driving, she walked home instead. This makes it legal because she wasn’t driving and she is over 21 years of age. The cause of her death was “blunt-force trauma”.

While walking home after a late night of drinking at a bar may sound safe, but not always.

I’ve walked all the way home late nights after drinking at a bar in Greenwich plenty of times in the past, and it’s really no fun. Walking home is better than driving while drunk or riding in a car with someone who is drunk though.

Thought: How to Meet a Celebrity in person… a few tips of advice…

So, I’m sure you’ve all read the news by now that Paula Goodspeed Od’d herself by ingesting medication into her over her obsession of Idol judge, Paula Abdul. Which is pretty sad.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being an obsessive fan of some celebrity you admire, ’cause I know that all of us admire a certain famous person here and there.

I don’t meet a lot of celebs in person, but I have met a few in my life. Here are some tips and advice to those wanting to meet your hero in person, whether the celeb is a famous actor, musician, sports star, TV star, etc., whatever.

Some do’s and don’ts

The Don’ts:

  • Do not travel to their home without their consent and sit outside  for hours waiting for them to come out of their home…this is a no no…this will screw your chance and lose your opportunity in meeting your favorite celebrity. This will only land you behind bars or get a restraining order by your own favorite celeb. Next thing you know, your hero will not want anything to do with you. So don’t BE STUPID!!!!!
  • Don’t show up while their working for their careers. When celebs are working on their careers sometimes a fan will show up out of nowhere. This is also a big no no and will lose your chance at meeting your hero.
  • Do not take their pictures without their consent. If you’re walking in public and just snap a pic of them, they’ll think you’re the paparazzi, the celeb will track you down and you could get sued. Do you really want a lawsuit threat by your own hero? I don’t think so.
  • If you do meet them in person, don’t act star struck. Celebs like to be treated like real human beings. They are real human beings too, not cartoon characters. Treat them like how you want to be treated, they’ll treat you good.
  • If you do meet a celeb in public and if they have no time to talk to you, accept it for what it is and respect their privacy. Don’t continue to pursue to meet them when they say “No, not right now”, that means they are busy at the moment, and you could get confronted by their bodygaurds, do you really want that?

The Do’s:

  • See, a celeb you like out in public walking around? Walk up and say “Hi, (my name is), I’m a big fan of your work. Can I have your autograph (or picture taken with you)?” They’ll be glad to give it to you if you ask them nicely.
  • Best way to meet famous celebrities is at autograph sessions…or living in big cities like New York City, Los Angeles or Nashville. Those three cities are popular with famous people living all over them.

Hope this info helps out so you don’t end up like Ms. Goodspeed.
