Bruce Springsteen gave away a free song for a download on his official website, it is a Halloween song titled, “A Night With the Jersey Devil”.

The Jackson 5 reunion maybe happening, but Michael Jackson himself isn’t joining them for a tour and album. Geez, talk about joining the Robert Plant bandwagon.
The King of Pop is currently busy in the studio working on a new solo record. He’s not doing a record with the Jackson’s.

The Ron Howard and Tom Hanks movie “Angels and Demons” which is a prequel to the movie “The Da Vinci Code” based upon the books by Dan Brown, the teaser trailer to the prequel is now online finally.

Remember this is NOT a sequel to “The Da Vinci Code”, this is a prequel which means the story happened before. Honestly, I thought “Angels and Demons” was a much better book than “The Da Vinci Code”.
Dan Brown did once announce that he is writing a sequel to “The Da Vinci Code” to complete the trilogy.

Atari the longest running video game company created by Nolan Bushnell has bought the rights to release “The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena” and “Ghostbusters: The Video Game”. Both of these games used to be owned by Activision Blizzard but the company refused to release those two video games after they merged with Vivendi Games company which will happen later this summer.
“The Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena” will be the sequel and follow up to “Riddick’s: Escape at Butcher Bay”, “Dark Athena” will release this Spring. The Atari officials won’t comment on when “Ghostbusters: The Video Game” will release, but a source close to Atari says they are waiting to release the game next summer so the game can take part in celebrating the “25th Anniversary” of the original “Ghostbusters” film.
“The Chronicle’s of Riddick” video games were based upon the sci-fi/action adventure movies that starred Vin Diesel as Riddick.

Great news that the two games found a new home. I figure they would. While I am looking forward to the new “Ghostbusters” game which I will get if it ever comes out, I am also looking forward to the “Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena” also sounds very interesting.

“I AM THE SHOGUN OF HARLEM!!!!!!”
Yep, you heard that right. Legendary actor and icon, Samuel L. Jackson, has signed a deal to star as the main villain Sho’nuff in “The Last Dragon” remake. “The Last Dragon” will be remade by the 1985 film which the story is created by Berry Gordy. John Davis and Berry Gordy’s son, Kerry, will be producing.
The story of both versions is about a young teenage black man named Leroy Green who dreams of becoming an expert martial artist. In order to become that expert you must reach to something called the “Final Level” which possesses “The Glow”. It is where your entire body glows and you become this fighting machine. While he struggles to reach for “The Glow”, he must defeat these villains and Sho’nuff the leader of the villains is a tough man to beat.
Their goal for the remake, is that they want to make it a homage to the original film but to also give it a today’s update version of it.

“The Last Dragon” used to be one of my favorite films back in the 80’s, used to watch it all the time everytime it came on TV. I haven’t seen it in a long time though, but seeing the clips in the video below brings back memories to that great action film. I’ll probably end up buying the DVD of the original film sometime.
I wonder who’s going to play Leroy Green in the remake? Since Leroy is a teen in the movie it’s gotta be a younger actor.

The 7 year old nephew of Jennifer Hudson and the son of Julia, Julian King, may have died in the white SUV, the Chicago PD says. The officials speculate that Julian King was alive when he left the house where his uncle and grandmother were killed last week. Police found a .45-caliber gun around the corner where SUV was parked which could possibly be the murder weapon of all three victims, the mother, brother and nephew.
A funeral service for the Hudson brother, mother and nephew will be held this Monday. The funeral is closed to the public, only family and friends of the Hudsons is allowed. Of course, Jennifer herself will probably attend the funeral.

The question you have to ask is this…why would the killers shoot and kill a little 7 year old?
The only reason I can think of why they would do this is because, Julian, the little boy must of witnessed the killers murdering his uncle and his grandmother. Julian must of ran out of the house for help being all scared, so the killers went and grabbed him and put him in the SUV. That’s my theory.
Rest in peace to all three of them. Innocent people who didn’t deserve this. This story is so sad and heartbreaking.

Comic book writer and creator, Mark Millar, is moving forward to his “Superman” trilogy dreams. The man wants to create an 8 hour trilogy, w/ Lord of the Rings and the Godfather style like “Superman” films.
He confirms he has found a big name director that he will work on this movie with, and he isn’t saying who that director is as of yet.
Mark Millar reveals more plot ideas. He says he wants the Superman trilogy to continue in a three part story, beggining with Kal-El being born on his home planet of Krypton, how he landed in Smallville where Jonathan and Martha Kent found him, Kal-El later became Clark Kent/Superman where he got a job as a news reporter at the Daily Planet in Metropolis, etc. It’s going to have it all. It’s look like Mark Millar wants the new Superman movies to stay true to the original comics. He says he wants the trilogy to end with Superman being the last man on Earth where our planet is being close to being destroyed.
He also explains that he wants the new Superman movies to be completely different. This is not going to be a homage to the Richard Donner film that Bryan Singer wanted it to be. It’s probably not going to have the classic John Williams score and all that.

The plot is sounding great. I love Mark Millar’s idea. Can’t wait to see who the director is going be as well.
Millar should still have the John Williams music though, so I hope he keeps the opening theme song for Superman as well.
