Report: Eli Roth joins Tarantino’s “Inglorious Bastards”…

Quentin Tarantino finally started casting and he should complete the casting pretty quickly before shooting begins. Tarantino confirmed Eli Roth to play the character Sgt. Donnie Donowitz for “Inglorious Bastards”. The character is described as a baseball swinging Nazi hunter. Tarantino worked with Roth a few times before. He worked with Roth for “Death Proof” and worked for the horror film “Hostel” which Eli Roth directed and Tarantino was the executive producer.

Brad Pitt is currently in talks and Tarantino soon plans to meet with Leonardo Dicaprio to star in the film as welll.

Variety Reports:

How much do you want to bet that Tarantino will also get some of his regulars in the film too like Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, Michael Madsen, maybe even David Carridine may have a small role. Maybe Uma Thurman too.

But I hope Sly Stallone has a role in this flick as well. That be sweet to see Sly co star along with Pitt and Dicaprio.

Report: Another wrestling legend about to part ways with WWE…Mick Foley?

Mick Foley, known as a legendary hardcore wrestling legend is another one that is about to part ways with WWE. Mick Foley is currently a color commentator for the Smackdown brand alongside with Jim Ross. Wrestling sources say that Foley’s contract is expiring soon and looks like he may not renew, and he may move on…again.

The commentators on RAW/SD/ECW/ and the PPV’s wear these headsets and backstage, there is a production team that speak into their headsets giving the announcers what lines to say on television during the matches. Foley is being bothered and distracted by Vince McMahon’s yelling in the headsets when Vince is giving him lines backstage. After Foley complained to Vince about the yellling, Vince since then calmed his tone down when speaking in the headsets during matches. Things aren’t looking good with Mick Foley as it looks like he may part ways with WWE also.

Mick Foley is a hardcore wrestling legend known for wrestling under three different gimmicks: Cactus Jack, Dude Love, and Mankind. Foley wrestled under the Cactus Jack persona for most of his life. Before Foley joined the WWE, he wrestled in Japan for most of his life to get his start in brutal hardcore wrestling. Later he joined the WCW when that company used to be around. After Foley left WCW, he joined Paul Heyman’s owned company ECW where he wrestled many of the greats. Foley had plenty of matches with wrestlers such as Terry Funk and Al Snow the most. And of course, he wrestled the Undertaker many times.

When Foley finally arrived in the WWE in 1996, he first appeared as Mankind a character where he wears a white shirt, a tie, and a weird brown mask, and he wears a sock, known as Mr. Socko. Foley started to get noticed as a hardcore wrestler after he was viciously thrown off a Cell cage in a “Hell In a Cell” match with the Undertaker at King of the Ring and crashed onto the announcers table which got Foley his fame, that short ten minute match created a lot of controversy.

Foley is a controversial hardcore wrestler who had plenty of injuries, including getting his ear ripped off and getting his teeth knocked out, and plenty more gruesome injuries. Other than his wrestling career, Foley is an author and an actor who had appeared in other TV shows and movies. Mick Foley is also a family man who is married to his longtime wife Collete and the couple have four children together, they are, Duey, Michael, Francis, and Noelle. Foley currently resides in Long Island, N.Y.

See the report of Mick Foley possibly leaving WWE for good here:

Keep it up Vince, the more you keep your ego in check, the more superstars will leave the company.

Report: George Lucas ditches Mutt Williams for “Indy 5″…

Well, ever since “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” came out in theaters and became a box office smash, Lucas and Spielberg are already planning another Indy film. And thank god for this, you won’t be seeing Shia Labeouf in Indy 5, because it seems that Lucas did not like the character. In the next Indy movie, they want Indy to search for something. Lucas wants Indy to go on the next adventure alone without Mutt or Marion.

MTV Movies Blog reports:

http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/08/05/exclusive-indiana-jones-5-wont-center-on-shia-labeouf-george-lucas-insists/

While I did love Indy and the Crystal Skull very much, I kind of found Mutt Williams annoying. Frank Darabont’s version of this movie didn’t even have the character in it at all. Spielberg and Lucas have been loving this Mutt Williams character too much that they seem to quickly change their mind.

If “Indy 5” does get the greenlight by Paramount, lets hope they do a different story on the next one. Make the next one not be a sci fi the next time. Because “Indy 4” had a lot of mixed feelings by Indy fans about the sci fi stuff. I personally loved the sci fi being mixed into Indy but most people didn’t.

We need an Indy film that “everybody” can enjoy.

Report: Arnold finally speaks and gives his thoughts on “Terminator Salvation”…

The Governator Arnold, finally found some free time to speak to the media on his honest thoughts of the new Terminator film that McG is making, “Terminator Salvation”. The film makers have shown him little footage. He says he doesn’t have a feel for it and he wishes McG well on the film.

He also said in this article that he had seen the movies “The Dark Knight”, “Iron Man” and “Wanted (starring Angelina Jolie) and Arnold says he loved the movie “Wanted” very much. He says if you don’t live up to the Terminator series and gives advice that if the film has impressive special effects, the film could dominate box office.

He admits he won’t be seeing the new Terminator film when it hits theaters but hopes the film will be a hit and it sells well.

Beware, if you haven’t seen the movie “Wanted” yet, Arnold kind of gave out the ending a little bit.

More on it here:

Notice Arnold never once brought up anything about him being in the new film. I think he’s keeping things under wraps.

Thought: Beth Phoenix is the best wrestling diva in the history of WWE!!!

There has been many female wrestlers over the years in WWE. From the old days of classics of WWE we had wrestling divas such as Mae Young, Fabulous Moolah, Lita, Sable, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Chyna, etc.

Now here comes a woman wrestler named Beth Phoenix (real name: Elizabeth Carolan) who was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Before entering the WWE, Beth worked for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) for a number of years.

I would like to say that Beth Phoenix aka the Glamazon has certainly grabbed my attention, I’ve been a fan of hers ever since she showed up in WWE on her first day on television. It’s about time we get a woman wrestler who actually knows how to wrestle really good, doing a lot more moves than just pulling hair and slapping across the face like most divas seem to be doing.

I hope WWE keeps Beth Phoenix around for a long time, she’s the best wrestling diva I’ve ever seen. Great looks, amazing body, you never know what this woman can do out in the wrestling ring. I enjoy watching her and look forward to seeing her on screen everytime RAW or the PPV’s come on. I like Mickie James too, but Beth Phoenix is better.

For the wrestling fans out there, lets hear your thoughts on this woman if you agree with me or not.

Report: Mary Kate Olsen’s reps speaks out saying she had nothing to do with the drugs that killed Heath Ledger…

The former “Full House” star famed for one of the child actresses playing the iconic role of Michelle is still denying giving drugs or not knowing how Heath Ledger got the drugs that killed the “The Dark Knight” star. Ever since Heath’s death, federal investigators has been trying to send Mary Kate Olsen into questioning but twice she refused. Mary Kate was best friends with the actor before he died.

If Mary Kate continues to refuse to come forward to authorities for questioning, she will be forced to be in front of a grand jury in a trial. The authorities became suspicious of Heath’s death when Mary Kate refused Heath’s masseuse to call 911 when she wanted her security for help instead of paramedics. Heath Ledger’s body was discovered earlier this year on Jan. 22.

The Associated Press reports:

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h_k1n_zmAFHkxYYOBmztTgWLpDIgD92BNK9O0

I’ve been pointing my fingers at Mary Kate from day 1, if she turns out to being responsible for Heath’s death, then that wouldn’t surprise me.

Authorities are closing in on her fast and it’s good.

What kind of a best friend Mary Kate would be if she never grieved Heath’s death, she never went to his funeral, she never flew to New York to support him, yet she’s over in California doing her usual partying and making out with boys in clubs. Yeah, sounds like a best friend to me.

May her soon rot in prison.

Report: An update on Ric Flair’s departure with WWE!!!

In the news of the wrestling world, sources say Ric Flair left on good terms, so it appears he has no negative grudges with Vince McMahon in real life, they’re all good and cool. All that stuff on TV where Flair and McMahon are hating on each other are just storyline stuff.

Flair is just frustrated how the WWE is using him lately. He thinks the WWE should promote and market his new DVD more by having him get more screen time on WWE TV.

Flair was originally scheduled to work with WWE longer as agent or a play by play commentator.

More on it here:

http://www.wrestling-radio.com/index.php?view=newsitem&hline=7604

Flair had a great run in WWE anyways, and yes, I’m sure he will be back on TV when the WWE come to an agreement to whatever Flair wants in the future.
