I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, blogger, writer, poet, bodybuilder, movie lover, music lover, video gamer, history/political buff, conservative/republican, etc. I like to do a lot of things.

Finally, the official, “Man Of Steel” facebook page is online…

Warner Bros. finally put up their official facebook page for the “Man of Steel” movie, directed by Zack Snyder. Proof that it’s Warner Bros. page? Check the new S shield logo at the top. That’s never been released before anywhere. Could that be the possible teaser poster?

See the official facebook page of “Man of Steel”, here.

That’s where they’ll be posting the trailers, posters, movie stills, news, etc.

I’m really praying they did a good job with this movie, and I hope Zack doesn’t mess it up. I want a really good Superman movie like everyone else. I hope this is a Superman movie that we’ve all been wanting for years. A great Superman movie told with heart and plenty of action.

The Superman franchise tries their best to come out with a great movie but fails every time. Hopefully this film, will make everyone walk out of the theater with smiles on our faces, and that’s what we want out of a Superman movie!

I may as well just find a real drummer to jam with!!!

I had a conversation with a musician today and he said, if I want to get better at rhythm guitar playing, I should just find a human drummer to jam with. Which is not a bad idea after all, and I might actually do it. One way of becoming a better guitarist and improving your musicianship is playing with other musicians as much as possible. Musicians that are real and human. Not jamming with a computer, lol.

I do want to play more professionally and trying to improve. I might start looking for a drummer after all. Trying to become an actual musician is hard work and I’m getting there. If I want to be respected as an actual musician and prove people, that I do know what I’m doing, I feel this is what I need to do. Step up and try to improve my guitar playing chops.

Loren Weisman: “Surprise Your Fans, Don’t Give It Away, All the Time”…

Loren Weisman, my favorite music blogger, once again wrote another great blog. Giving advice to bands how to reveal big news as a way to surprise your fans more, read it, here.

Right, once again. I’m noticing a lot of bands around here, have a huge problem of releasing huge band news too early. It’s a bad idea to do, in my opinion. Wait until the time is right, and then be EXPLOSIVE.

Going to be on the cover of Metroland or any other local paper? Don’t announce it, wait until it comes out. Going to open for a huge national act or did you get signed to a big label? Don’t announce it too early, wait for the right time!

If you get a huge opportunity, don’t spoil it for the fans. Do the right thing and surprise them big, you would get a lot more respect and more love that way!

If I want to become a better guitar player, I should buy a drummer instructional book…

If I want to get even better at rhythm guitar playing and even if I know nothing about drums, I really should buy an instructional drummer book. That’s right, a book that teaches you how to play drums. I don’t own a drumset, but a guitarist learning all the drummers secrets can help you become a better rhythm player at guitar. If I want to get good with home recording, I should start reading drums instructional stuff. Hell, I may even buy my own drum set someday whenever I can afford one.

I think I’m going to the mall next week so I can see, “The Hunger Games” movie, and I’ll probably do a little shopping while I’m at it too, so I’ll hit Barnes & Noble and buy a drummers instructional book. Learning the stuff from drummers, will help me learn timing and rhythm better. Learning how to play drums even if you don’t own a drumset will also help you play “virtual” drums on computer software better too.

Yeah, I’m really trying to get my rhythm down better, as you can clearly hear. I really need to learn this stuff if I want to get my own band going. Gotta have the good rhythm chops if I want to play in a tight rock n’ roll band.

Report: Chloe Moretz is the new Carrie White!!!

MGM studios is in negotiations with young actress, Chloe Moretz (she’s 15), to star as Carrie White in the remake of Stephen King’s, “Carrie”. While this is a nice choice, Chloe and Sissy do look pretty similar to each other, almost like sisters! Sissy played the character when she was 27, so it looks like they are going for younger casting. If you don’t know who Chloe Moretz is, you might have seen her in the film, “Kick-Ass” (she played Hit Girl), and the vampire film, “Let Me In”.

I think a “Carrie” remake, could be pretty good if they did it right. I just hope they don’t ruin the prom scene. The original prom scene from the 1976 film was the best part of the whole movie and the remake might not be able to top it. Who knows, we just might have to wait and see. I’m curious.

Deadline, reports.

Cool Video: “Total Recall” remake trailer hits the web…

The “Total Recall” remake which stars Colin Farrel  and Kate Beckinsale, teaser trailer has been released this week. So far, it looks pretty cool. Yes, I said that. Like this video says, the full trailer hits world wide this Sunday. So before you badly judge this movie wait until the full trailer is released this weekend.

Like everyone else, I too am wondering if they’ll still put the three titted alien woman in this remake.

A band or solo artist must understand that the more popular and bigger you get, the more it will bring out all kinds of weird people…

If you’re a new & young band or solo act, just getting well known and recognition with your music, one thing you must understand that it’s going to bring out all kinds of weird people. Like I always say, a mixture of reactions. Some will like you, some will not. You could also get all kinds of crazed fans, writing weird stuff about you in social networking sites. Another thing, that your popularity will also help get you in touch with people from your past that you haven’t seen in a long time, either good or bad experiences with that person.

I know all of this is going to be confusing and strange to the new bands out there just getting success, but don’t get bothered by the mixed reactions. The new and young bands, still have a problem with taken it all too seriously. Being too upset about things or disappointed.

The last thing a band or musician wants to do is to be upset or disappointed with the mixed reactions. That’s how the music world goes, you know? You need to stay above the negative stuff and be thankful that you came this far with the music. Don’t reply to the haters at all, just be thankful for it anyway. Don’t be all defensive toward music websites giving you bad reviews, just be thankful for it anyway.

Having a good and positive attitude about your career, no matter what happens, will get you even farther in your music.

I mean, I’m just speaking from experience once again. When I started my music back in 2006, to bring it to the public to get heard, all kinds of weird reactions started coming after me. People either loved me or hated me, it’s all good, in my part. I’m not worried about if people don’t like my online web presence. I am, who I am and there’s nothing people can do to change it.

Just be grateful for everything. Whether people are making fun of you for laughs, or just flat out bashing you publicly, just take it with heart and see it as good publicity. Bad publicity can be good, right?

Responding to everything is just a bad idea. There’s a certain band that should be nameless, that has a problem with this, and this is all I’m trying to help them on.

Lyrics for “It’s a Miracle”…

My new tune, “It’s a Miracle”, is clearly sending out a positive message that you don’t need to feel down or depressed during these tough economic times. Instead of going into depression or even suicidal, the song wants to let people know you can still live a happy and positive life, even if you’re having financial problems. You hear about people all the time, complaining how they can’t get a job or having tight budgets at their home. You don’t have to be like that. The song wants you to feel strong and feel good about yourself. Look at the lyrics from where I’m coming from….

“It’s a Miracle”

Just hang in there, keep your chin up. Our country will get better, oh yes, it will.

We need a new President, to fix our home. Just give it time, oh yes, it will.

CHORUS: It’s a Miracle, that we’re still alive. It’s a Miracle, there’s nothing to fear.

Just enjoy life, and be happy. Just stay real strong and be positive.

We will get more money. We will get more jobs. Our economy will improve, oh yes, it will.

We have a broken goverment, that needs some cleaning. We need the right man for the job, oh yes, we do.

REPEAT CHORUS

Bridge: Please calm down, no need to yell. Lower your voice, we will get heard.

REPEAT CHORUS (2x’s).

Here’s an Mp3 of “It’s A Miracle” for your downloading pleasure…

I thought it would be cool if I had an Mp3 version of the song, that way you can download it for your Ipods or whatever Mp3 player you have.

ItsAMiracle

A lot of people accused me of not being able to do the full band thing, well I think I just proved them wrong. I DO KNOW WHAT I’M DOING MUSICALLY!

I’m planning on working on, “Mr. Tough Guy” and, “A Secret Hidden”, next.

Actually I don’t need to buy a special USB microphone for the Ipad…

I won’t bother buying an Irig Mic or a USB Mic for the Ipad. What I did for the latest recording, was, I just recorded the music in Garageband. So I brought the music over to this computer, and just recorded the vocals on “Music Creator 5” on the PC. It worked better that way. So I’ll record the music on Garageband, and then record the vocals on the PC, that’s how I’ll do this from now on.

I’ll try to write a couple of heavy rock songs next time. I’m thinking of turning “Mr. Tough Guy”, into a full band track next. An older song I wrote back in 2006, but I would like a full band version of that song. I’ll be making some of my older songs into full band and I’ll be writing new ones too.

Yep, Garageband is definitely better than ProTools. ProTools is all complicated stuff, Garageband is really easy.
