Thought: Sean Penn getting angry public outrage for his Oscar win instead of Mickey Rourke!!!

Mickey Rourke didn’t win an Oscar last night. So what? Sean Penn deserves it, every step of the way. Those out there, slamming Sean Penn’s win for his role as Harvey Milk, don’t understand the talented actor Sean Penn is. I haven’t even seen the movie “Milk”, but I’m sure he did a great job. People are blaming the homosexual views of the character being responsible for the win, which I believe isn’t true. They gave the award to Sean because he’s simply one of the best actors in all of Hollywood.

This is Sean Penn’s second Oscar win as Best Actor. He first won for Best Actor for his role in “Mystic River”.

Those shitting on Sean Penn, are probably new and young Hollywood fans who probably tuned in to see Robert Pattison or the High School the Musical kids present awards. Do yourself a favor and see some of Sean Penn’s older films when he’s starring the leading role.

Some great Sean Penn movies that you should rent: “Mystic River”, “Dead Man Walking”, “I am Sam”, “The Interpreter”, “21 Grams”, etc. Just to name a few.

I kind of had a feeling that either Sean Penn or Brad Pitt were going to take the win instead of Mickey anyway. Mickey may win big at other award shows, but think about it, the other award shows are not as big as the Oscars. Mickey still has a long way to go to make his Oscar winning dream come true.

Winning an Oscar is a long road for an actor. It don’t happen for new and upcoming actors too much. Sean Penn is great and talented. Don’t diss the guy for his Oscar win, ’cause many movie fans don’t realize what it takes to be an actor.

Report: Dan Aykroyd says “Ghostbusters 3” might go in production this fall…

Dan Aykroyd said the script for “Ghostbusters 3” is finished, ready to go, and all he needs now is to wait for the studio to say, “Yes, go ahead and make the film”. In other words, he needs to wait for the greenlight now. Hopefully they’ll get a response in the summer, and once they get the greenlight, they’ll start filming “Ghostbusters 3” this fall.

Very nice! Glad the film is still moving forward. I’m also looking forward to the video game as well.

My question is, who will direct “Ghostbusters 3”? Ivan Reitman or Harold Ramis? Either one of them choices would be good for me.

Thought: Did Jennifer Aniston avoid the red carpet to avoid Bradgelina?

I watched the red carpet Oscar specials both on Channel E! and Channel 10, Jen Aniston and John Mayer were no where to be seen. They must of went through the private back entrance of the Oscars to avoid the red carpet. I think the obvious answer is, she wanted to avoid a run-in with Angelina and Brad? There were mamy stars that avoided the red carpet. Some stars avoid the red carpet to avoid photogs and the media. With Jen Aniston though, she wanted to avoid Bradgelina so the media wouldn’t be all over it.

Notice at the Oscars last night when she was presenting an award with Jack Black, they kept pointing the camera at Angelina Jolie’s face with Brad being left off camera. What? The camera man didn’t want to see the look on Brad’s face while Jen Aniston was speaking onstage? Could be. When Jen Aniston was speaking on stage, Bradgelina was sitting in the front row, pretty much in front of the microphone where they were speaking.

I’m glad there was no Brad and Jen Aniston reuniting last night. If there was, the media would be all over non stop and they probably didn’t want that.

Thought: Chris Jericho will definitely have something to say about Mickey Rourke losing an Oscar tonight on RAW!!!!

Last week on RAW Chris Jericho begged the Academy to not give the Oscar to Mickey Rourke for “Best Actor”. Well, Jericho’s wish actually came true. Tonight on RAW, you can betcha that Jericho will be out in the ring, smiling and being happy, and all that Mickey Rourke didn’t win anything. Jericho will be trashing him tonight, big time. Of course, a different legend will probably confront Jericho tonight.

Rumours going around the wrestling websites, that it maybe Sgt. Slaughter next, but we’ll have to tune in RAW tonight to see.

On a side note, you know what would be funny if Mickey Rourke did win last night, he goes up to make his acceptance speech and suddenly Jericho interupts him at the Oscars? It would be scripted of course, but it would have added fuel  to the fire for their Wrestlemania fued. Jericho showing up at the Oscars during Rourke’s acceptance speech would have been hilarious!!!

BREAKING NEWS: SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE IS “BEST PICTURE OF THE YEAR” AT THE OSCARS!!!!

As expected, I always knew that “Slumdog Millionaire” was going to be the big Oscar winner this year, ever since I first saw the movie in theater. It is well deserved. “Slumdog Millionaire” is such an amazing film, I loved it too much. I think the film is still playing in theaters now, so go see it if you haven’t yet.

Sean Penn ended up winning for “Best Actor”, poor Mickey. Even Sean himself seem dissapointed that Mickey wasn’t up there holding the award instead of him, ’cause Sean gave him a shout out at the end of his speech. Sean Penn deserves it though ’cause he is an amazing actor as well as he is an amazing director too. So I would say that Sean Penn getting the win for “Best Actor” is the shocker of the night.

Kate Winslet winning for “Best Actress” was no surprise to me, I never even seen “The Reader” or “Revolutionary Road” yet, but I’ll see them two movies when they come out on DVD.

A.R. Rahman winning for both music categories was also no surprise to me, I knew it was going to happen. He performed real good too. John Legend ended up singing, “Down to Earth” instead of Peter Gabriel.

Heath Ledger winning was great and seeing his family up there was special. Soon that golden statue will go to Matilda.

Penelope Cruz gets the shocking win for “Best Supporting Actress”, I was thinking the winner for that was going to be Viola Davis, but thought wrong.

Hugh Jackman did a great job hosting the Oscars, he was entertaining doing all them musicals as well. He can really sing, he can dance, he can perform well doing theatre, I was impressed.

The Oscars were very different this year. No John Travolta, no Joaquin Phoenix which is understandable. I’m sure those two guys were watching the Oscars on TV at home but I’m sure they couldn’t be there for other reasons.

I really liked this year’s Oscars, really good show, I think it’s one of the bests in a long time. The Oscars should keep this different format every year. Only thing I didn’t like was Queen Latifah singing over the, “In Memoriam” segments. I think that was the only thing that was pretty poorly done. Other than that, it was a good show. Seeing Eddie Murphy tributing Jerry Lewis was awesome. Great job Academy!!!

Cool Video: Mickey Rourke’s acceptance speech at the Spirit Awards…

Here is Mickey Rourke’s acceptance speech from the Spirit Awards, check it out. It’s hilarious. There’s no holds barred uncensored speeches where they let celebrities speak whatever they want on stage. Probably because this award show was aired on cable pay TV, a channel called IFC. A channel where it is uncut and uncensored. This award show was aired on AMC too but it was probably censored on that channel, but on IFC it wasn’t censored.

Check out the uncensored speech here. Mickey says the word fuck a lot. He also talked about his dog that just died, he gave Vince McMahon and the WWE a nice shoutout, and talked about Marisa Tomei as well.

Will Mickey win an Oscar tonight? I’m hoping, and crossing my fingers, we’ll watch and find out. If Brad Pitt or Sean Penn wins instead, that’ll be dissapointing. The Oscars is on tonight at 8:30 with the red carpet introduction a half hour before it.

I’ll write my thoughts on the Oscars after the show tonight. I’m so dying to see “The Wrestler” so badily, but I got to wait for DVD for it though.

Report: Arnold says he’s doing, “The Expendables”…

Arnold himself responds to TMZ after they posted the news that “he may or may not” film, “The Expendables” because of his political work. Arnold went on a TV show and says he’s definitely filming the movie for Sly, and action movie fans. Arnold says he’s done a few other cameos for other films while he was still Governor, so he has no problem doing a cameo for “Terminator: Salvation” or “The Expendables”.

See Arnold’s response to TMZ here:

http://www.tmz.com/2009/02/22/schwarzenegger-says-hes-expendable/

Yep, the Governator appeared in cameos in, “The Rundown” and “Around the World In 80 Days” while being Governor, he still does cameos once in a while because he still knows that he has movie fans that want to see him in film still.

Arnold and Sly playing in a scene together will be golden. Whether’s it’s a small scene or not, it is Hollywood’s dream come true.
