BREAKING NEWS: Led Zeppelin will never use their music for videogames…

If you’ve been wondering why Led Zeppelin has never used any of their songs for the earlier Guitar Hero games or Rock Band, it’s because the band refuses to allow any videogames use their music.

So if you’re expecting Led Zeppelin to release their own Guitar Hero like Aerosmith did, don’t get your hopes up, because it looks like it will never happen.

I guess I was wrong when I said the band would want to do something like this.

Man this blows.

I can understand why, it’s their music, their copyright, bands do what they want with their music.

Maybe Jimmy Page will have a change of heart toward the videogames down the road, but I doubt it. The band probably knows nothing about video games since video games weren’t even around back in the bands hey day.

Well, look like the two cops has nothing to do with starting the rumour of David Lee Roth almost dying from eating nuts. David Lee Roth has an imposter, a guy that looks almost exactly like him, and pretending to be him. The man posing as David Lee Roth appears to be a scammer.

Report: Snoop Dogg remixes Johnny Cash “I Walk the Line” into a rap song…

There is a Johnny Cash tribute album in the works that will be done by rap and dance/techno artists. The artists will take Johnny Cash’s vocals and remix them into rap and dance songs. The name of the album is titled “Johnny Cash Remixed” scheduled to hit stores everywhere Oct. 14th.

Snoop Dogg does a remix and cover of Johnny Cash’s song “I Walk the Line”. Snoop says he is a huge fan of Johnny Cash’s music and a big inspiration to his own music. He also says if you listen to country music very closely and carefully, it is very similar to rap/hip hop.

Snoop is right that rap is similar to country. Why do you think Kid Rock is able to mix rap and country together? Think about it.

Report: David Lee Roth to news media, “Stop making shit up about me…”

David Lee Roth tells TMZ that he is perfectly fine. He says that him being allergic to nuts is bullshit and made up stories. He was in Canada for a Van Halen concert. He had no encounters or incidents with the police and he was not rushed to the hospital.

Report: Metallica to release box set of “Death Magnetic”…

The boys in Metallica announced the news that the band will release a box set edition of their new album “Death Magnetic” set to hit stores in September. The box set will include all kinds of goodies like the new “Death Magnetic” album will of course be in it, also a disc of demos, a behind the scenes DVD the making of the album, a Metallica t-shirt, flag, guitar picks and all sorts of stuff.

The box set is mainly made for the longtime hardcore fans who still support the band to this day. I’m sure the regular “Death Magnetic” studio album will be released without the box setting too.

I’ll probably just get the regular CD, I don’t need that box set. I love Metallica but I’m not that much of a die hard.

Report: Scott Weiland hangs out at Club Hot Shots in Glens Falls after a concert…

Stone Temple Pilots recently just played a concert at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y. Right after the show, Scott Weiland decided to hang out at Club Hot Shots sports bar and restaurant for a bite to eat, a couple of drinks and to relax after a gig. While Weiland seems very nice to people, he was willing to pose pics and sign autographs for fans in the small club in Glens Falls.

Don’t believe me that Scott Weiland was there at Hot Shots? Here are a few pics to prove it, Scott is the one wearing the baseball cap with the white long hair…it was just Scott at Hot Shots…Dean, Robert, and Eric were not there.

Look like Hot Shots is starting to be a favorite bar hangout for famous rock stars when they play the Civic Center. Cool.

Report: Tenacious D planning new album…

Kyle Gass spoke to Billboard.com and revealed the news that he and Jack are planning a new album. They want it to be a follow up to the movie soundtrack “The Pick of Destiny”. But don’t expect them to finish and release the new album anytime soon, they want to take their time with it and make it a really good one. They want to make the next one a hit.

These guys write a lot of songs about “cock sucking”. The “Pick of Destiny” soundtrack is all about that really. Hope the next one will be different and they shouldn’t overdo the “cock sucking” lyrics in the songs.

I enjoy Jack and Kyle, but they need to write about different stuff.

Report: David Lee Roth almost dies over nuts? Huh?

Don’t get the wrong idea about the word “nuts”. I don’t think they are reffering to a man’s testicles. They are referring to the snack that you eat. David Lee Roth the current singer for Van Halen is allergic to nuts. He was driving himself to the hospital and he was speeding. When cops chased after him and finally pulled him over, the cops realized he was in a anaphylactic shock.

The two police officers never realized he was “David Lee Roth” from Van Halen and took them a while to figure out it was really him. The officers called the ambulance after noticing the rock singer was in trouble and was very sick.

David Lee Roth was immediately rushed to the hospital. The officers weren’t star struck over him, they were just trying to save his life as they would do to other innocent people. Just doing their job.

David must of ate a bowl of ice cream or a candy bar when he didn’t realize that had nuts in it.

I know many people out there don’t like nuts in snack foods like myself, but I never heard of people being allergic to nuts.

Very weird. And glad David survived and is ok.

Report: No Metallica and Beatles “Guitar Hero” video game just yet, game officials say…

Since the release of “Aerosmith: Guitar Hero” rumours circulated the net that Metallica and the Beatles may each release their own Guitar Hero video game by Activision. Red Octane the game’s publisher denied the rumours although Metallica hinted on their official website that it “might” actually happen.

The Red Octane officials say there are no current plans to do a Metallica and Beatles: Guitar Hero games. They are not ready to comment on Metallica yet. However, the company plans to do a Guitar Hero on other legendary bands such as Led Zeppelin and Ac/DC.

I hope Guitar Hero releases a Led Zeppelin video game, that would be so fuckin’ sweet!

If Activision and Red Octane asks Led Zep, I’m sure Jimmy Page would be game for it. Page is good with Led Zeppelin fans and Pagey would want the opportunity to experiment with a videogame, it’ll give Pagey an opportunity to explore new sounds with Led Zep’s music. Pagey is such a huge sound guy and he’ll probably produce the music on the game too.

While Jimmy Page is known for his guitar playing, he is underrated at his producing skills. He’s one of the most talented and creative producers on this planet.
