About Justin Bieber getting arrested for drag racing while drunk thoughts…

1617658_10152055819295318_1405787031_o

Welp, the big news all day is that Justin Bieber have been arrested this morning for drag racing while drunk on alcohol and resisting arrest from the cops. Sure enough, mixed feelings and reactions toward this on the internet. The haters get all excited and begging him to get deported back to Canada — the Beliebers whine about it and sure enough, they want him freed. He is freed of bail for now.

It’s obvious Bieber started drinking at a very young age. He’s 19 and I’m sure he started even younger. Most adults start the drinking, and hard partying at a young age. I started drinking and partying at a young age too but NOT too young. I started partying hard at 18 so I got into it pretty late. I don’t party hard anymore ’cause it’s boring, stupid, and I needed to get out of it.

With all this trouble Bieber has been getting into (the egg throwing, pissing in public places, being carried on the shoulders of his bodyguard on the Great Wall of China, etc.), I think this is just Bieber trying to act like a teenager. Most teenagers these days can be like this and Justin just wants to try and live that life and have fun. I understand he’s the world’s most famous pop star and he’s trying to enjoy it as much as he can but he better be careful with  his fame.

When Bieber rose to fame over youtube as a young child, everyone thought he was this lovable child who thought that he would be something but now that he’s older and more famous, he’s being looked at in a negative way. It’s just that Justin’s ego is getting way out of hand. I think Justin’s ego is worse than Kanye’s. The smile in the mugshot really shows it too.

I understand Biebs wants to enjoy the fame and fortune but he must be careful or he’ll end up like Paul Walker. I bet Justin’s father, Jeremy is scared to death and worried about him right now. I wouldn’t exactly blame all this on Jeremy and bad parenting, though. Justin’s getting in trouble ’cause fame and fortune will do that to you. Fame will kill you and ruin your life easily. That’s what happened to Michael Jackson and actors like Heath Ledger.

If you think fame is cool then you need to think twice. There’s nothing cool about fame. I don’t think I’d want it.

I used to have no problem with Bieber until now and I agree, deport him back to Canada.

Ozzy-era Black Sabbath finally on Itunes!!!

1528702_10151956560799615_464250331_n

After many years of Ozzy-era Black Sabbath avoiding Itunes, the band finally decided to have a change of heart. I’ll probably get all these except for the first Black Sabbath album which I already have on CD. The rest of ’em I’ll probably get so I can listen to on my Ipod Touch at the gym. All of these albums are great, though.

When will Kid Rock and Garth Brooks ever have a change of heart with Itunes???

Happy birthday to David Bowie, Robby Krieger and Elvis Presley!!!

Today, 3 big icons of rock share a birthday, and they are obviously David Bowie, Robby Krieger (guitarist of the Doors), and Elvis Presley. I’m a huge fan of all of these guys.

Yes, I wanna start covering some Doors songs and Elvis songs for youtube as well. Will get around to it.

I wanted to post videos and pictures of all these guys but that’ll be a lot of work so I’ll just do a quick post.

Happy birthday to all three of them! Both David and Robby must be thrilled to share a birthday with Elvis.

Welp, all of my respect and love for Lady Gaga is gone… and here’s why…

After seeing Lady Gaga trying to promote Obamacare in a positive manner, I’m no longer a fan of hers. Used to “love” her but she’s nothing more but a liberal c**t. Welp, guess I’m gonna have to get rid of her albums in my CD collection. I unfollowed her on twitter and facebook too.  It really bothers me that some people still suck President Obama’s dick. I think she knows that Obamacare is bad. The only reason she did it ’cause she has a new album out and it’s not selling well. She did it to exploit President Obama and try to promote her new record. She’s an obvious Obama supporter. Well if she supports him… then I’m done supporting her.

Why listening to live albums are better than studio albums…

I love listening to live albums for a lot of reasons. Live albums don’t get any respect anymore like they used to. People don’t like live albums ’cause they don’t like hearing the crowd cheering in the background. I like to listen to a lot of live albums especially live albums by artists such as Led Zep, Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, and Joe Satriani are the ones who put out the best live albums, in my opinion.

Live albums are awesome ’cause it’s better hearing music that is live and it’s more real that way. When you’re playing live there are no “takes”. You know how when you record in a studio, you have to re-record it over and over again until it’s right? Well playing live, there is no such thing. You have to play the song in one take on stage. If you mess up riffs, chords or lyrics… who cares just keep playing right through it. If bands/artists mess up certain parts during the live recording, they are mostly edited out in the studio anyway. There is also more freedom of playing your songs on stage than in the studio. In the studio you are only given a certain amount of time for recording songs while on stage you have all the time you want. You can play your song for as long as you want and you can make it sound as different as you want. When playing, you never want to play the same song the same way twice at every show. You want to play it different at every show. Give it a different feeling. A different energy.

Led Zeppelin and Hendrix may have played the same songs at their concerts over the years in their tours but each version sounded so different at each concert. They never sounded the same. If you want an example listen to Hendrix’s “Hear My Train A Coming” at various live shows of his. All of his jams of that song are so different every time. Different solos, different guitar parts… he would even make the singing different too. More improvisation.

Listening to live albums is exciting and unpredictable. In my opinion, I find that listening to live albums more powerful than studio albums. Hendrix “Live at the Fillmore” is one of my favorite live albums of all time and David Bowie’s “Live at the BBC Sessions” is another one.

In live albums, it really shows that an artist have talent.

Why do you think bands like Led Zep, Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Grateful Dead, Hendrix, etc. do a lot of live albums more than their studio albums? It’s because they were meant to be for “live” music.

These bands see their live concerts as their 1st priority for them. The studio albums are just secondary. All studio albums do is help get people know their songs and get familiar with them for their live concerts.

Live albums are awesome. I love listening to them. I wish people wouldn’t neglect live albums. They are pretty important to listen to that a lot of people are missing.

I love it when people expect bands to play their favorite songs the same way on the CD when you know that’s never gonna happen, and then they walk out of the show complaining about it. I’ve seen people like that before and it makes me sick. Bands never play their songs live the same way on the CD ’cause why? They can’t help themselves. It’s called jamming. Improvisation.

Respect the live album. I have quite a lot of live albums in my CD collection.

The music industry will NEVER conquer illegal downloading no matter how hard they try, sorry about that Beyonce…

Beyonce probably has that look on her face in the picture above after finding out the news that her newest album has been illegally downloaded 240,000 times and she lost $3.8 million in record sales. The only reason that downloading music for free is illegal ’cause it loses the record industry money. The industry can do all their best to fight illegal downloading but it’s never going away. Illegal downloading will just keep getting bigger. They can sue people all they want to and they can come up with all kinds of crazy technology to help stop it but no matter what they do, they’ll never conquer illegal downloading. Pirates will always find their way around it.

I don’t see how downloading free music hurts the industry as it doesn’t make any sense to me. I think there will be a time where the music industry will turn into a free market whenver the industry can’t do anything to stop illegal downloading. The time will come. Maybe not now but someday the industry will allow bands/artists to sell their albums at any price of their choosing whether free or not. That’s what a lot of local/indie bands are doing these days, right?

These artists should feel flattered if these pirates admire them and love them. Like with the Iron Maiden thing… illegal downloading will help boost ticket sales to concerts. Illegal downloading is not all bad… there are pros and cons with that stuff.

Early album leaks and illegal downloads are still a huge problem in the industry.  That is just proof alone that people believe in a free music market. I don’t listen to Beyonce’s music… I’m not a fan and hate her but I just wanted to speak my mind about this one.

More on the story, here.

This is exactly why bands shouldn’t be against music piracy… take note from Iron Maiden!!!!!

Are all bands against music piracy? Are they against fans downloading their music for free illegally? Not all of them. Some of them are actually all for people stealing their music whenever they want to. Metal legends, Iron Maiden has been in touch with a company called, MusicMetric, which is a company that measures data of how well a band does with illegally downloaded music. The company is able to tell how much music is illegally downloaded in countries all over the world. Iron Maiden has found that a lot of people has downloaded their music illegally from countries such as South America, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. Is the band upset for fans illegally downloading their music? Nope. Think again. Seems like they are so flattered that they performed concerts for pirates instead.

See? This is what I’M FUCKING TALKING ABOUT GUYS!!!! It should be all up to the band how they want to release their music, not the labels. There are some bands out there that think music should be a free market and it’s great to see that Iron Maiden is one of those bands who believe in it.

This is their way of taking a stand against the shady music industry and it’s awesome. Makes me respect Iron Maiden even more now!

Music doesn’t always have to be about the money, ya know? It should be about playing music for the people and sharing it. That’s what a lot of these guys do it for. Iron Maiden doesn’t give a rats ass about money and this shows it too! It’s all about the love of music guys. If you let people take your music free… you can get more popular and more fans that way.

I refuse to put my music on Itunes and Spotify ’cause I don’t want people paying for my music. I’ll just let people take it and listen to it. A free music market is a better way to get your music out there.

Why won’t Billy Joel release a new album already?

I love Billy Joel and all. He’s been a favorite of mine for years and he’s a hero & inspiration but I also think the dude is kind of a douche and a bit greedy. Why can’t the man write a new record of pop songs for us like he’s good at? I’ve read interviews with him online and Billy says he’s not writing pop songs ’cause he’s simply tired of it. I hear him, though. Billy’s been writing pop songs since the 70’s and he is probably tired of it and wants to try different things. He says he’s done writing pop songs but not done making music completely. He says he’s been making classical music and plans on putting out a classical album at some point. He hasn’t written a new pop song in many years ’cause he simply doesn’t want to.

What I don’t get about him is he claims he’s done writing pop songs but he still tours on a regular basis and still plays all of his older songs live. What’s wrong with that picture? I think Billy is still capable of writing pop music… he’s just being a whiny baby.

Billy Joel is touring again this year. Set to return to the MGM Grand and set for several shows at Madison Square Garden. I think he still tours for the money obviously ’cause his ticket pricing sales are so high. His ticket pricing can go way up to $200. Pretty ridiculous. He’s got a make a living somehow, right?

I think he’s capable of putting out one more good pop album for all of us. I wish he would do that for the fans who still care about him. While I love Billy Joel, I can’t deny that he is greedy sometimes. He canceled out the Elton John concert in Albany (I’ll never forget it) and he canceled out his memoir book that he planned on publishing.

Want a new album by Billy Joel? Don’t expect one anytime soon. He’s planning to release re-issues of his older albums so that’s as far as you’ll get. It would be nice if he would give us an album of unreleased songs over the years — that’ll be better than nothing. I loved his last album, “River of Dreams” which was released in the early 90’s. I wish he would give us one more pop album. I’m sure a lot of his fans want him to do one more as well.

Check out Ghost B.C. here…

Who is that anonymous metal band from Sweden that I was talking about? Check out Ghost B.C. in this live performance here. Pretty cool, I would say. I’d love to see these guys live myself. They look like they put on a fun show. Their album “Infestissumam” is really good stuff. Great songwriting and great musicianship.

Will these guys tour with Slipknot someday? I can see it happening for sure.

Here’s my favorite song off that album. Enjoy!
