Oh goody, goody! More 3D craziness! James Cameron announced today that his next two films will be none other than “Avatar 2 & 3” to complete the trilogy. He was going to work on “Cleopatra” with Angelina Jolie but he pulled out of that, to work on Avatar instead. The next two Avatar films are slated to be released in December of 2014 and 2015.
While I’m more of a Star Trek fan than Star Wars, I’ll probably end up getting this. Simply because, I am also curious on what the Star Wars films will look and sound like on Blu Ray. I’m wondering if there is a big improvement than regular DVD.
“The Voyage of Dawn Treader” trailer is finally online. The movie looks awesome. As some of you may or may not know, I am a huge fan of the “Chronicles of Narnia” series. Love the books and the movies. Yes, the first two Disney movies of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” and “Prince Caspian” were both pretty incredible flicks. I’m looking forward to this one “Dawn Treader” and I’ll be there in the theaters for this movie as well. Notice the difference since Disney doesn’t own the “Narnia” series anymore and it’s now owned by 20th Century Fox? “Dawn Treader” is more aimed toward adults than kids. So I’m glad Disney doesn’t own it anymore.
Enjoy the trailer here. Looks awesome. Can’t wait to see it.
Now I’m getting very excited for the upcoming “A-Team” movie. IGN shows an exclusive scene from the film, it’s an action scene. As expected, the film looks like a great action ride. The film looks fun, seriously. Can’t wait to see it now!
I am such a huge fan of the “Planet of the Apes” movies. I even love the new one that was directed by Tim Burton. 20th Century Fox has greenlighted a release date for the prequel of “Planet of the Apes” for June 24th, 2011. Keep in mind folks, that I believe this is the prequel to the 1968 version (pictured above) that starred Charlton Heston. It’s not a prequel to the Tim Burton version.
I don’t know if I will be excited to see this one myself, because as the article said, the prequel plans to use CGI apes instead of using costumes. Tim Burton’s version used costumes, not CGI. Hope they don’t make it a popcorn action movie with full of visual 3D effects. They should stay true to the classic POTA’s movies.
Some may hate the idea of a “Commando” remake, but honestly, I like it. I think “Commando” is one Arnold movie that deserves one. Who will play Arnold’s character, John Matrix? He obviously needs to be big and muscular like Arnold, so they would need a bodybuilder/actor to fit the role. I would think 20th Century Fox would go for a younger actor.
They won’t go for Taylor Lautner ’cause he’s way too young for the role. They need a guy in their 30’s.
Another A-Team trailer just hit the internets. Surprisingly, they make the movie look better every trailer. I’m now anticipated to see it and looking forward to it. Check it out.
Well, here it is, the first teaser of the “A-team” movie. My thoughts? It’s look great, count me in the theater for this one definitely as I am a massive fan of the TV show. My only complaint is Rampage Jackson being Mr. T when I agree with everyone else, B.A. Baracus can only be played by Mr. T and no one else. Quinton Jackson just doesn’t work and he’s not the right fit. Other than that, I’m happy with the rest of the cast. Liam Neeson is perfect for Hannibal. Bradley Cooper is perfect for Faceman and Sharlto Copley is perfect for Murdoch which all three are an exact match. Nobody can copy Mr. T though. The film overall looks good. Looks like a fun action ride. Definitely excited for this one!
In the upcoming new, “A-Team” flick, we knew that one of the original A-Team cast will have a cameo. It turns out that Dwight Schultz who played the original Murdock from the TV series will be having a cameo in the movie.
In the pics above, there he is with a before and after pic, of what he looked like back in his younger days, and what he looks like now.
