Roseanne is the latest TV sitcom to get reboot…

It has just been announced that a Roseanne reboot is in the works. This is the latest TV sitcom reboot which seem to be a trending thing in the entertainment industry lately. The show is set to bring back the original cast. Of course, Roseanne Barr is coming back and yes, John Goodman is coming back too.

A premiere date hasn’t been set yet, though and they’re still trying to find a place to air the new show whether it’ll be for cable TV or streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, etc.

‘Roseanne’ Revival in the Works With Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert

The show “Roseanne” is the show where John Goodman was best known for. Back then, Goodman wasn’t a well known actor but when the show got over with, Goodman went on to become a huge movie star. We know John Goodman in such movies like “Raising Arizona”, “Barton Fink”, “The Big Lebowski”, “Arachnophobia”, “The Flintstones”, “O Brother, Where Art Thou” and many more.

This show should do pretty well in the ratings ’cause Roseanne Barr is a Trump supporter and I’m sure many Trump supporters will watch the show.

I used to watch “Roseanne” when I was young. It was a good show.

When are we ever going to get that “Married With Children” reboot/reunion show? I would like a “Home Improvement” comeback as well.

Sylvester Stallone makes surprising return to SNL for a cameo segment w/ John Goodman and Robert Deniro…

Last night on SNL, Sylvester Stallone makes a surprising return to SNL for a cameo segment with John Goodman and Robert Deniro to help promote the upcoming movie, “Grudge Match”. The last time Sly made an appearance on SNL was when he hosted the show back in 1997. Sly doesn’t do comedy too much but when he tries, he can be pretty good at it. This segment is pretty funny too. Enjoy.

Film Review: The Artist

Starring: Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo, John Goodman, James Cromwell
Directed by: Michel Hazanavicius

Today, I have seen the movie, “The Artist”. The movie that won, “Best Picture”, at this year’s Oscar awards show. I just had to see the film for myself so I can find out why it won, “Best Picture”.

Before the movie, I did pick up, “Game of Thrones – Season 1” on DVD and the new Springsteen album, “Wrecking Ball”. On with my review…

Plot/synopsis: This movie is set in Hollywood between the years 1927 – 1932 (back in those days, it used to be called, “Hollywoodland”). Silent film star, George Valentin (Jean Dujardin), celebrates the release of his film, “A Russian Affair” at the premiere. There, he meets a young woman named, Peppy Miller (Berenice Bejo), who is a big fan of Valentin’s acting career. The next day after, the two of them find themselves on the cover of Variety where Peppy gives a kiss on George’s cheek. Peppy drew a lot more attention than George and his new film instead. Peppy later, auditions for a role for a film as a dancer as she is of course, hired on the spot.

George began to fall crazily in love with her, but she has become a bigger star than him as years went along. As the 1930’s gets closer, sound film is introduced (movies with talking). As sound film is introduced, this began to turn George Valentin’s life upside down.

After seeing this film finally, I can now see why this film won, “Best Picture”. It certainly deserved the win. This was a beautifully made film. While this is the return of “silent film”, it’s not all the way a “silent film”. Not trying to give spoilers, but get the hint of “sound film” being introduced. That’s what the film is, it’s an introduction of “sound film”, movies with talking.

I was blown away with this film. So far, it’s the best film of 2012. Everything about this film is perfect. The writing, the acting, the musical score, etc. I wasn’t even bored one bit, and was entertained all the way through. Silent film may seem boring, but if you actually give this film a try, you won’t be bored at all. It was very enjoyable, and heartfelt. Powerful.

I was impressed with Jean Dujardin, so he definitely deserved the “Best Actor” win for the Oscars. John Goodman and James Cromwell was great as well. The real star we’re talking about here, is that dog in the film. The dog is what made the movie enjoyable. Without the dog, the film wouldn’t have mattered.

I love silent film. It’s beautiful art, so this deserves to make a comeback. This movie was filmed just like it was a real silent film. After watching this movie in theater, I kind of felt like I was in the 1920’s years. This film totally made you feel like what it would be like to watch a movie in theater like that back in those days. This movie, I believe, was a homage to Hollywoodland.

This film was definitely a masterpiece. Like I said once before, after this film, I can see Hollywood making more new silent movies. I hope Hollywood does make more. Could silent film over shadow the comeback of 3D movies??? That’s what I’m kind of hoping ’cause silent film is better than 3D, in my opinion.

Definitely check this movie out soon before it stops playing.

Score for “The Artist” = (**** “4 stars” as in Excellent)

Cool Photos: Jeff Bridges reunites with cast of “The Big Lebowski” last night in NYC!!!

Not only that Jeff Bridges celebrated the release of his debut solo album yesterday, he also reunited with the cast of “The Big Lebowski” last night in NYC. Everybody was there except for Joel and Ethan Coen who directed the film, they were no shows…but John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, John Turturro, and Julianne Moore were there. T. Bone Burnett was also there. While T. Bone Burnett didn’t score the music for the film, he produced the film’s soundtrack and picked the songs for the movie.

They were there to celebrate the release of the Limited Edition of “The Big Lebowski” Blu Ray/DVD which also came out yesterday.

Yesterday must be a thrilling and exciting day for Jeff Bridges. As you can see in the pics, Jeff is smiling really wide so he must of had that big smile all day. Congrats Jeff!

“The Big Lebowski” is one of my favorite comedy films by the way. I love the film too much. I plan to pick up Jeff Bridges new album tomorrow.

See the photos of the Big Lebowski reunion, here.

John Goodman is looking amazing. He’s definitely been working out and eating right ’cause every new pics that surface of John Goodman online, he seems to be getting thinner and thinner. So congrats go to John in his fitness success.

This is really John Goodman…WOW!!! :-)

Actor John Goodman went from this:

To this:

Well, look like somebody else has been working out really hard and eating right! I’m very impressed! Did John finally get tired of being overweight after all these years? It’s about time, man! Congratulations! Dayam, he’s lookin’ really good! Keep it up, dude! See? He doesn’t need Jillian Michaels or the Biggest Loser to lose weight, this guy did it on his own.

I hope Kevin Federline and Kirstie Alley are taking note.
