Would Ronda Rousey make a good superhero for a Marvel film? I would say so!

These look pretty cool and Ronda would make a perfect superhero, absolutely! After these photos came out, I think either Marvel and DC would be interested in getting her for a big female superhero role someday.

What female Marvel superheroes would Ronda be? Well she would be a good Captain Marvel for sure after seeing the photo but what about others?

Well here’s a list of them:

http://marvel.com/universe/Category:Women

Other than a female Captain Marvel, I think she’ll make a pretty good Dagger. You know Dagger from “Cloak & Dagger”?

I think Ronda will get her chance to play a superhero in a film sometime in the future whether it’ll be Marvel or DC. She’ll get her chance.

Film Review: “Avengers: Age of Ultron”…

Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson

Directed by: Joss Whedon

Today, I’ve just seen the new Avengers movie and here is my review:

Plot/Synopsis: When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for a global adventure.

The new Avengers movie, “Age of Ultron” was real good. This film is getting a lot of negative criticism but I thought it was better than the first one. People are complaining that this film has way too many characters but keep in mind that this is the Avengers. It’s supposed to have a lot of characters. The Avengers is a superhero group that is supposed to get bigger and bigger. So you can expect the third Avengers movie to add even more characters. If you’re complaining this film has too many characters, I assume you’ve never read the comics before ’cause the comics had way too many characters. If you’ve read the comics, you would see that the Avengers can go up to 10 members or more. Same thing with the X-Men.

The action in this movie was more fun and exciting than the first movie. I understand how people are upset with no Loki but hey can’t have the same villain in every movie. Gotta give other villains a chance ’cause there were plenty of other villains other than Loki in the Avengers comics. What’s great in Avengers 2 you get to see a lot more Hulk when you didn’t see him that much in the first one. I like Mark Ruffalo, he’s a really good actor, probably the best actor of this cast, in my opinion.

“Age of Ultron” was really fun and a blast to watch. I’ll give it a score of 5 out of 5 as in “excellent”.

“Fantastic Four” teaser trailer is finally out and looks awesome!!!

I maybe getting sick of superhero movies but once in a blue moon, I’ll be impressed with some of them like the first “Avengers” movie was really good, that film blew me away. I was also impressed with Marvel’s, “Guardians of the Galaxy”. I also loved DC/Warner Bros. “Man of Steel” and of course, Chris Nolan’s Batman trilogy is also really good.

I’m now interested in “Fantastic Four” movie. The trailer looks pretty interesting. Even though it’s a small teaser, it still gave me goosebumps.

Enjoy.

“The Avengers: Age of Ultron” trailer is finally here and it looks freakin’ badass!!!

Despite Loki not having anything to do with this film, the new Avengers movie still looks bad ass! Looks even better than the first. The new one looks very exciting.

I know this movie is gonna get a lot of critics ’cause of the CGI and stuff but it’s just a movie, ya know?

“Age of Ultron” looks awesome and I’ll be there for this one for sure.

After finally watching “Guardians of The Galaxy”, I think Dave Bautista is gonna be a HUGE movie star…

I just finished watching Marvel’s “Guardians Of the Galaxy” for the first time on BluRay disc and I thought the film was amazing as expected. The film was a nice blend of comedy, sci-fi, drama and action. The film had a great cast. The movie was beautifully filmed and the script was well-written too. While the cast did a great job, I was most impressed with Dave Bautista who played, Drax The Destroyer. Drax would be the one you’d want to pay attention to the most.

If you don’t know who Dave Bautista is, he was a former WWE star. He was a pro wrestler for most of his life now and he finally wants to move on from pro wrestling and try to start an acting career. His acting career is already taking off. His first major role was in the film, “The Man With the Iron Fist” and then he got landed a role in “Riddick”. Then here comes an even bigger role for Dave in, “Guardians of the Galaxy”. Dave was real enjoyable in “Guardians”. You’d probably enjoy him too even if you’re not a wrestling fan.

After this movie, I noticed he got signed a role in 007 “Spectre” and he’s gonna star in the “Kickboxer” remake. So yeah, after his role of Drax in “Guardians” Dave is gonna be a huge movie star in his future. I don’t think he’ll ever be back in WWE which is good for him.

Could Dave’s new movie career be just as big as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? I think it will happen for Dave. I thought Dave’s acting in “Guardians” was great. I’m looking forward to seeing him in “007: Spectre” as well.

I think Dave should have a role in “Expendables 4” ’cause that would be a cool addition. As you can see Dave is a pretty huge dude so he’s probably gonna star in a lot of action movies.

A lot of pro wrestlers have started movie careers over the years… everyone from Andre The Giant, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, The Rock, etc. The list goes on but most of them haven’t starred in that many blockbuster movies with the exception of Dwayne Johnson obviously. I think Dave is gonna be bigger than all of them.

Even if you’re not into superhero flicks that much, you should still check out, “Guardians of the Galaxy”. It was a real superhero story that actually had a plot and a good one too. I’m looking forward to the sequel already and yes, I too think there should be an “Avengers and Guardians” cross-over film. Check out, “Guardians”, you won’t be disappointed at all. Very enjoyable flick, I liked it a lot.

Film Review: “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”…

Starring: Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford

Directed by: Anthony and Joe Russo

Today, I decided to go to the mall to check out a movie just to get out of the house and do something. I have been wanting to see “Captain America: Winter Soldier” film for a long while which this is the second Captain America movie by Marvel. Here is my review…

Plot/synopsis: For Steve Rogers, awakening after decades of suspended animation involves more than catching up on pop culture; it also means that this old school idealist must face a world of subtler threats and difficult moral complexities. That comes clear when Director Nick Fury is killed by the mysterious assassin, the Winter Soldier, but not before warning Rogers that SHIELD has been subverted by its enemies. When Rogers acts on Fury’s warning to trust no one there, he is branded as a traitor by the organization. Now a fugitive, Captain America must get to the bottom of this deadly mystery with the help of the Black Widow and his new friend, The Falcon. However, the battle will be costly for the Sentinel of Liberty, with Rogers finding enemies where he least expects them while learning that the Winter Soldier looks disturbingly familiar.

I like Captain America. He has always been one of my favorite superheroes. Probably because he’s one of the very few superheroes who never hid his identity like most superheroes do. However, this movie here doesn’t really leave off from the first Captain America film. This film actually takes place after the events of the first “Avengers” movie.

Getting right to it, I was very surprised on how great “Captain America: Winter Soldier” really is. I think it’s pretty much the best superhero movie of the year so far. The film is very politically driven, though. It focuses on current politics of what’s going on in the USA today. It covers government corruption, government spying, drones, etc. It also focuses on the fight for American freedom. I wanted to see this movie ’cause the movie reviews were saying this was a pretty conservative movie and it was; however, this film had a lot of liberal politics in it too so I guess there’s something for both parties if you’re into politics.

On with the film, I was pretty impressed with the story and plot. The movie actually had a “plot”!!! It’s not just an action movie and a popcorn flick, it definitely had a story to tell which most superhero films are missing these days.

The action scenes were a lot of fun and a total surprise to watch as well. It was nice to finally see Sam L. Jackson get into action scenes ’cause you don’t see him in action scenes that much. I don’t want to reveal spoilers on what he does but Sam does get into violence. Even Robert Redford got into a little bit of action. Speaking of Robert Redford, he has been one of my favorite actors for years and he killed it in this movie like he usually does. It was nice to see Sam and Robert in the same movie together. Two Hollywood legends!!! Acting was really good all-around by the cast. Chris, Scarlett and everyone else was cool.

The Winter Soldier villain was a badass villain too. He was pretty dark and scary looking which you don’t see much in superhero movies.

I thought “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” was a phenomenal film. Definitely check it out!

Two thumbs up!

Film Review: “Thor: The Dark World”

Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins

Directed by:  Alan Taylor

Today, I decided to check out “Thor: The Dark World” and here is my review…

Plot/synopsis: The plot to this movie is pretty simple and straightforward. Just continues from the first “Thor” film about saving Earth from evil beings. This time there are evil beings known as the Dark Elves who wants to send the universe into Darkness by using a weapon called the Aether. Thor reunites with Jane Foster so she can help destroy the Aether but instead the Aether takes over her body. The Dark Elves wants Jane ’cause she has the Aether inside of her body. Later, Thor teams up with his evil brother, Loki so they can help destroy the Aether and they can help save the 9 realms of Asgard (which Earth being one of them).

I’m not too big on Marvel superheros. There are only very few Marvel superheros that I am big fans of. The only Marvel superheros that I am big fans of are the Wolverine, The Punisher, Iron Man, Captain American, Hulk and of course, Thor.

I enjoyed, “Thor: The Dark World”. It’s just a fun and exciting movie just like the first one was. Just your typical popcorn-action film with impressive visuals and effects. The story was entertaining and watchable but the ending was too predictable, though. I like the action scenes in this movie. There are more action scenes in this movie than the last one. The entire cast did a good job like usual but Tom Hiddleston steals the show here. Hiddleston as Loki is badass. I am noticing that the Thor movies wants to mix action and comedy together. There are a lot of humor throughout these movies.

“Thor: The Dark World” was pretty good. Nothing mind blowing or amazing but just entertaining. I know this review is a short one ’cause there isn’t a lot of things to be said about it. It is recommended to check out if you’re a fan of Marvel or superhero films.

I’ll give it a two thumbs up.

Report: Tom Hiddleston confirms Loki will NOT be in “Avengers 2” but WILL be in “Thor 2″…

Rumors been going strong for a long while now that Loki is not going to be in the sequel for “The Avengers” but Tom Hiddleston the man who plays Loki just confirmed he’s not going to be in it. Why is Loki not going to be in the “Avengers 2”? Well, Tom says they can’t think of anything else they can do with the character and they want to give other villains a chance which makes a lot of sense.

Tom Hiddleston has grown a large fanbase since the first “Avengers” movie but his fanbase is mostly women. Apparently, young women have the hots for this character and they were dying for their Loki to be in the “Avengers 2”. I find it pretty odd that people would go crazy over Loki for “The Avengers” when he was already in the first “Thor” movie. Loki is a pretty cool villain and Mr. Hiddleston is a good actor. While it may be disappointing that he won’t be in the “Avengers 2”, Tom says Loki won’t be going away anytime soon ’cause he’s still going to be in “Thor 2”. So if you ladies out there need your Loki fix, “Thor 2” is the way to go.

More on the story, here.

You gotta love Tom’s response about Loki not being in the Avengers movie. He sounded so down to earth and humble about it, too! In his response, you can tell he was very careful not to upset fans and tries to get people excited for “Thor 2” instead. Most actors are very rude when they respond about not reprising their roles but Tom was pretty cool about it. He seems like a pretty cool dude!

Maybe Loki can even get his own spin-off movie someday? I wouldn’t be surprised if he does get one! Tom is extremely popular because of the Avengers movie. In fact, I never even heard of this actor myself until he landed the role for the first “Thor” film. Loki is a pretty likeable villain.

In the photo above is Tom Hiddleston in full Loki costume at San Diego Comic Con that happened earlier this summer.

Cool Video: “The Wolverine” teaser hits the internets…

“The Wolverine” teaser, finally hits the internets today but it’s not what you think. It’s a very tiny teaser, about 16 seconds. I would think every teaser they put out, they would show little bit more at a time, until the official trailer release. From what I’ve seen, though, looks badass, and looks to be action packed. As you can see, the new “Wolverine” movie, is taken place in Japan. I love the Wolverine character. In my opinion, he has always been the best Marvel superhero. I do like the Wolverine in the X-Men, but I’ve always liked him solo, when he’s alone. He’s better that way. More intense. When I was a kid, I used to read a lot of Wolverine comics. Hopefully this film will be better than the piece of shit, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” ’cause that film was really bad. Looking forward to seeing more of the new film!

Report: Dave Batista lands huge movie role, he is Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”…

Look like former WWE star Dave Batista won’t be returning to the WWE anytime soon ’cause the man is heavily focused on MMA and acting in film. Dave’s film career is already taking off. He already had a role in “The Man With the Iron Fists”, and Dave just completed “Riddick 3”, with Vin Diesel. Now Dave has a huge role in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”, and he will be playing Drax the Desroyer. There were a couple of other guys who auditioned for the role, such as Jason Momoa and a few others, but it seems that Marvel was most impressed with Dave, so he got it.

More on the story, here.

The Rock should take note,’cause look like we have another big former wrestler starring in some big movies. If they can get Dave in “Expendables 3”, that would be pretty cool too!

Dave has always been my favorite performer in wrestling too. He is a good actor. He didn’t get these acting jobs in movies for nothing ’cause the wrestling helped him get the acting talent. That’s how all wrestlers get into movies ’cause wrestling is acting.
