“Star Trek” Hollywood premiere photos here…

Just found Star Trek “Hollywood” premiere photos. The entire cast was there in person, even the film crew.

The only cast from the past “Star Trek” movies were there were George Takei, Rod Roddenberry, Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker), and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) were also there. That was it.

William Shatner and Patrick Stewart were no where to be seen and you figure they would be there? Huh.

Jonathan Frakes is looking great though, it’s nice to finally see him out of hiding after all these years. Look like Commander Riker and Counselor Troi are dating each other in real life, look at the picture of them below, holding hands as if they are a couple.

That’s cool, they all got to watch the “Star Trek” movie outside. I would have loved to been there myself. I’ll never forget the day I visited, “The Star Trek Exhibition” museum in San Diego. That was great.

Cool Video: “Star Trek” premieres in Austin, Texas with film introduced by Leonard Nimoy!!!

JJ Abrams “Star Trek” may have premiered in Sydney, Australia, but Leonard Nimoy, the original Spock, already brought the film to Austin, Texas, before they did!!! How cool is that!!!

In Austin, Texas, at the Alamo Drafthouse, it was advertised that they were going to show the film “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” in it’s entirety with 10 minutes of Abrams “Star Trek” before it.

In these videos, three men introducing “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan”…as the movie starts, the movie stopped somewhere during the film, making it look like it had technical problems. Then all of a sudden Leonard Nimoy, the man himself walks on stage and giving the audience a huge surprise, that they are going to show the new “Star Trek” movie in it’s entirety instead.

Man, if I was there attending that event, I would have been floored. Watch these videos for this amazing moment. Oh my!

Report: “Star Trek” sequel already greenlighted by Paramount…

Even if J.J. Abrams “Star Trek” didn’t even come out yet, Paramount already greenlighted the sequel. J. J. Abrams Bad Robot is on board for producing again, but there is no official word if J.J. will return to direct the sequel. There are three different writers hired for the sequel.

The writers are not doing anything with the script at this point, because they are waiting to see an audience reaction to this “Star Trek” film when it hits theaters May 8th. So the writers basically, have no plans for a storyline right at this moment.

I bet the sequel will be entirely focused on the young cast just like the upcoming film.

Now this will make William Shatner feel better because since he didn’t make this movie for a role, maybe, they will bring the adult Captain Kirk back to the sequel? I think the Shat got their attention that he wants back in the new movies, and he may get his chance next time around.

Report: The Next Generation cast not in J.J. Abrams, “Star Trek”…

For those wondering if any of the “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, cast will appear in cameos in J.J. Abrams upcoming new “Star Trek” film, don’t get your hopes up. It’s not going to happen. You will not see Picard, Riker, Data, Geordi, Dr. Crusher, Worf, or Deanna Troi in the new film at all. The closest you’ll ever see them participate in the new “Star Trek” film, is read the prequel countdown comics, they are in there.

The only Trek cast member from the past that WILL have a role in the new “Star Trek” film is of course, no one other than Leonard Nimoy as the adult Spock. The old Spock is not just a cameo in the new film, J.J. said he’s in pretty much throughout the entire film.

Will “The Next Generation” cast ever have a new Star Trek film in the future? It’s very unlikely ’cause the actors in the cast has moved on to new careers. I don’t see them going back to Star Trek anytime soon. I’m sure “The Next Generation” cast will probably be at J.J. Abrams “Star Trek” premiere to see the film there.

Report: JJ Abrams “Star Trek” is finally completed and ready to go!!!

JJ Abrams has finally completed, “Star Trek”. It’s all ready to go, ready to be released, and ready to be marketed!!! JJ actually completed all the scenes for the film around Christmas time. The final step was the sound editing which were done by Oscar winner Ben Burtt.

Now expect JJ himself and the cast members to start promoting the film everywhere in the media. Yes, you will probably start seeing Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine, Eric Bana, etc. appearing on late night talk shows such as Jay Leno, Conan, Carson Daly, Letterman, etc. to plug in the film.

With the recent death of Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, that’ll help grow some interest of non-Star Trek fans to help celebrate her work with Star Trek to see what she’s all about.

Read more about the production of “Star Trek” here:

Glad JJ finally finished the film. He’s been working on it for at least a year, I think? May 8th is about 4 months away. Just around the corner. I’m sure the movie will be a smash hit and will be the most successful “Star Trek” film ever.

Even if you’re not a “Star Trek” fan, you should really see this new film and it may want you to get into “Star Trek” more. I’m dyin’ to see this flick, ’cause I want to see Eric Bana as Nero the villain, that villain looks so freakin’ badass. Plus the entire film overall, looks so great. Can’t wait to see this movie!!!

Majel Barrett-Roddenberry memorial service photos…

Here are photos of the memorial service of Majel Barrett-Roddenberry (photos courtesy of trekmovie.com)…

A large photo and flowers of Majel…

Majel’s memorial is seen here…

Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi from the Next Generation) chats it up with George Takei (Sulu), the old man in the middle is the Paramount executive, A.C. Lyles.

Nichelle Nichols and Walter Koenig chats it up with “Deep Space Nine” star Chase Masterson, look like Chekov is enjoying himself a piece of cake or something.

Star Trek writer Rick Berman chatting it up with Brent Spiner (Data from The Next Generation)…

Will Wheaton (Wesley Crusher from The Next Generation) and his wife chatting it up with Roddenberry.com site admin, Trevor Roth.

Nichelle Nichols the original Uhura first showing up at the memorial service, notice her face, she looks very sad…

Star Trek “Voyager’s” Robert Picardo (he played the doctor in “Voyager”) posing for the camera.

Again, no sign of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy being at the funeral. JJ Abrams himself didn’t even attend. If there’s more memorial service pics I’ll post ’em.

Enjoy.
