“The Expendables”, blog posted exclusive behind the scenes footage. It shows Sly hard at work directing the cast while he’s acting and you can see how he does it. They also showed the explosion scene with Eric Roberts and Stone Cold flying in the air with a plane flying over head.
This movie is looking amazing. This movie is looking like to be quite an intense action movie ride!

For many years now, Sylvester Stallone has been talking about writing/directing an Edgar Allen Poe biopic film simply titled, “Poe”. Stallone is not going to star in it, he’s just writing/directing. Could Stallone’s “Poe” be next after, “The Expendables”? That’s what Robert Downey Jr.’s saying.
Robert doesn’t say whether or not he’s playing Edgar Allen Poe, but all he’s said was he read the script, so sounds like Sly finalized the script for “Poe”.

I hope, “Poe” will be Sly’s next movie after, “The Expendables”. If Sly does “Poe” next, it has potential to be Oscar worthy. I can see Robert playing Edgar Allen Poe and it could be great acting if he’s casted. It be nice to see Sly back in the Oscars, and “Poe” could be a perfect opportunity for an Oscar nod for Best Director/Best Picture if Sly makes the film right which I’m sure he will.

So you think UFC legend Randy Couture is retired from fighting after losing his title to Brock Lesnar and back to acting in Hollywood film for Sly Stallone’s next movie, “The Expendables”? Think again. Randy Couture is not yet retired from UFC for good.
It’ll be Randy Couture vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira for UFC 102 on Aug. 29th in Portland, Ore. Both men who have casting roles for Stallone’s, “Expendables”.
In this article, Randy speaks his experience filming in Brazil, he says he was tired and burnt out. He said shooting went great and he had a good time. How do you like that UFC fans? Two actors in the same ring together to fight each other for real and not in a Hollywood movie!
I think I’ll definitely be watching UFC 102 when it comes up.

According to the Expendables blog, they just reported that the cast and crew, packed it up and left on the airplane. They finished with the Brazillian scenes already.

The blog also said that the cast and crew will take a few weeks hiatus, then they will film some more in New Orleans in the United States so Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Charisma Carpenter, etc. can film their scenes.
And after the scenes in New Orleans, they go to Cali to film Arny’s cameo.
I’m sure we’ll get some pics surfacing the net of the cast at the Brazillian airport sooner or later.

I think Gary Daniels, Eric Roberts, Stone Cold, and David Zayas are the badguys of this film. Check out the pics below…oh my… check out the two soldiers wearing face paint. Fuckin’ cool! I think the two soldiers with the face paint are the two MMA fighters Sly hired for the film.

Did Sly change his mind about, “The Expendables” being a family friendly Pg-13 movie like he once said, and he may actually make it, R rated? It seems to be heading that way, because Terry Crews hints that this movie may actually be a blood fest just like “Rambo” was.

“The Expendables” Twitter page just announced that Jet Li finally arrived in Rio today in Brazil. The Twitter page also said, “is that a can of whup ass I just heard opening?” Keep in mind that catchphrase, “Can of whoop ass” is a comment that Stone Cold used to say in WWE. So it sounds like Jet Li may have a big fight scene with Stone Cold in the movie as well.
I’ll be on the lookout for pics of Jet Li in Brazil this weekend. They’ll be surfacing the web at some point.

Dolph won’t be filming scenes in Brazil. He’s only scripted to film scenes in New Orleans, that’s what the Expendables blog said.
