Paul Reubens as Pee Wee on Jay Leno tonight…

I just saw Pee Wee Herman on Jay Leno. Yes, Paul Reubens is still Pee Wee. Paul as Pee Wee is looking much older of course, but Pee Wee still has the same speaking voice and that same laugh. Paul still has it, he did a good job playing Pee Wee again. I was actually entertained by this and had a smile on my face watching him on Jay Leno.

If Pee Wee’s return is a huge success, maybe the character will come back to the big screen for a new Pee Wee film, hopefully?

That be sweet if Tim Burton and Paul Reubens reunited, I was never afraid to admit that I absolutely loved, “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure”, it’s actually a great film.

Report: Chris Sligh, an American Idol loser, writes really good blog to fellow Idols about music industry…

This guy, Chris Sligh, a former Idol, wrote the most intelligent blog about the music industry I’ve ever seen. I totally agree with him on everything, 100%.

Read his blog here:

http://frommymindtoyoureyes.blogspot.com/2009/09/to-idols-realistic-look-at-your-career.html

He’s just giving the Idols a reality check about them thinking they will be a star. Pretty intelligent writing.

I don’t play music ’cause I want fame and fortune, I just play music as a hobby and something I have as a passion. I just play guitar and sing songs just for the love of it, nothing more.

In local music, sorry to say but it’s true, even local musicians would have to get out of their delusions and face reality as well. Most musicians around the Capital District are doing it like if this was a popularity contest, most musicians around this area are obsessed with trying to be established and well known. Not worrying about local fame too much, and concentrating on your music mostly is what’s most important, the way I look at it.

There are too many bands and artists that are obsessed with doing radio interviews, articles with newspapers, etc. That stuff is nice but I never worried about any of that. I just cared about playing my guitar and singing.

Report: Anna Nicole Smith, pharmaceutical suicide…

Anna Nicole Smith news has been pretty quiet for a long while, it just started back up again, when it was discovered that doctors gave her a long list of drugs.

You can find the news story on TMZ and all over the web.

Me thinks, Howard K. Stern is guilty of this.

If you want to become rich and famous, and become an icon…you’ll have to be careful with it, if you don’t, you’ll wind up like Anna Nicole, Michael Jackson, you get the deal. Fame is a disaster. Be careful of what you dream of.

Thought: Wouldn’t it be cool if Mayweather Jr. duked it out with Dana White in a boxing ring?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Dana White has been feuding with each other for the past couple of years. I think it’s Dana’s way of trying to talk Floyd into signing with the UFC. Floyd claims he would never sign with the UFC, he prefers to stay in boxing, but I think Floyd could possibly sign with UFC.

If not UFC, I personally would love to see Floyd get in a boxing ring with Dana White. They should settle things in a boxing ring, not back and forth in the media.

Dana’s a pretty well built guy. Although he has never competed in the Octagon himself at UFC, I’m sure he knows some martial arts and boxing skills. It should be Floyd vs. Dana in a ppv fight. I’d tune in if it happens.

On a serious note, I’m sick of seeing Floyd Mayweather Jr. still being undefeated like everyone else. Everytime Floyd has another HBO boxing ppv match, I’ll probably watch ’cause you’ll never know when he’ll lose and i want to witness him losing.

I haven’t watched boxing in many years, used to watch the sport all the time when I was a kid. Watching boxing over the weekend again, it reminded me how cool it was. Boxing is still kind of cool and fun to watch, the sport is no longer popular as it used to be.

Report: Patrick Swayze was first choice to play a zombie in “Zombieland”…

Can you picture Patrick Swayze in a horror film? I don’t think he has ever done a horror film at all in his career. Well, Patrick had a small role in the film”Donnie Darko” but it wasn’t really a horror film, kind of a mix with sci fi.

The new zombie film, “Zombieland” which hits theaters Oct. 2nd, their original choice to star in the film for a small cameo was Patrick Swayze as himself as a zombie. Patrick had to say no to it, this was of course way before Patrick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Also asked for the film were Sly Stallone, Kevin Bacon, Joe Pesci, Dwayne Johnson, etc. but they all said no as well.

It is rumoured that Bill Murray said “yes” for a cameo as himself as a zombie.

Thought: “Ghostbusters – The Video Game” is mind blowing!!

So I’ve started playing, “Ghostbusters – The Video Game” the last couple of days and I’m already becoming hooked to it. The game is pretty amazing so far. The graphics are excellent. The sound is like really impressive on your home theater. The game is also surprisingly very challenging and difficult even if it’s being played in the “profesional” level and I thought the game would be too easy, but it’s not.

It’s great to hear the original voices of Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson doing the voice overs. Listening to those guys in the game, it sounds like they are having a blast playing those characters again and this game shows that they are having fun.

This game is really cool. “Ghostbusters the Video Game” is much like the first movie pretty much.

Thanks to Atari for giving it to us finally! This game rules!

Thought: About Kanye West losing his Mom…

When discussing the Kanye West MTV controversy on the internet with other people, and when I bring up this, “Kanye West hasn’t been the same person since he lost his Mom”…. some people will respond back… “So what, my mother died, he has no right to be an asshole”.

While that’s true that everybody loses a parent here and there (we’re all gonna go someday)… you try to make it sound like that people find a way to move forward quickly and to get over a death in the family…but not everybody. You see, every human being is different. Every human being has different emotions and feelings.

Not everybody moves on from a death in the family so quickly. You may think you can, but the other person who lost a parent may not think so.

John Travolta still hasn’t gotten over the death of his son, Jett, he is still hurting and sad over it, perfect example. The recent pictures of John proved it.

Liam Neeson may have moved forward and still working on film since the death of his wife, Natasha, but somewhere in his private times at home, I’m sure he’s still hurting over her.

When Kanye appeared on Jay Leno and Jay asked him about his Mom, that is good enough proof that Kanye still hasn’t gotten over his Mom yet. When Kanye went out and apologized about MTV thing like three times, do you think that he was still thinking about his Mom when he was doing that?

You have a death in the family, somebody so close to you, things become different and things change in life. Don’t go around thinking, “I can move on from it”, ’cause I think that’s a lie.

I think Kanye’s personal problems in the media lately has nothing to do with him not taking any time off, I think he’s still thinking about Donda, clearly.

I can’t blame Kanye for going crazy in the media lately, so I still respect the guy. I’m not a shrink or a family expert or nothing like that, but people who lose a loved one, deserved the respect. I think it’s the haters that have no compassion for Donda at all whatsoever. Kanye is fine, he did nothing wrong. Give the poor man respect while he’s going through some difficult times.

Report: Mayweather vs. Marquez last night was good, but was rooting for Marquez to win…

I watched the “Marquez vs. Mayweather Jr.” fight last night. It was a good fight. Mayweather still has his skills even if he took a two year break. Mayweather won and he is still undefeated.

Read about the fight here:

http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=ap-mayweather-marquez&prov=ap&type=lgns

Mayweather Jr. is a punk, an egomaniac and a spoiled little rich kid. One day a fighter is going to come around to end his undefeated streak. Mayweather is thinking about retiring soon? Well, Floyd don’t have to worry about that, ’cause one day a fighter will make him retire and he will end his rich lifestyle.

I was hoping Marquez was going to win. As you can see in the scoring, Marquez was “that” close to winning but that one knock down in the second round, Marquez was done.

I’m looking forward to seeing Mayweather lose one day.
