Report: Superman goes political and hates America, “I’m renouncing my U.S. citizenship”…

“Superman” is in the news again but this time in comic book form. Instead of celebrating the #900 issue of “Superman – Action Comics”, DC has decided to pull off some controversy with Superman by having him renounce his US citizenship. He hates America now, he’s done. Superman will renounce his citizenship at the United Nations but he will continue to fight crime globally but not in the United States.

Read more on the story, here.

Interesting! I love this idea! Most Superman stories were strictly taken place in Metropolis and other areas in the United States. Look like the rest of the “Superman – Action” comics will focus on Superman saving people around the world. Superman will save people in the U.K., Russia, Africa, China, Japan, Mexico, etc.??? He’s going to completely ignore the United States no matter how much danger our country is in?

I’m going to have to buy this issue. There is a comic book store at my local mall. I’ll have to see if they have it. If not, I’ll order it online.

Report: Arnold Schwarzenegger will try some serious “acting” before getting into “action”…

Yes, Arnold is officially back with the Terminator but don’t expect him to get back into action movies this soon. The Governator is set to star in a drama film called, “Cry Macho” which will be directed by “The Lincoln Lawyer”, director Brad Furman. The filming for “Cry Macho” will begin as soon as possible later this summer.

Arnold wants to find out if he has serious acting chops after all the silly popcorn action flicks he has done for so many years. “Cry Macho” is a novel adapted from N. Richard Nash. The plot/synopsis from this article, “He will play a damaged-goods horse trainer who’s just been ignominiously put out to pasture by his feckless boss. In exchange for some retirement money, the broken — and broke — horseman agrees to kidnap the boss’s 11-year-old son from his rich Mexican ex-wife. Things take an unexpected turn, however, when the ex-wife is all too glad to be rid of her juvenile delinquent.”

Arnold is signing on to projects like crazy. First announced was the Marvel project with Stan Lee for “The Governator” cartoon series & comic, then he announces action thriller “The Last Stand”, earlier this week he’s officially in for the next “Terminator”, and now this.

I’m glad Arnie is getting away from politics and getting back where he belongs, in the movies. As for “Cry Macho”, I wonder if he’s going to try to get an Oscar nod for this movie. Arnold’s never done a serious drama film in his life. They’ve all been action flicks. Sure, Arnold has done a few other genres. He’s done a few comedies like “Kindergarten Cop”, “Junior”, “Twins”, and he’s done a few thrillers like “End of Days” & “Collateral Damage”. He’s even done some sci fi films like “Total Recall” and “The 6th Day”.

Do you think people would care to see him in a drama? We’ll wait and see how the box office does with, “Cry Macho”. I don’t think Arnie will get an Oscar nod for that film. I can’t blame him for trying something different for once.

More on President Barack Obama’s citizenship…

Here is a couple of youtube videos proving that the Obama birth certificate released yesterday are photoshopped. I know a lot of people online actually believe this birth certificate is real, but I don’t buy it for a second. You can’t believe and trust everything you see that is thrown out there. Especially from the White House.

It could be possible that Barack is an adopted child that was sent away from Kenya to Hawaii. Yes, Barack does have a white mother, Ann Dunham, but is she really his biological, Mom? I don’t think so. It’s possible she could be his adopted mother.

Barack knows he’s about to be exposed, as an illegal immigrant. Barack knows people are after him and he should be afraid, because once he’s exposed as an immigrant, an impeachment of his presidency should be coming to him very quickly.

Watch these videos and you be the judge. This is not his actual birth certificate. I’m sure his real birth certificate is locked away in a safe place.

Check out the Knyghts of Fuzz and Sandy McKnight Fiasco here…

The two bands I will be opening for at Savannah’s in a few weeks, you can check them out and listen to them yourself at their Reverb Nation pages.

Check out Knyghts of Fuzz and the Sandy McKnight Fiasco.

Both of those bands actually sound very good. I’m looking forward to seeing them and meeting them after my set. It’s going to be a great night of rock n’ roll.

Glad to be back to where I belong.

I would love to release my debut album with an actual CD cover and all, it’ll happen sometime. I want an album to happen. It’s just very expensive to make a professional studio album to sell at local shows.

This is one of the reasons I got into fitness for…

I got into fitness hoping to be in better shape for the performing stage when playing gigs. To look good when performing. Now that I’m in decent shape, I won’t hide my physique by wearing long sleeved shirts on the stage. I can tell you that. I’m probably going to be wearing more sleeveless shirts and wife beaters at my gigs a lot. In my past gigs, I used to wear fancy clothing. I used to wear all black on stage like Johnny Cash, you’ve seen all my past gig pictures. There will be a change of fashion this time around. My plan is to look like a rock n’ roll bad ass and not look like some country/folk singer. The Johnny Cash like image is long gone. Maybe my transformation will help draw more women to the audience at my gigs, who knows.

One thing to keep in mind though, being muscular for my music is not an ego trip, you see. I just wanted to look better when playing guitar. That is all.

Even though my two upcoming gigs, are bar rooms, I’m not going to drink. I don’t drink alcohol anymore, but I can still have fun and party though. I’ll still have fun meeting new people and enjoying the live music of other bands. I can’t drink because of my fitness. I know a lot of people drink alcohol while bodybuilding, but not me. You don’t need to drink to have a good time.

Not a Cool Video: “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” trailer hits the web today…

As expected, the third Transformers movie, “Dark of the Moon” looks like a piece of trash. Looks worse than the last one. Nothing but a big special effects movie. The only reason this trailer dropped early is so they can compete with the Harry Potter trailer. I usually disagree with re-boot films myself, but this franchise needs to be re-booted. This calls for a re-boot. It needs to be done better by a better director ’cause Michael Bay is a hack, he sucks. Such a damn shame ’cause I loved Transformers ever since I was a child and they ruined the legendary action figures ’cause of these crappy movies. I’m waiting for DVD on this new Transformers flick. Check it out, here.

New gig announcement: Savannah’s “Ralph Renna’s Capital Underground”, opening for Knyghts of Fuzz and Sandy McKnight Fiasco!!!

Well, what do you know? I was just asked another gig today and out of no where, Ralph Renna asked me to be on his “Capital Underground” series at Savannah’s. I’ll be opening for two bands that night. Knyghts of Fuzz and Sandy McKnight Fiasco! This show is updated in the “Brock Shows” tab in this blog.

I’m so glad to be back into booking shows again! I do miss performing live. I’m glad I’ll be performing Albany first, that way my Albany fans can come see me and I can make new fans as well.

I’ll be video taping all my live gigs, so you won’t miss anything.

The Top 15 Best Album cover art of all times!!!

What are my favorite album covers art of all times? I’m talking about the art of the front cover of the albums.

Here is the list below along with the pictures:

1. Twisted Sister – Stay Hungry

(I picked this album cover first because this is the best album cover art of all times. This album cover is done in the right way that makes you want to buy this album just for the cover alone. This is the reason I had this album on vinyl as a child because it was so badass. I ended up loving Twisted Sister after this too, and still love the band today)

2. Sammy Hagar – VOA

(Another one of the baddest album covers of all time. Very creative and different)

3. Led Zeppelin IV – ZOSO

(When I first got into Led Zeppelin, this was of course the first album that I bought by them because I loved the cover of the album. I immediately thought this had to be the greatest rock album of all times and it was)

4. Nirvana “In Utero”

(Nirvana had quite a few great album covers but this is my favorite one)

5. Beatles “Sgt. Peppers”

(Can’t leave this classic album cover off this list or else I could disappoint my readers if I don’t)

6. The Smashing Pumpkins “Mellie Collie & The Infinite Sadness”

(The Pumpkins are great at creating album cover art. This is the best one. I like the art on it)

7. Joe Satriani “Surfing With the Alien”

(Not many albums these days puts comic book superhero’s on the cover. Joe actually had the guts to put the Silver Surfer on the cover of this amazing shred album)

8. Blind Melon – self titled

(This is one of my favorite album covers in the 90’s. It’s different and creative)

9. Dire Straits “Money For Nothing”

(The cover of this album is so badass it makes you want to buy this album for the cool cover alone itself. I miss the old days when Mark Knopfler was at top of the game)

10. Bjork “Vespertine”

(This is a beautiful album cover, Bjork in her swan dress and creative photoshop work with a ghostly like swan appearing over her. When you look at this album cover, it is telling you that this is going to be an amazing album that will give you goosebumps and it did)

11. Katy Perry “Teenage Dream”

(There’s been a lot of sexy album covers over the years, but this is the sexiest I’ve ever seen. What is the message she’s trying to say on that cover? It’s all “candy” the way it looks. What she’s laying on, is not clouds, it looks to me cotton candy. In the “Teenage Dream” title, looks to be candy canes. In the “Katy Perry” name looks to be licorice or twizzlers or something. It’s a very creative album cover that’s telling you that Katy Perry is good “eye candy”. That’s the message it’s saying, I think)

12. Alice In Chains “Dirt”

(AIC are great at making album covers but this is their best one, I think)

13. U2 “All That You Can’t Leave Behind”

(You gotta give credit for these Irish rockers, taking a pic of themselves in an airport terminal. U2 made a lot of great album covers, but this one stands out the most, I think. They’re telling you something that you just can’t figure it out)

14. Coverdale/Page

(This is one of the best rock album covers of all time, in my opinion. Jimmy Page really knows how to make his album covers)

15. The Clash “London Calling”

(A killer album with a killer album cover)

I’m sure there’s more, but those are my favorite.

———————————————————————————-

We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011,
certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account
information was compromised in connection with an illegal and
unauthorized intrusion into our network. In response to this
intrusion, we have:

1) Temporarily turned off PlayStation Network and Qriocity services;

2) Engaged an outside, recognized security firm to conduct a full
and complete investigation into what happened; and

3) Quickly taken steps to enhance security and strengthen our
network infrastructure by rebuilding our system to provide you
with greater protection of your personal information.

We greatly appreciate your patience, understanding and goodwill
as we do whatever it takes to resolve these issues as quickly and
efficiently as practicable.

Although we are still investigating the details of this incident,
we believe that an unauthorized person has obtained the following
information that you provided: name, address (city, state, zip), country,
email address, birthdate, PlayStation Network/Qriocity password and login,
and handle/PSN online ID. It is also possible that your profile data,
including purchase history and billing address (city, state, zip),
and your PlayStation Network/Qriocity password security answers may
have been obtained. If you have authorized a sub-account for your
dependent, the same data with respect to your dependent may have
been obtained. While there is no evidence at this time that credit
card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have
provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity,
out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit
card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have
been obtained.

For your security, we encourage you to be especially aware of email,
telephone and postal mail scams that ask for personal or sensitive
information. Sony will not contact you in any way, including by email,
asking for your credit card number, social security number or other
personally identifiable information. If you are asked for this information,
you can be confident Sony is not the entity asking. When the PlayStation
Network and Qriocity services are fully restored, we strongly recommend that
you log on and change your password. Additionally, if you use your PlayStation
Network or Qriocity user name or password for other unrelated services or
accounts, we strongly recommend that you change them as well.

To protect against possible identity theft or other financial loss, we
encourage you to remain vigilant, to review your account statements and
to monitor your credit reports. We are providing the following information
for those who wish to consider it:
– U.S. residents are entitled under U.S. law to one free credit report annually
from each of the three major credit bureaus. To order your free credit report,
visit www.annualcreditreport.com or call toll-free (877) 322-8228.

– We have also provided names and contact information for the three major U.S.
credit bureaus below.  At no charge, U.S. residents can have these credit bureaus
place a “fraud alert” on your file that alerts creditors to take additional steps
to verify your identity prior to granting credit in your name. This service can
make it more difficult for someone to get credit in your name. Note, however,
that because it tells creditors to follow certain procedures to protect you,
it also may delay your ability to obtain credit while the agency verifies your
identity.  As soon as one credit bureau confirms your fraud alert, the others
are notified to place fraud alerts on your file. Should you wish to place a
fraud alert, or should you have any questions regarding your credit report,
please contact any one of the agencies listed below:

Experian: 888-397-3742; www.experian.com; P.O. Box 9532, Allen, TX 75013
Equifax: 800-525-6285; www.equifax.com; P.O. Box 740241, Atlanta, GA 30374-0241

incident, and we regret any inconvenience. Our teams are working around the
clock on this, and services will be restored as soon as possible. Sony takes

additional measures are taken to protect personally identifiable information.
