Report: Sylvester Stallone to get his “Cobra” car back!!! Congrats Sly!!!

In the 1980’s, “Cobra” was filmed. It was that car that made the film great for what it was. “Cobra” was one of my favorite action films by Sly. It didn’t do well in the box office, but still was an excellent action movie. Marion Cobretti was a different character than Rambo. Cobretti was more psychotic and dangerous than Rambo, in my opinion.

Sly kept the car after the movie was made. In 1994, the car was stolen straight out of his garage. Sly didn’t know the whereabouts of that car until in 2009, the car finally resurfaced at an auction by this un-named company that provides “on-camera vehicles for movies”.

Sly filed a lawsuit at this company for stealing this car. The lawsuit was settled and this company agreed to give the car back to it’s rightful owner.

Read the report here, at TMZ.

Congratulations Sly!!! I can’t wait to see new pics of Sly reunited with the car! I bet Sly will keep the car locked up good to keep it away from thieves.

Now that he has the car back, is a “Cobra II” going to be in the works soon? Hopefully. I always liked that character and it will be great if Sly plans a sequel, using that same car.

Cool Photo: New Harry Potter and “The Deathly Hollows part 2” poster is out!

Isn’t that friggin badass? I love it! That is one of the best movie posters I’ve seen in a while! I would love to buy that poster and hang it up in here.

Speaking of “The Deathly Hollows”, I’ve finally finished reading the book. It was amazing, so this movie is going to be amazing as well. I will write more about the book later.

Harry Potter is great but the books are better than the movies, of course.

Report: Darren Aronofsky responds to Sarah Lane’s slanderous comments about Natalie Portman’s dancing for “Black Swan”…

Well, Darren Aronofsky, the director of “Black Swan” himself, finally responds to the Sarah Lane vs. Natalie Portman feud that started this week. To prove that Sarah is a liar, Darren actually ordered his editor for the film to count all the dances that both Sarah and Natalie did. The editor actually went through the entire film and counted every dance, to make sure everything was exactly right. There is a total of a 139 dances, but how much did Sarah and Natalie get? Score: Natalie – 111 Sarah – 28.

Read Darren’s full statement, here.

Yep, I repeat, Sarah is just mad because Natalie got more recognition for her work than her. Jealousy, nothing more. Look like Sarah won’t be working with Darren Aronofsky ever again, that’s for sure. Don’t be surprised if Sarah has a big lawsuit coming from, Fox Searchlight, because she did step over the legal line here. Slandering the studios, the film makers, and Natalie Portman herself. Gotta love how karma works.

Thought: Why I believe Amy Adams was chosen as Lois Lane…

Amy Adams being picked as Lois Lane for the new “Superman” movie is getting so much mixed opinions online. Some say she’s too old for the role (she’s 36), some say she doesn’t have the look, and some say she doesn’t have the right hair color.

Now if I remember correctly, Lois Lane, did have red hair before, in the comics. I forgot about that. Keep in mind that Lois Lane’s look was inspired by Jerry Siegel’s wife, Joanne Carter, and the Lois Lane name was borrowed from a singer named, Lola Lane.

Lois was a woman, who worked at the Daily Planet as this reporter, who competed with Clark Kent as a writer. Lois was a brave woman who would do anything risky and dangerous, just to get a story. She was also obsessed with revealing Clark’s true identity. That’s her personality with the Superman franchise. She is supposed to be a tough and aggressive woman. She didn’t mess around and she was very serious.

Zack Snyder said plenty of times that this is going to be a different Superman movie. It won’t be based on any of the comics or the other movies. It’ll feel like there have been no Superman movies like he said before. That’s why Amy was picked. She’s different. People say Amy is too old for Henry Cavill? Well Margot Kidder was older than Christopher Reeve, right? YES.

Lois Lane doesn’t need to be a hot barbie doll. Zack wanted this movie to be “realistic”. Amy is a normal looking woman, that’s why she is hired. She doesn’t have to have breast implants and plastic surgery. That’s not Amy. That’s not what Lois is supposed to be. They don’t want another Margot Kidder version of Lois Lane, maybe that’s another reason why she was hired. Amy just gave her own style to the character, which I believe is what the film makers wanted.

Even if they want Lois to have brunette hair, they can change Amy’s hair color just for the movie alone. That’s what the hair stylist’s job is. Lois Lane is a very important character and she needs to be real. If you seen Amy’s acting in other movies like “Enchanted” and “The Fighter”, she makes all of her characters seem so real. Maybe that’s another reason she was hired. Plus she’s a fucking good actress and pretty hot.

I think she deserves the role and she’s going to nail it.

Report: “Black Swan” producers says Natalie Portman DID most of the dancing for the film…

Sarah Lane, who is Natalie Portman’s stunt double for the film “Black Swan”, accused Natalie of doing  only 5% of the dancing for the film. Fox Searchlight, was quick to respond back. They said Natalie DID most of her dancing for the “Black Swan” film, and Sarah only did the complicated dances that Natalie couldn’t do.

More on it, here.

Sounds like Sarah is nothing but jealous. She’s jealous of Natalie’s Oscar win, so she came out and attacked her out of jealousy rage. I’m siding with FOX and Natalie on this one.

I thought “Black Swan” was a great film. The film should be coming out on DVD/Blu Ray this Spring, and I’ll be getting it for sure.

Thought: Who will play Perry White and Jimmy Olsen? 5 possible choices for both characters…

So now we’re all wondering who will land the roles of Perry White, the Daily Planet boss and the goofy photographer, Jimmy Olsen? Perry White was played by Jackie Cooper and Jimmy Olsen was played by Marc McClure in the original, Superman series. In “Superman: Returns” Perry White was played by Frank Langella and Jimmy Olsen was played by Sam Huntington. So who will take over the roles for Zack Snyder’s, “Superman”?

Here are 5 possible choices for the two characters:

Perry White:

  • Al Pacino
  • Alec Baldwin
  • Terence Stamp
  • Robin Williams
  • Martin Sheen

Jimmy Olsen

  • Sharlto Copley
  • Bradley Cooper
  • Matthew McConaughey
  • Anton Yelchin
  • Jesse Eisenberg

That’s it. I doubt they’ll get any of them, but I be surprised if I get at least one right. Those are just an idea of who I’d like to see play those two characters. We’ll know who very soon!

BREAKING NEWS: Amy Adams is Lois Lane for Zack Snyder’s “Superman”!!!

So far the confirmed castings for Zack Snyder’s “Superman” movie are: Henry Cavill, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. Michael Shannon haven’t been confirmed yet but WB’s and Snyder are interested in him though.

Here is the next surprising casting, Amy Adams, the Disney’s “Enchanted” and “The Fighter” star is set to play Lois Lane for the new upcoming, Superman movie.Yep, this redhead beauty is set to play Superman’s sidekick and love interest.

I love Amy Adams, and I was hoping they would get her for “Superman” but not as Lois Lane though. Amy would be more fitting for Lana Lang. Lana Lang, the redhead who was Clark’s first love interest in Smallville. Oh well, I’m sure Amy can nail the Lois Lane role nicely.

Next they would have to cast someone for Perry White and Jimmy Olsen. Who would they get for them?

My pick for Perry White would be Terence Stamp. Terence played General Zod in “Superman II” but it wouldn’t hurt to put Terence in a different role for a new Superman movie right? For Jimmy Olsen, I’d say Sharlto Copley (“District 9″/’A-Team” star). It’ll be interesting to see who they’ll cast for Perry and Jimmy. Can’t wait.

Happy Birthday: Leonard Nimoy

Lets say happy birthday to another Star Trek actor. I wish Leonard wouldn’t retire from acting this soon. It’s understandable why he doesn’t want to play Spock anymore since he’s played the same character for over 20 years.

Both William Shatner and Leonard are inspirational to me. Leonard also turned 80 today. Happy Birthday to Spock! Live long and prosper!

Here is my favorite scene from “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan”.

Report: “Is the enemy of my enemy my friend, or the enemy of my friend, my enemy?” Warren Beatty wins Dick Tracy lawsuit!!!

Warren Beatty’s long legal battle with the Tribune Co. over the rights to his legendary Dick Tracy character is over. The judge has stopped the Tribune from scoring the rights to the character because the Tribune were going to make a TV show and a new movie, based on the character. The legal battle started when Warren Beatty in the Dick Tracy costume was going to do a half hour TV show with Leonard Maltin . Warren Beatty won everything and now Warren has full control of the Dick Tracy, character.

In 1990, Warren wrote, directed and starred the leading role in “Dick Tracy” which also starred Madonna, Al Pacino, and Dustin Hoffman.

Deadline, reports.

Now that Warren has the rights, what will his plans be for the character next? A TV series, re-boot film, or a sequel from the 1990 film? I’m willing to bet a remake is coming.
