Report: “JCVD” starring um, Jean Claude Van Damme to hit Toronto…

Action star, Jean Claude Van Damme’s latest movie “JVCD”, which is a film that stars Jean Claude and he plays himself in the film will launch Toronto’s Midnight Madness program. Midnight Madness is a popular film convention up in Canada. “JVCD” first made it’s premiere over in Belgium which is Jean Claude’s home country.

Jean Claude Van Damme is a legendary expert martial artist and film actor which the film “Bloodsport” made him a household name, he also starred in films like “Cyborg”, “Universal Soldier”, and more.

This is one actor I would like to see make a huge comeback to the big screen in the USA.

This man deserves a successful career as well. I hope he comes back with a blockbuster film.

Oh my! This movie is looking very promising. Most of the new Friday the 13th movies were pretty bad and looks like they will reboot this franchise.

Jason looks like an actual human in those pictures, not a monster. Very cool and can’t wait to see a teaser trailer!

Report: Bryan Singer to produce new superhero film “Capeshooters”…

Warner Bros had just acquired the rights to make “Capeshooters” adapted from the comic books, and Bryan Singer is set to produce “only”, so there is no worries of him doing this instead of the “Superman: Returns” sequel because he is still committed to Superman.

I think it’s amazing how Hollywood never runs out of ideas for comic book films. They are coming out like crazy non stop. Back in the early 80’s, and early 90’s, comic book films weren’t that popular, it was just Superman and Batman back in those days. Now they are trying to make a film based on every single superhero out there.

Report: “Rocky Horror Picture Show” remake is coming…

Lets do the warp again! Yes, that’s right. A “Rocky Horror Picture Show” remake is on the way. The original 1975 musical that starred Tim Curry is being remade by MTV. They will still use the original screenplay from the original film written by Jim Sharman and Richard O’ Brien but the remake will write different songs, not the same ones from the original.

Sounds like a bomber to me. Another pointless remake that doesn’t need an update.

Report: PETA not a fan of the “The Dark Knight” film…

A blogger from the PETA company seems to be offended at the new Batman film “The Dark Knight”. Why? Because there are scenes in the film where Batman is beating up police dogs.

Report: Will Smith named the most richest actor in the world…

While Will Smith may not look like a rich man, he truly is. Will Smith may walk around public hardily ever wearing suits or expensive tuxedos, he just wears normal and casual clothing like all of us. He never rides in expensive limos, he just drives regular cars like all of us. He’s just a normal person that he don’t have to look like a rich person, he’s just being himself like he’s always been his whole life.

Forbes compiled a list of Hollywood actors who make the most money from the movies they make, of course, it’s no surprise to me that Will Smith tops them all. Johnny Depp comes second and Eddie Murphy comes third.

Of course, Will Smith is the richest actor in the world. That is no surprise. The Big Willie style made hit after hit, pretty much all of his movies are hits. I don’t think he ever made a film that bombed once. He’s pretty smart and intelligent at choosing the right films that fits him.

While his acting in films is okay, he is an entertaining actor and that’s what he’s in it for, he’s an entertainer. I’m sure he’s still getting checks from “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”.

Report: Holy woman beater, Batman! Don’t go to jail for assault!

“The Batman” and “Terminator: Salvation” star Christian Bale was in police custody for being accused of assaulting his own mother and sister. Bale was arrested in London the day before he was supposed to attend “The Dark Knight” London premiere. Meanwhile, the actor denies physically hurting his own mother and sister. He was taken into police custody for 4 hours and was released. He was also not charged. A family member of Bale’s said it was a family matter that the actor had an argument with his mother and sister, he claims he did not hurt them.

It’s time to play the Batman theme from the TV show and the words “POW” comes up everytime Bale hit his mom and sister.

Thought: Is the “Dark Knight” Oscar worthy for Best Picture?

Yes, I know, another “The Dark Knight” post. I can not help myself. The movie is amazing. I love the movie so much, it’s a film with perfection. Everything about the movie is perfect. While everyone is wanting Heath Ledger to get Oscar nominated for “The Dark Knight”, I think the film deserves a lot more nominations.

I think the film is worthy enough for these nominations here: “The Dark Knight” for Best Picture, Christopher Nolan for Best Director, Christopher and Jonathan Nolan for Best Adapted Screenplay, Heath Ledger for Best Actor in a Leading Role (yes, The Joker is the leading villain), Gary Oldman for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Michael Caine for Best Actor in Supporting Role (two way tie), James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer for Best Musical Score, Lindy Hemming for Best Costume Design, “The Dark Knight” for Best Sound and Best Cinematography.

Notice I never listed Christian Bale for anything. His acting was good for Bruce Wayne/Batman but definitely not Oscar worthy. Not only Heath Ledger deserves to be Oscar nominated for this film, the rest of the film does too.

This could possibly be the first Oscar award winning Batman film. This movie is so amazing that I want to see it in theater again and again.
