Thought: About Kanye West losing his Mom…

When discussing the Kanye West MTV controversy on the internet with other people, and when I bring up this, “Kanye West hasn’t been the same person since he lost his Mom”…. some people will respond back… “So what, my mother died, he has no right to be an asshole”.

While that’s true that everybody loses a parent here and there (we’re all gonna go someday)… you try to make it sound like that people find a way to move forward quickly and to get over a death in the family…but not everybody. You see, every human being is different. Every human being has different emotions and feelings.

Not everybody moves on from a death in the family so quickly. You may think you can, but the other person who lost a parent may not think so.

John Travolta still hasn’t gotten over the death of his son, Jett, he is still hurting and sad over it, perfect example. The recent pictures of John proved it.

Liam Neeson may have moved forward and still working on film since the death of his wife, Natasha, but somewhere in his private times at home, I’m sure he’s still hurting over her.

When Kanye appeared on Jay Leno and Jay asked him about his Mom, that is good enough proof that Kanye still hasn’t gotten over his Mom yet. When Kanye went out and apologized about MTV thing like three times, do you think that he was still thinking about his Mom when he was doing that?

You have a death in the family, somebody so close to you, things become different and things change in life. Don’t go around thinking, “I can move on from it”, ’cause I think that’s a lie.

I think Kanye’s personal problems in the media lately has nothing to do with him not taking any time off, I think he’s still thinking about Donda, clearly.

I can’t blame Kanye for going crazy in the media lately, so I still respect the guy. I’m not a shrink or a family expert or nothing like that, but people who lose a loved one, deserved the respect. I think it’s the haters that have no compassion for Donda at all whatsoever. Kanye is fine, he did nothing wrong. Give the poor man respect while he’s going through some difficult times.

Cool Video: The Killers parody Kanye West by having Jimmy Kimmel interupt band’s set…

The Killers are about to jam onto “Pretty In Pink” with the Psychedellic Furs, but Jimmy Kimmel, the late night talk show host, interupted the band’s set as they were about to start the song, and pretended to be Kanye a bit.

I think this will be a popular thing at concerts, famous bands and artists making fun of Kanye.

Cool Video: I can’t get enough of Lunic…

The Albany based, rock band, Lunic, is getting popularity fast. They’ve became an established band pretty quickly even if they only been around here for a short time. No offense to all local bands and musicians, but I’m going to say it now that Lunic is the best band to come around here in a long time, ever. Very tight band with amazing songwriting, unique.

Enough of the usual cover bands and boring original bands that writes songs with three chords only, but Lunic is an original band that is neither of those. They write original songs pretty profesionally, more profesional than any band around here.

I need to get out and see these guys live sometime. Here’s their performance at Valentine’s in Albany, N.Y. with some profesional video filming.

I’m also impressed that these guys like to keep their image casual. They’re not like those wannabe rock bands out there that try to look all pretty and stuff.

This is my favorite Albany local band in the history of local music. Lunic reminds me a bit of Radiohead, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and there’s a little Coldplay influence thrown in there too.

Lunic will show how local music is supposed to be done. I have a feeling they won’t be local for long ’cause this band sure is major label material and I think they will get signed. Enjoy the videos, the videos were filmed by Knight Owl Entertainment.

Report: Joe Perry upset with Steven Tyler, this means new Aerosmith album in danger of releasing…

Joe Perry speaks out on Steven Tyler, saying that he is upset with the Aerosmith frontman that he hasn’t spoken with Joe since his fall off the stage. He is also upset that the Aerosmith tour has been cancelled because of his accident which explains why Joe Perry just released a new solo album this year instead of a new Aerosmith album.

Perry also reveals that him and Steven Tyler hasn’t written any new songs for the new album in over ten years.

NME reports:

Look like we’re going to have to wait a LONG time for a new Aerosmith record, I don’t expect them to go back into the studio anytime soon. Steven needs to get off the booze and the pain killers before he kills himself.

Cool Video: Susan Boyle is phenomenal…

I didn’t see the America’s Got Talent finale last night so I went on youtube looking for it. I didn’t like her the first time, didn’t think she was anything special. Now when I saw this performance, I had goosebumps and she floored me this time. She’s one of the best female singers in a long time. I think I’m definitely going to buy her album. There’s something about her voice that draws you in.

Fuck everything else in American Idol or America’s Got Talent, Susan Boyle’s the best thing to come around. I was blown away by this performance. Absolutely beautiful!

Report: Guitar Hero finally speaks out on use of Kurt Cobain singing songs by other artists…

After Courtney, the surviving members of Nirvana and now Bon Jovi bashing the use of Kurt Cobain in Guitar Hero 5, the makers of Guitar Hero finally speaks out. The Guitar Hero CEO, Dan Rosensweig tells NME.com, that Courtney Love gave Activision the permission the rights so they can use Kurt Cobain however they wanted.

Guitar Hero signed Courtney Love a contract, they paid her for these rights, so this now means this is Activision right to have Kurt sing songs by other artists.

He also says the company love the artists they work with, they want to hear from them if they have complaints and they’ll be glad to fix things if music artists don’t like what they see in the games.

NME reports:

http://www.nme.com/news/nirvana/47369

There you see, Courtney, all you had to do was to be nice and profesional to Activision instead of being a little child on your damn Twitter page.

I’m beggining to agree that she threatened to sue them for publicity and for more money since she’s always getting sued for other things. She’s a bitch and always has been.

I stopped following her Twitter page because she is pretty fuckin’ annoying. How many hours does she spend on the computer everytime? She’s on Twitter all the time. Loser bitch.

I still disagree with Guitar Hero having Cobain sing other people’s songs though, that isn’t right. If Guitar Hero loves Nirvana so much, why don’t they give them their own game like Metallica and Aerosmith? That would have been better I think.

Report: Even Bon Jovi hates the idea of his song being sung by someone else in “Guitar Hero 5″…

Think Bon Jovi himself would like the idea of his songs being sung by someone else? Think again. Jovi is totally with Courtney, Dave, and Krist 100%. He’s on their side and supporting their battle against Activision.

Read what Jon Bon has to say about this here:

Activision is in trouble.

Report: Kanye vs. Taylor Swift segment helps VMA’s get 11 million viewers…

Just a little more evidence that the Kanye vs. Taylor segment could be scripted. That one part helped sky rocket the ratings to 11 million viewers. Pretty good ratings, I must say. The highest ratings of any MTV VMA award show in a while.

More on it here:

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv/2009/09/15/2009-09-15_kanye_wests_onair_tirade_watched_by_11_million_viewers_on_mtv_ratings_are_up_fro.html

MTV hasn’t yet said publicily whether that segment was staged or scripted or whatever. They knew something like this would create controversy and to help get more viewers, so they went with this Kanye vs. Taylor thing.

It’s almost like a WWE kind of thing. Speaking of WWE, Kanye should be a RAW guest host for an episode. WWE would probably end up asking him after this. I’m sure of it.
