Report: A surprising cast member is coming back for “24: Live Another Day”… who is it???

Another 24 original cast member is set to return to the new “24: Live Another Day” mini-series. Mary Lynn Rajskub is set to reprise her role as Chloe O’brian. Who is she, you may ask? Well, if you’ve seen 24, she’s that weird looking woman who sits at the computer talking to Jack on the phone while he works on his missions to hunt down terrorists.

More on the story, here.

Sounds like the original “24” gang is coming back. The cast and the crew! All we need next is for Tony Almeida and Kim Bauer to return… then we’re set!

I love “24”! When I first got Netflix, “24” was the second TV show I watched on it. “LOST” was the first TV show I watched on Netflix, then all of “24”. As soon as I saw the first episode of “24”, I was completely hooked! Watched every episode and every season back to back.

I really do think this mini-series is a test for a hopeful big screen movie. I think they want to see how this new TV show will do. If it gets a lot of ratings and does well… then they’ll get to work on the big screen film that we’ve been wanting for years!

Do I think Hillary Clinton deserves her NBC biopic mini-series starring Diane Lane?

What do you think my answer will be to the question in this title? Do I think Hillary deserves her biopic film that NBC is planning to do in 2016 as part of the next elections? Well, obviously, you can betcha I’m gonna say no to that one. What NBC is doing, they’re rewarding an evil woman. An evil woman who is a liar, criminal, and murderer. We can’t have that. Hopefully, she’ll be exposed for Benghazi even before this mini-series happen. Of course, this biopic is planning to make her look good for the elections. In the biopic, they’ll make her look like a sweet and powerful lady for sure. The biopic will ignore all the bad stuff she has done over the years. Especially Benghazi.

I’m not gonna knock Diane Lane ’cause she’s a tremendous actress (She had a role in, “Man of Steel”, too). I’m just knocking NBC for giving Hillary this opportunity.

If Hillary does happen to become the next president (wouldn’t surprise me)… it’s gonna be scary. She could be ten times worse than Barack Obama. Liberal political figures are absolutely horrible and evil.

Maybe you guys are right. Even if you all may agree that Obama/Hillary had something to do with Benghazi, they’re probably gonna get away with it, anyways. Obama serves his full 2nd term and Hillary will probably end up getting elected ’cause I’m 100% sure, liberal people will be all over her. She’s already getting tons of support from the liberals. It’s just sickening. I hate liberals, man. Hate ’em all.

They just ignore all the bad stuff these people in politics do and they still find them good people. It’s insane. Us conservatives aren’t like that at all. When a politician is bad, they’re bad — doesn’t matter if they’re right/left. A lot of us right-wingers didn’t even like George W. Bush as president. We’re pretty honest people while those damn liberals live in fantasy worlds and they’re all misinformed. Even if it’s proven that Barack & Hillary were totally responsible for Benghazi, they’ll still call them heroes.

That’s all politics, I guess. You’ll come across a lot of weird people in the political world. Nobody knows what reality is anymore.

Cool Video: Michael C. Hall gives emotional goodbye to Dexter fans at SDCC…

This video even brought tears to my eyes a little bit. Michael C. Hall, the main star of the hit TV show, “Dexter”, gives an emotional goodbye speech toward the end of the “Dexter” panel at SDCC. As Michael speaks, you can see the other cast watching him too and they look like they’re all choked up. As Michael ends his speech, the large crowd gives the Dexter cast a standing ovation.

Ya know, “Dexter”, is a pretty amazing show. It’s one of my favorite shows on TV. I don’t watch a lot of TV anymore but “Dexter” is one of those few shows that I love. Season 8 is pretty amazing so far. If you don’t have Showtime, I would recommend you watch this show. The stories can be pretty intense. Out of all the seasons of “Dexter”, I still think Season 4 is the best.

Like most Dexter fans, I too can’t believe this show is ending. Here’s hoping for a big screen movie possibility if Dexter doesn’t get killed off anyway.

Does famous cook Paula Deen deserves all the stuff she’s getting??? I’d say no…

I posted my thoughts on this in facebook this morning and when I got back home (I was out all day), it got some pretty heated responses so I took it down. I defended Paula Deen, the famous chef who is known for having her own show on the Food Network TV station. I have watched her show a lot and I quite like her. Still do. This incident with Paula Deen happened years ago, and it’s real insane how people are getting all over her about it today.

Whether she’s telling the truth about the Southern culture part of things or not, I believe she isn’t racist. I mean — admit it — who hasn’t said or done racist things in our lives? I’m sure we’ve all had. On top of that, the South has had a huge problem with racism for many years so do you really find this a surprise? Who cares. Leave this woman alone and move on with your own lives. There are better and more important things to get mad about.

Paula is innocent and doesn’t deserve the crap she’s getting. She made the mistake years ago, get over it. It seems that when celebrities get caught saying racist stuff — it’s like career suicide for them. Look at Michael Richards (Kramer from “Seinfeld”) and Quentin Tarantino. Brad Paisley too! That’s the thing with today’s media and the internet. It destroys people lives and that’s why fame is dangerous. You shouldn’t blame these celebrity for racist things when quite honestly this whole freakin’ world is racist so stop being a bunch of hypocrites people. Hypocrisy, gotta love it.

I don’t agree with the N word or other racial slurs — people say it by mistake or entertainment purposes but don’t go calling other people racist when you’re no different.

There’s racism that goes on everywhere. Not just the south. It’s pretty crazy how black people can call each other “n***ers” all they want to and others have no problem with it but when white people do it, that’s offensive. *rolls eyes*. Racism happens against white people too and there is no outrage there.

Stephen King has used the N word in his novels all the time and there’s no outrage there either.

So shut up, leave this woman alone, and get over it. Move along, nothing else to see here.

Why “Game of Thrones” is so popular…

So you ask, why is “Game of Thrones” so popular? Why are people talking about the series all over social networking sites? Spoilers are all over facebook and people can’t resist talking about the stories ’cause they can’t help themselves. George R. R. Martin the author of the books and creator of the TV series on HBO is quite a guy.

I did watch all of Season 3 on HBO. It was an okay season but could have been better. Of course, episode 9 was the best one… that certain wedding that everyone is talking about. Don’t want to reveal spoilers at this time.

So why is “Game of Thrones” very popular in the entertainment industry? I can think of 5 reasons why…

  • George R.R. Martin can tell stories like no one else – This guy makes it alright for people to start reading books again. He also makes Stephen King, Stephanie Meyer (The Twilight series) and J.K. Rowling look like little kids. What I mean by that is that George took over those three authors spotlight, big time. George is one masterful storyteller for sure. He knows how to keep his readers hooked.
  • The characters are entertaining – While George makes his characters interesting and likable, one thing to keep in mind about George’s characters in these stories that there are no good guys or bad guys here. The good guy vs. bad guy thing has gotten old and George wants to take things to a different level. While some of these characters — such as Tyrion, Daeny, Jon Snow, Theon, Arya, etc. — may seem like heroes, all of those characters have their share of doing evil things, plus bad things happen to them too. Not everything they do is heroic. The good guys don’t always win in “Game of Thrones”, so be careful here.
  • There’s a lot of unpredictability and people love big shockers – There are tons of intense scenes and people love major shockers. We don’t have that much with books and TV shows over the years. “Game of Thrones” can get controversial at times ’cause of the shock material in the stories. You just never know what will happen with these characters. You have a favorite character? Don’t be surprised if George decides to kill that character off even if that character is very popular with fans. He just did exactly that with the 9th episode of Season 3. Killed off an important character that pissed off a lot of fans. That was intentional and that was George’s goal.
  • People are simply into medieval and fantasy stories – Medieval stories about knights and armor, fantasy tales doesn’t get that much respect anymore. George just made that genre popular again. I love medieval and viking kind of stories myself. It’s nice to see this stuff make the mainstream again.
  • People just like something different – There are no other good TV shows and there are no other good books to read. A lot of people like “Game of Thrones” ’cause there’s nothing else that is good out there. So they get drawn into this franchise ’cause it’s different.

I know I do those “5 – 10 Reasons Why…” posts quite a lot but hey, it’s just an easier way to get my points across on things instead of writing everything in big paragraphs.

Last night’s episode of “Game of Thrones” was the best episode all season…

While I hated most of Season 3 of “Game of Thrones”, they really stepped up their game last night. Last night’s episode of, “Game of Thrones” was the best episode all season long. Save the best for the last. I don’t want to talk about the storyline and the big plot points ’cause I don’t want to reveal spoilers this soon. I’ve read all the GOT books, so I already know what happened but HBO did a good job depicting this controversial scene that got everyone talking. That’s how I want to see GOT. Last night’s episode felt like Season 1 all over again, it was perfect. Even though I don’t want to reveal big spoilers, I can clue you in that two important characters got killed off. Not saying who. Last night’s episode was pretty intense, dramatic, and sad. It was also violent and gruesome. Finally, some violence and gruesome blood! Book 3 is split into two seasons for the show ’cause the book is way too long. So the second half of book 3, “Storm of Swords” will be for next season.

It’s not over yet, though. This is just getting started… there will be even bigger shockers for the season finale. They did a great job with last night’s episode, I was impressed. Gonna watch it again later this evening.

Another thought about the new “24” show, is it a test for the big screen movie??? I would say absolutely!!!

Some may wonder why FOX has decided to do another new “24” show instead of the big screen “24” film that they have been planning for years. I might of figured it out. I think it’s a test to see what kind of response “24” will get to this day. The show ended about 3 years ago and I think the network just wants to see if “24” still has it’s large fan following. Some may have forgotten “24” and there are still plenty of people who don’t even know about the show. The show will indeed bring all of their veteran fans back and of course, will help make new ones. I’m sure that the people who have never watched the show before, will start watching it on Netflix before the new show comes.

I think this new show is just a test for the big screen film that might happen. If this new show is a huge success, then they may go ahead with the “24” theaterical release movie. This could be why they brought the show back for a short-run, I bet. “24” deserves big-screen treatment. It could help make the action scenes even more violent and gritty; that’s why everyone wants a “24” movie so badly.

I hope a “24” movie happens too. It’s a bad-ass show. Love it too much!

BREAKING NEWS: Fox confirms “24: Live Another Day”, Kiefer Sutherland set to return as Jack Bauer…

HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! \m/ I’m pretty stoked for this.

FOX makes the huge announcement this morning that they have ordered a 12 episode run for, “24: Live Forever”, which will makes it debut in the summer of 2014!!! Kiefer has officially signed on to return as Jack Bauer. The show will still have it’s original format. The split screens, the ticking clock, the violence, action scenes, Jack Bauer’s short tempered personality, etc.

Look like the new series will leave off from where the final season ended, after all. It’ll take place several years after the events of the finale of the final season. Howard Gordon is on board again, so that makes it even better.

No plot points have been revealed yet, but I hope they don’t do any of the Jack Bauer hunts down Osama Bin Laden or any of the Boston Bombing stuff. Will any of the characters from the earlier seasons return? I really hope Elisha Cuthbert will return as Kim Bauer. Maybe Carlos Bernard can return as Tony Almeida too (minor spoiler: Tony is not dead yet, was just arrested by the FBI).

This is fantastic news that “24” is coming back. It’s about time too!

See the official press release, here.

Report: John McCain wants to make TV cheaper for America…

Senator McCain maybe America’s most hated politician but looks like he’s trying to redeem himself by introducing a new bill to Congress that could help make TV cheaper and more affordable to everyone. McCain appears to be fed up with the high pricing of cable TV just as much as we are, and he wants to put a change to that. So he introduced a new bill to Congress called, “The Television Consumer Freedom Act”, a bill that allows the consumer to choose the channel in their subscriptions instead of the overpriced bundle thing.

While it’s a nice idea, and I actually like this bill a lot, it’s going to be kind of tough to get it passed through Congress for it to get handed to the President for consideration. Getting a bill signed into a law is not an easy process. It has to go through all of these things first before it’s handed to the President. First, it needs to get reviewed by the committees and subcommittees where it can be accepted, amended or rejected. If it’s accepted, then it’ll get passed to the full committee and if they like it, the bill will get passed to the Senate for consideration. Then the Senate will debate it, discuss it, and vote on it. It must be passed through both houses of Congress before it’s handed to the President, though. Even if the Senate agrees to the bill, and it’s handed to the President, that still doesn’t mean the bill went through. The President has the power to throw the bill out if he doesn’t agree with it and he has the right to sign it too. They have a long road to get up there.

The bill is a nice idea and will change American history if the bill actually gets signed by the President if it gets that far. I agree that cable TV is ridiculously high these days, and I wish they would cut down the prices of the sports PPVs too. While I do love watching wrestling, boxing, and UFC; I don’t watch any of their ppvs ’cause they’re so pricey.

McCain is doing a good thing and it’s a worth a try. Even though, he’s not everyone’s favorite politician, I’m sure he just got a little respect from the people for this one time. I hope this bill does go as far as getting to the President to get signed by him. Will Obama go for it, though? I think he would. Obama seems to be a big TV lover himself, and he might even agree with the bill.

Report: Kiefer Sutherlund in negotiations to return to “24” but as mini-series???

Sometimes you gotta feel bad for Kiefer. Kiefer tries to do other projects besides, “24”, but when he tries other things (like other TV shows, movie roles, etc.) he is not successful. It seems he only gets success with, “24”. FOX is cancelling his show, “Touch”, after two seasons, so they are immediately looking for more work for Kiefer. It’s no surprise they are thinking about bringing “24” back to the small screen. I loved “24”. Saw every episode back-to-back, watched every season on Netflix a long while back. “24” is awesome. What’s going on with the big screen “24” movie they’ve been planning for years? Is that still happening or is that the project being turned into a TV movie instead? Either way, as long as Jack Bauer is coming back, that makes me happy.

It’s amazing to me how Kiefer doesn’t get tired of playing that character. He spent a lot of years playing that character. So I don’t think he’s completely done with Jack Bauer anytime soon. He is a badass character. For the new series they are planning, it’s not going to leave off from where the earlier seasons ended. They are starting it from scratch, in other words, a re-boot? So I don’t think we’re gonna see any of the other characters from the earlier seasons return at all, just Jack Bauer alone with completely new characters. I’m completely okay with that, ’cause like I said, Jack Bauer fuckin’ rules! Love the show, and I’ll welcome a comeback!

Deadline reports.
