Thought: Jennifer Hudson singing the National Anthem tonight…how will she do?

With just a few hours away from the Superbowl tonight, Jennifer Hudson will open to sing the National Anthem. How will she do? Will she sing it great? Will she get nervous and lose her voice? We’ll have to watch and see. She is such a beautiful and hot woman, can’t wait to see what she’ll be wearing tonight as well, hope she’ll wear something to show off her big cleavage. She probably will like she almost always does when she wears dresses. Can’t wait to see her tonight. I’ll post my thoughts right after her performance. I’m sure she’ll sing well. Hopefully they let her sing live and not lip synching.

Report: Springsteen promises he won’t let Superbowl audience down during halftime, he wants to party!!!

Look like Springsteen and the E Street Band will be playing their greatest hits at the Superbowl halftime after all. Springsteen revealed that he promises a good time for the audience at the game. Him and the band only get to play a 12 minute set, which will only fit about 3 or 4 songs. Of course, Springsteen refuses to say what songs him and the band will perform, he wants them to be a surprise.

See the article here:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/30/sports/football/30springsteen.html?ref=sports

I’m betting your money that he will definitely play a few songs off “Born In the U.S.A.”, he’ll play the title track, “Glory Days” and maybe “Dancing In the Dark” too.

Rumours swirling the web, that Springsteen may pull up Courtney Cox from the Superbowl audience for him to dance with during “Dancing in the Dark”. Could this actually happen? Courtney Cox from “Friends” TV show will be at the Superbowl to dance with the boss on stage? We’ll have to wait and find out!

On a side note, Max Weinberg and Labamba Rosenberg will be performing in the band as well, as they are taking time off from the Conan O’ Brien show to rehearse for the Superbowl gig with Springsteen. Weinberg has been a member of the E Street band for many years.

I’m looking forward to the Superbowl this Sunday. I’m no NFL fan but I do watch the Superbowl every year. I’m also looking forward to seeing how Jennifer Hudson is going to sing the “National Anthem”, that’ll be interesting to see too.

Confirmed: George Clooney to return to “ER” for one last time….

Reports are swirling the web that George Clooney is confirmed to reprise his role as Dr. Doug Ross, on the longtime hit TV show “ER”. Clooney starred in the show from ’94-’99, then he moved on to become a huge movie star like he is now.  This is the final season of ER after 14 years of being on the air. Clooney is set to appear on the final episode of “ER”.

While Clooney was filming for the last “ER” episode, it was a very secretive filming that only very few cast and crew is allowed to see.

Great news that he’s on board for the final episode. I figure he would be. It would be a huge mistake in his career if he did drop out. Now that Clooney is on the last episode of “ER”, I will watch the final episode even though I’m not much of an “ER” fan. I’m sure the whole world will tune in and the last “ER” episode will indeed be the highest rated episode.

I like George, he’s one of my favorite actors as well.

Report: Even America knows that all that Obama stuff yesterday was a joke, they rather watch, “American Idol” instead!!!

America is using common sense and getting a reality check, that there is nothing important about them Obama celebrations. The new season of “Idol” got 22.4 viewers while the “Inaugural Ball’s” got 12.6 viewers.

While I’m no fan of “American Idol” anymore like I used to be, I don’t watch the show anymore, but it’s great to see that they rather watch that instead of Obama celebrating his presidency all damn day.

Report: “Friday Night Lights” Season 3 premiere ratings are in and did okay!!!

Friday Night Lights Season 3 premiere did surprisingly well in it’s first episode. It went up a little bit, FNL was up at 4.6 million viewers but dropped down toward the end with 4.1 million viewers. Not so bad at all. Hopefully the ratings will go up a little higher as the Superbowl approaches.

See it here:

4.6 for FNL is not that great or excellent but it did okay in the ratings. As long as the ratings stay around there for the rest of the season, there maybe a hopeful Season 4. FNL is my favorite show on TV and it would be sad if it’s gone this soon, so I’m happy the show’s back for now. FNL is the best TV drama show since the “Wonder Years” with Fred Savage.

Friday Night Lights – Season 3 premiere thoughts…

Just got done watching the Friday Night Lights – Season 3 premiere. I’m so happy to see the show back. Just to give a quick brief review ’cause I don’t want to give out any story spoilers.

The show just got even better. 1st episode of Season 3 were better than the first two seasons. Acting of the cast has improved. Yep, the same actors in the same cast is back. Everybody is the same and has the same personalities except the girl who plays Tyra has a new hairdo and she looks a little older. Tim Riggins is still the same drunk who picks up a lot of girls. Coach Eric Taylor is no different either, the same old short tempered coach who does his best by keeping his team mates in good moods so they can win the football games. I’m glad the writers didn’t change the characters.

Hopefully the ratings will be good on the first episode. This weekend, I’ll keep an eye out for a ratings report to see how the first episode did. Hopefully Season 3 will be successful so there can be a Season 4. This show deserves to be on the air for a long time.

Thought: The pilot is no hero of the Flight 1549 Hudson River crash in NYC, the survivors on the plane are…

While I find the Flight 1549 crashing into the Hudson River in NYC and everyone survived to be an amazing story, I find it laughable that they made the pilot a hero of this whole thing.

The way I look at it, the 155 people that survived are the real heros, they had chosen to survive and to go through with this thing in the freezing cold, they are the brave ones.

I would think Captain Sullenberger himself would agree on that one. All pilots job is to keep passengers safe and alive, that’s what they are payed to do when flying a plane. His only goal was to land safely so he had no choice but to land in the river, it’s the passengers that did their best to survive the whole thing, not the Captain’s. Shame on the media for calling the pilot a hero, and not the survivors, just a sick ploy to get more ratings for their TV news shows.

Report: Allllllllll Abooooarrrrddd BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The Osbournes coming back to TV this Spring!!!

Yes, that’s right…Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack aka The Osbournes are returning to TV this Spring with a new variety show. The new variety show will be featuring comedy skits, impersonations, audience games, etc. The Osbournes already filmed their first episode and will air on FOX later this Spring. The name of the show is titled “The Osbournes: Reloaded”.

More on it here:

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/osbourne-family-returning-to-tv-this-spring-1003929861.story

When will they get through their thick heads that no one cares for the Osbournes? Ozzy was known for metal music, not as a TV celebrity star that he’s turning himself into which is making me sick. He’s no longer the Prince of Darkness that he once was. Turning his entire family into famous celebrities, makes me want to barf. This show is going fail, just like their first TV show failed which only lasted two seasons.

I still think John Mayer’s upcoming variety show will be a hit ’cause America cares about him and the ladies will be all over that show.
