Cool Video: The Resident calls out myspace by showing herself deleting her account on video!!!
I’m sure those who are in youtube all the time, may find this youtuber vlogger, The Resident, familiar to you. She posted this funny video that she calls out myspace by deleting her account on a video. She has other videos bashing myspace.
I agree that myspace sucks so bad. I don’t even look at that site hardily at all that much, I have a personal account, but I barely ever use that as well.
Myspace is full of advertisements, spam, videos, stupid “poker games” and “gangster surveys” in peoples pages that I don’t give a fuck about, too many musicians in a delusional world thinking that myspace will make a name for themselves, myspace is full of delusional people thinking they are an internet celebrity because they are popular there, too many drama queens, I don’t listen to music in myspace much because there are advertisments that pop out of the player which is bullshit, there is just simply too many weird people in that fuckin’ site.
Myspace sucks, facebook sucks, twitter sucks…yes, most all social networking sites suck. The only places on the internet that I’ll be on a regular basis, are public blogs and youtube videos. I love blogs and youtube, I don’t do social networking sites much.
If you obsess with social networking sites too much and you spend too much time in them, then there is something wrong there that you maybe a little anti-social. If you rather waste time making friends with people you don’t even know when there should be better things for you to do, then you definitely have some kind of problems.
Myspace has gotten much worse, I see. It’s just as bad as craigslist.
The only time I look at myspace is to check out to see what a few Capital District musicians are up to and to chat with family members I have in myspace. I only listen to myspace bands only if a famous one I like uploads an entire album before release date.
I don’t know why musicians love that site so much when that site pretty much does nothing to your music. If you’re going to make your world revolve around in myspace, then I think you are in need of help. Social networking sites are a huge waste of time, period.

BREAKING NEWS: Craigslist killer, Michael Anderson, sentenced to prison for life for murdering woman…
I have been following the trial of Michael Anderson story, the craigslist killer who lured a young woman to his home posing under the name of Amy looking for a babysitter in the “help wanted” sections of craigslist. I didn’t want to post anything in my blog about this case until the verdict. Well the verdict is read, and this 20 year old guy, Michael Anderson has been found guilty and sentenced to life. He posed under a fake woman named Amy, hoping he would get sex from this young woman name Katherine Olson, who’s only 24 years old. He shot her in the back and hid her body in the trunk of her car.

So an Illinois Sheriff sues craigslist a Federal lawsuit for promoting prostitution and now a young woman gets murdered?
Just more reasons that craigslist deserves to get shut down and be taken off the internet permanently.
Craigslist is not a safe site, peeps. Just a word of advice for you women in the Capital District or all over this world, don’t use craigslist to hook up a date. Most men in that site are looking for a good fuck, end of story.
It is definitely not a safe website to meet people. The reason craigslist is an easy target for criminals is because it’s free and anonymous. Criminals think they can get away with crimes by visiting that website.
Another 2cents of advice for the women, never use the internet to look for a babysitter. If you want a babysitter for your child, only hire someone you know really well and can trust.
A life sentence is what this asshole needs.
I think it’s time for the public to go on an all out war against craigslist and protest to get that site taken off online. The Illinois Sheriff already started that.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! Nice! The news is reporting all kinds of shit about a dangerous virus that will effect millions of computers tomorrow on April Fools Day. I’m not believing it one bit. It’s impossible for hackers and spambots to do something like that for reals. I’m not buying any of that shit at all. I’m sure America’s computers would be fine.
If people think about this, virus worms never happens on a certain date, they can happen anytime. Don’t believe the shit you see in the news.
The Conficker worm is April Fools. I’m a 100% sure of that and will bet your money on it. Wait until you turn on your computers tomorrow morning and you would see that nothing has happened to it.

Report: Craigslist sued by Sheriff in hopes of stopping online prostitution…
A Cook County Sheriff, from Chicago, Illinois, Sheriff Tom Dart has filed a federal lawsuit against craigslist today. Craigslist is a popular no holds barred anonymous classified advertisement site. While you can use the site to advertise a variety of things, the most traffic the site gets is the “personals” section where people host erotic services.
The Sheriff wants craigslist to eliminate the erotic services promotion, and I agree.

Why do people like that site so much? Beats me. I personally think everybody just uses that site hoping to get laid.
I tried using that site a little bit, but I think I’m going to stop. Craigslist is not a good site at all. Beats me as to why the site made “Best Local Website” in the Metroland in the earlier “Best of’s”. The site is actually full of pathetic anonymous losers.
I hope that Sheriff guy wins the suit and the site gets taken off the net. There’s no real people there anyway. It not only attracts prostitutes/hookers, it’s also a big target for scammers, and bots promoting other websites.
If you want to meet people, craigslist is not a good place to do it, I’ve just discovered. Have some confidence, get brave and meet people in the real world, that’s what I vow to do. Craigslist is actually a dangerous website, I wouldn’t post there anymore.

Anonymous bloggers, beware. You can’t get away with anything, even on the internet and NYC supermodel Liskula Cohen, is going to make sure they don’t get away with cyberbullying harassment!!! Liskula is suing google.com who owns the blogspot internet blogs, as a way to force them to reveal who is behind the anonymous blog simply titled, “Skanks in NYC”. A blog aimed toward Liskula cyberbullying her on a public blog.

Knowing from my own experience of anonymous bloggers using blogs for cyberbullying, there is no way you can e-mail the customer service support to have it removed through blogspot. Google won’t do anything for cyberbullying anonymous blogs. That is probably what gave her no choice but to sue google. I’m glad this girl is fighting the power and doing this the hard way!!! Blogspot is a crappy blog site anyway. I hope she wins the suit and finds out who is behind it!
Yes, it may be extremely difficult and challenging to find out who is behind the anonymous “Skanks in NYC” blog, the blogger may use a proxy server so he/she wouldn’t be traced, but I’m sure there’s plenty of computer experts who work for google who will hunt down that anonymous bully in like 5 minutes!!!

Report: Facebook plans on going music digital but it maybe different than myspace music…
With myspace music launching not too long ago, the other popular networking site Facebook is planning a similar thing but it will be different. The announcement was made by the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg himself. They plan to team up with other song streaming music websites such as imeem.com, rhapsody, ilike, and Lala.
Although this plan is not “definite”, they could also turn down the plan if this doesn’t work out.

Report: Tommy Boy Records indie label joins the myspace hating bandwagon…
Merlin is not the only one hating the new myspace music, you can add Tommy Boy Records to the list. Tommy Boy Records is an independent label, not major, that has mostly hip hop and rap artists to it’s roster. The labels owner and founder, Tom Silverman, also said it’s going to fail and will head to “exodus”.

Thought: Why myspace music is going to fail big time…
Those 4 major labels teaming up with myspace to make this happen are insane to go for it. Why is making music free in myspace a bad idea? It is going to hurt record label sales for albums on CD’s that you buy in the stores. People are no longer going to buy albums anymore because all the music will be free to listen to in myspace. It is not only going to make people stop buying songs from Itunes which is the whole point of this to compete with Itunes, but those fucking record labels didn’t think how this would hurt album sales.
While I do said before that I’m all for music should be a “free” market, I certainly do not want major labels doing that with myspace. This completely makes major labels fucking hypocrites when they all say they don’t want music giving out for free or albums leaked for free, yet they are willing to let myspace run free music.
Want to know why Metallica is dominating the Billboard charts? And charts all over the world? It’s because simply put no one is buying CD’s out there and Metallica has attracted people to buy “Death Magnetic” on CD just like the good old days. No one cares to buy CD’s anymore but Metallica has inspired people to go out to record stores again. It’s really simple to figure it all out.
What myspace is doing with music now is disgusting and pathetic. What major labels “should” really be doing with myspace music is go searching for unsigned and indie label artists, and signing them to the majors because there are talented songwriters and bands in myspace.
This just shows that myspace and the major labels could give a rats ass about unsigned and indie musicians. They think they are better than us. Myspace was oringally the heart of unsigned and indie bands/musicians but they ruined the fun for us by having major labels take over myspace just to compete with Itunes. Myspace is no longer a fun website for amateur, unsigned/indie label bands like it once was.
Expect unsigned and indie musicians to create a backlash at myspace to fight back at them to get what we want. Other than that, I really do think unsigned and indie musicians should forget myspace. We should just create a website similar to myspace a networking site for unsigned/indie musicians only with no major label associates. To make it better than myspace.
I could create a website like that myself, but I don’t have the computer skills to run it or the budget to keep it up all year round. I’m sure a site like that will happen for unsigned and indie labels when myspace pisses off enough musicians.

Attention to all indie labels out there! THE HELL WITH MYSPACE! They wouldn’t go for it. Myspace is all about “marketing” myspace, that’s all they care about so they can add more dollars to Rupert Murdoch’s fucking empire. That Murdoch douchebag is such a cash cow ’cause money is all he cares about and that’s all he wants from myspace is more cash.
