Report: Sylvester Stallone to start his own men’s fashion business based on “Rocky” and “Rambo” characters…

Many people don’t know this, but other than being an actor, writer, director, & bodybuilder, Sylvester Stallone is also a business man. He was the one who helped start the “Planet Hollywood” restaurant with other movie stars. He started his own magazine in the 90’s for a while called, “SLY”, magazine. He also started the “Instone LLC” business which is a company that sells healthy supplemental products for bodybuilding/fitness. Not sure if he still has that in business or not.

Sly’s next business adventure, that he will start his own fashion clothing line for men. It will be mostly aimed for men around Sly’s age, but I’m sure people all ages could buy his stuff from there. Sly’s new clothing line will start next year in 2012. The clothing that the business will sell, will be based on the “Rocky” and “Rambo” movie characters. His goal with the company is that he wants men of his age to look like a “Rebel and a gentlemen”.

Report: McDonald’s sued by a customer over his wife’s nudie pics!!!

At an Arkansas McDonald’s fast food restaurant, a man named Phillip Sherman took nude photos of his wife on a cell phone. When he went to McD’s for a bite to eat, he left his cell phone there and forgot to take it with him. Realizing that the photos of his naked wife were on the cell phone, an employee took hold of the phone and put his wife’s nude pics online for the world to see with the pics including Phillip’s home address and phone number on them. Phillip’s wife is now getting creepy stalkers and is suing McDonald’s main corporation for 3$ million in damages.

TMZ reports:

http://www.tmz.com/2008/11/23/mcdonalds-sued-over-womans-naked-buns/

1. It was his fault that he left the nude pics on his cell phone when he should be smart enough to take the pics off the cell phone before going anywhere.

2. Phillip should be suing the person who took the phone and uploaded the photos to the internet, not the entire McDonald’s corp itself.

3. The judge won’t reward Phillip anything because this will be hard to prove who took the phone and uploaded them online.

Yep, I predict the lawsuit won’t even happen and will get the dismissal and thrown out.

To all you married men out there or to those who aren’t married who have a girlfriend, lessons be learned….it maybe fun taking nudie pics of your wife or girlfriend… or making homemade porn videos with her…but if you don’t want the whole world to see them…keep them in your own privacy really well.

Report: Rollingstone magazine to shrink…

Jann Wenner the longtime editor in chief for Rollingstone magazine plans to make it shrink to a regular magazine size. For over 40 years the magazine has been in business, the magazine is known for it’s large and wide size. Jann feels that time is over.

The smaller size of Rollingstone will hit newstands Oct. 17th.

That’s a good thing they are doing! It’s about damn time too! I always hated that large size and it’s hard to read the magazine like that. Now the sentences and paragraphing in the magazine won’t be so wide, lol. The smaller magazine will make it much easier to read. Kudos, I like that idea.

Report: McDonald’s being whipped by Devo…

McDonald’s fast food chain is being sued by the 80’s popular new wave band, Devo. Back in April, McDonald’s released new toys for the Happy Meals with an “American Idol” based collection of toys each representing a different musical genre. One of the toys was New Wave Nigel which grabbed the attention of the band Devo. The New Wave Nigel toy had a hat that looked exacly like the one Devo wore in the video of “Whip It”. Devo owns the trademark and copyright of the red hat, and the band is taking legal action on McDonald’s. The band claims the company used it without the band’s permission.

Devo bassist Gerald Casale claims McDonald’s ripped off the band, he also made it clear that the band doesn’t like McDonald’s food, and he is committed to suing the company and taking them down. Gerald is the creator and designer of the red hat.

More on it here:

I’m sorry to say this Devo, but McDonald’s gonna win. McDonald’s will win the dismissal. And here’s why.

If you compare the two hats that Devo and New Wave Nigel wore, both are similar style, but they are not exactly the same.

If you look at New Wave Nigel on the below pic, the hat is a bright orange color, not a dark red color that Devo wore. Plus Nigel’s hat is much wider than Devo’s. McDonald’s is completely safe here. It is not a copyright and trademark infrigement because of the differences of colors.

New Wave Nigel looks no where near Devo style. I think McDonald’s intended to make New Wave Nigel look different than Devo so the company wouldn’t get sued by the band.

Yes, I am defending McDonald’s and ripping into the band. Devo has not been in the music business for years, a bunch of old guys waiting for something to happen so they can win the lottery. Devo, bunch of losers!
