Oh my, look like Clint Eastwood is finished with “Gran Torino” film this soon. The man works fast doesn’t he? He sure does.

Welcome back to the leading roles Clint!!! It’s great to see Clint playing the leading role again after all these years.

As usual Clint never dissapoints in his films. “Gran Torino” looks absolutely amazing and I’m definitely seeing this. Clint is one bad ass dude you don’t want to mess with in this movie. Check it out.

Is Clint hungry for a “Best Male In a Leading Role” Oscar?

Report: EA’s “Army Of Two” video game coming to the big screen…

The popular video game “Army Of Two” made by Electronic Arts is getting a live action treatment to the big screen. Universal Pictures has acquired the rights with EA to make “Army of Two” into a live action picture. Scott Z. Burns will write the script, he previously co-wrote “The Bourne Ultimatum”.

“Army of Two” isn’t really a first person shooter it’s basically a war action adventure type of game.

I know about this video game, I’ve been looking at it everytime I visit Best Buy. It looks like a fun game, I won’t buy the game “Army of Two” yet, but maybe down the road sometime.

My next video game purchase will be “Dead Space”, I’m picking that game up next week.

Report: John Singleton pulls out of directing “The A-Team” remake…

“Boyz in The Hood” and “Shaft” director John Singleton has been confirmed and attached to directing “The A-Team” remake but has pulled out of directing the film because Twentieth Century Fox wanted more time to write the script, so they pushed “The A-Team” film back to 2010.

For the past year or so, Singleton seemed committed into directing “The A-Team” remake until now. Singleton had plot ideas that he wanted the film to not be a comedy at all but to be more like 80’s action movies. While there was no cast for “The A-Team” film, Singleton approached Woody Harrelson to play the role of Murdoch but Harrelson never confirmed the role. It has also been long rumoured that either Ice Cube or Tyrese Gibson will play B.A. Baracus.

That’s kind of too bad. I was rooting for Singleton to make the A-Team remake ’cause I think he’s the only director that can make a really good “A-Team” movie knowing what he did to the “Shaft” remake. Now that Singleton is out, I don’t want this film made at all.

Cool Video: “Friday the 13th” remake official trailer hits the internets!!!

Oh my! I’m surprised to say that the “Friday the 13th” remake actually looks very good. Most horror movie remakes are fucking crap except for “Dawn of the Dead” remake, “Texas Chainsaw” remake and “The Ring” remake which are the only ones that I like. Those are the great horror remakes.

But “Friday the 13th” actually looks promising. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing this.

Report: Harry Knowles of AintItCool defends “Twilight” and I agree with him 100%!!!

Harry Knowles a famous movie critic for the popular website AintItCool defends the “Twilight” books and the upcoming movie. He wrote a very good post and I agree with everything he said.

You know how guys around my age or older accuse the films and the books being for “tweens”. He explains that the “Twilight” series will help bring women of all ages to the horror genre more since most women are more into fantasy and romance.

He also explains that the “Twilight” series will help bring all people into a wider world of fandom. He explains how “Twilight” is for everyone, not just for “tween” girls and women of all ages. It can be for men of all ages too.

Read it here at AintItCool:

You men out there afraid to read the “Twilight” books? Don’t be. Do yourself a favor, go to the bookstore and start buying the series. “Twilight”, “New Moon”, “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn”. They are more than just vampire romance, they have something for everyone in the novels. Good storytelling and original.

I’m still reading “Eclipse”, the third book of the series, I’m halfway through it.

You can’t accuse “Twilight” being just for tweens when movies like the “Chronicles of Narnia”, “Lord of the Rings”, “Star Wars”, “Harry Potter”, etc. Are all pretty much the same thing. Those other movies I listed have young “pretty boys” that tween girls drool over too.

“Twilight” is for everyone. Read the books, if not, see the movie, and you’ll see why people get into these “Twilight” stuff. Great storytelling that is a real page turner, Stephenie Meyer will get you hooked, trust me.

Report: Warner Bros. just shot down “He-Man” live action reboot…

Warner Bros. does not feel the power of the Grayskull. While there were talks in the past of Warner Bros. in negotiations to get the film greenlighted, it failed. There is a few reasons for this. There were plenty of directors in line that were in talks of directing this film, many of the directors loved the script so much that they badily wanted to make but Warner Bros. didn’t like the script that much. Bryan Singer and Doug Liman were two of those directors who were asked to do it, but both of them turned it down.

Another reason that an executive left Silver Pictures, the man who was responsible for bringing “The Grayskull” script to the company.

More on it here:

http://www.latinoreview.com/news/warners-does-not-possess-the-secrets-of-grayskull-5548

In my opinion, they should forget Warner Bros. The only reason I think that Warner Bros. is being strict on the He-man reboot is because of the 1987 “Masters of the Universe” film that starred Dolph Lundgren being a box office flop. They are worried that this new He-man reboot that Justin Marks is writing is going to be a flop too.

Yes, someone else will pick up “The Grayskull” movie. Maybe Paramount will pick it up, Dreamworks maybe, Nu/Image Millenium, MGM, Lionsgate, Universal, etc. There are other opportunities.

I’ve said it once before, that even though 1987’s “Masters of the Universe” flopped, I really liked the film very much. The story and script was kinda corny and silly, but other than that, you have to admit that “Masters of the Universe” had some very cool action scenes. And Dolph Lundgren made a perfect He-Man. Frank Langella was so badass as Skeletor.

He-Man deserves another try in Hollywood, Warner Bros. should give the character another chance.
