Report: Metallica vs. Fernandes Guitars, band feuding with guitar company over Rob Trujillo’s name…

Oh my! It’s been a long time since Metallica went to war against something since Napster, eh? Metallica and the band’s reps have slapped Fernandes Guitars company a lawsuit.

Robert Trujillo, the band’s new bassist made a confirmed promotional deal with the guitar company so they can use Robert’s photos and name in advertisement’s with the bass player’s permission. The company also helped Rob Trujillo build and make him custom made bass guitars.

However, when the rest of the boys in Metallica found out about this, it seems that the band isn’t happy with the guitar company since Trujillo is now a new asset of Metallicorp. The band Metallica sent Fernandes guitar company a Cease and Desist letter claiming they had no right to use Rob Trujillo’s name and likeness, pretty hilarious since Trujillo was the one who signed the promotion deal with the company himself.

TMZ couldn’t even spell Fernandes right, lol.

I wonder if this will end up into an all out war with Rob vs. Metallica. Rob agreed to the promotional deal but he probably didn’t think he had to get the band’s permission too.

This lawsuit is lame and will get the band no where.

BREAKING NEWS: Russell Crowe joins “Nottingham”, confirmed to play both Robin Hood and the Sheriff…

Ridley Scott, the man who is directing his next movie “Nottingham” which is another movie about Robin Hood revealed to MTV News that Russell Crowe is confirmed to be playing Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham both, that means Russell will be playing two roles in the film.

I can’t wait to see Ridley Scott’s version of Robin Hood. There are so many movies of Robin Hood with “Robin Hood Prince of Thieves” that stars Kevin Costner being the most well known Robin Hood movie.

I don’t know if Russell would make a great Robin Hood or not. Robin Hood is supposed to young, not middle aged and chubby looking like Russell is. Russell is not an overweight man but he has gained some weight on him if you seen him in “American Gangster” and the trailer for “Body of Lies”.

Ridley Scott is a good film maker so hopefully his version of Robin Hood will be good.

Is Script Girl on her way in becoming the next big youtube star?

She’s a girl in her thirties I believe who works very close to Hollywood, she reports on hollywood script sales. Check her out, she’s a hot chick with great tits and easy on the eyes. Going instrumental???

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately. On my next demo disc, I have plans of making it mostly an instrumental disc. Not sure if this is my final decision on the next disc or not, but I’m thinking about it. A disc with mostly instrumentals with only a few songs with vocals. I’ve always enjoyed instrumental music whether it’s electric guitar or acoustic guitar. I’ve been working on stuff that doesn’t seem to fit with vocal melodies, that I think I’ll just leave them as instrumentals alone.

I want to show off my guitar skills. Show people that I can truly play. The power of ProTools which I have on my computer gives me the power to overdub as many guitar parts as I please. Play rhthym guitar and guitar solos over it.

I have written instrumentals on acoustic guitar before and I want to further it. Something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ll be playing songs in alternate tunings and playing unique chords. This is what I’m thinking what my next demo will be. More on this soon.

Report: Tim Burton already filming “Alice In Wonderland” now…

Well, Tim Burton is not wasting any time on “Alice In Wonderland” by Walt Disney and he is already filming the movie in Cornwall right now. Johnny Depp has not yet arrived on set to start filming his scenes but he will in the near future. Tim Burton has already started filming Mia Wasikowska an 18 year old actress from Australia who I believe is playing Alice the leading role. Surprising that he is filming this movie this soon. I guess he’s really that excited and stoked to work on it.

I hope it’s good though. “Alice In Wonderland” has been remade so many times and it will be interesting to see Tim Burton’s vision of it. Tim Burton has a weird imagination.

Report: “The Dark Knight” DVD/Blu Ray announcement and cover art released!!!

Why so serious? The Dark Knight is still playing in theaters today even if the movie is coming out on DVD soon!!! “The Dark Knight” is being released December 9th in a Two disc DVD SE, a single disc with no extras, and the Blu Ray all coming out the same day.

You can see the cover art of the DVD’s and Blu Ray of “The Dark Knight” in the link below. I will start googling information about the extra features for the DVD/Blu Ray tonight.

I plan to get the 2 disc SE version of course. I’m not getting the Blu Ray. I like Blu Ray discs don’t get me wrong, I’m just not gonna use my Playstation 3 to watch Blu Ray movies with. I use the PS3 to play video games on. I got so many DVD’s in my collection that I don’t really need to start a Blu Ray movie collection anyways. I have at least between 400 – 500 movies in my DVD collection and counting.

I can’t wait to buy “The Dark Knight” on DVD. It’s the best film of the year and I’ll be watching that film a lot at home.
